Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to examine the role ofInformal Credit Institucions for Rice farmers inWolaangVillage Langowan East District and provide benefits, additionalknowledge, information and research is expected to provideinput for the financial management institucions.This research using primary data and secondary data.The sources of primary data are obtained by interviewinglenders and loan recipients by using alist of questions(questionnaire), while the secondary data are taken from theVillage Chief Office. Debtors and creditors sampling had beendone intentionally (purposive sampling) to the 15 debtors and the5 creditors as respondents. Data was analyzed by using tableand Descriptive analyzes.The results of research and discussion showedit that theinformal credit institucions had a role in providing capital forrice farmers in the Wolaang Village Langowan East Districtand made credit process more easy related lending proceduresalthough its interest rate washinger than the formal credit.

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this research is to determine the profile of the business grits pearls. This study uses primary data obtained through interview techniques directly to business owners using questionnaires. The method of data analysis used in this study is a descriptive analysis of data. Data collected are presented in tabular form, and then the analysis costs, revenue, profits, and break-even point analysis is used.The results of this research indicated this business received a profit of Rp. 2.097.043 for a month of production. The results of analysis of the break-even point in this business, when production volume amounted to 376 grits pearls to glass for 5 times the production process. Business owners foresight in seeing the market opportunity and the selection of the strategic place of business, resulted in business is quite promising and may increase the family income.Based on this research it can be concluded that the business grits pearls is household-scale business. There was no bookkeeping in this business and, business owners also concurrently into labor. Therefore, it is necessary to the holding of bookkeeping about business grits pearls by business owners and increase the workforce to expand the business grits pearl. The results of the analysis ratio of R/C of 1,2 indicates that the business is feasible to be developed. In addition, this business has aesthetic value in which business owners are not limited to for-profit but it refers to the service to consumers.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to analyze the industry prospect of processing fried banana in Manado City by taking samples in the research region : Klabat Stadium and Malalayang Beach. Forty respondents were interviewed as representatives to the amount of consumer in Manado.This research was carried out at Klabat Stadium and Malalayang Beach from each location, two sellers were taken as samples start from September to October 2012. This research used primary and secondary data. Primary data were through directly interviewed with the owner and the employees of the sampel location and the forty respondents as the population of fried banana lovers. Secondary data taken through the literatures and institutions related with this reacerch. Analyzes data was showed in tables form.This research result showed that industry of processing fried banana in Manado City has a good prospect because it gained profit. Revenue Cost Ratio that obtained from each location is bigger than others. In condition like this business of fried banana deserves is feasible. Besides the profit sellers would obtain the opportunity doing this business is high because there are many consumers of this product in Manado City. Through this research we can see that there 234 sellers have the opportunity to start open business of fried banana.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMareta Damalang. Sago Processing Contribution to the Family Income in Tola Village NortTabukan sub District, Under guardance of Th. M. Katiandagho as a Chairman, T. Lolowang and J. Timban as Members.The Objective of this research is to determine contribution of sago processing to the family income in Tola Village northenTabukan district.This study use survey method The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained by direct interviews with farmer and analyzed descriptively, and secondary data is obtained from related institution.The result of this research showed that the contribution of sago processing to the family incomewas 75,00 %, other income (Civil Servants, construction, workers, drivers) was 17,67 % , coconut and nutmea farm income was 21,97 %The conclusion of this research result is sago processing still dominant compared to the other business.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this study is to analyze the levels of liquidity Current Ratio of Credit Cooperative “Kamangtawaya”, Sendangan Village Remboken Sub District Minahasa Regency, based on financial report from 2008 to 2013. Research was conducted at Cooperative “Kamangtawaya”, Sendangan Village Remboken Sub District Minahasa Regency lasted for 4 months from January 2014 to April 2014. Data was collected by survey methods. Data collected was secondary data obtained from the data and the books of financial statements as well as interviewed with cooperative leader and treasurer. Data used from were data 2008 to 2013.The research result showed that Credit Cooperative “Kamangtawaya”, Sendangan Village Remboken Sub District was good enough in managing their short-term liabilities, current ratio obtained by the cooperative is still in the normal phase that was is above 100%. So that the savings and Credit Cooperative Kamangtawaya still able to meet its short term obligations.

ABSTRACTMutiara Simbar. Analysis of “Cempaka” Raw Material Inventory Control In Wood Furniture Industry Using EOQMethod (Case Studies at “UD. Batu Zaman”), Under the guidance of Theodora M. Katiandagho as a Chairman, Tommy Lolowang and Jenny Baroleh as Members.The objective of this research are, a)analyze the optimum volume of raw materials required by “UD. Batu zaman” for 2013period, b)analyze the total cost of raw material supply cempaka to be incurred by UD. Batu Zaman for 2013period, c)analyzetime to re-ordering of raw materials cempaka by UD. Batu Zaman for 2013period, d)analyze the amount of safety stock cempaka timber must be provided by UD. Batu Zaman per period in 2013, and e)analyze the inventory control of raw materials Cempaka wood in the furniture industry by using EOQ (Case Studies at UD. Batu zaman).Data was collected from April 2014 - September 2014, The data obtained were primary data and secondary data, Primary data were data collected directly from the company . Secondary data were data that has been arranged in the form of written documents obtained from the company , previous literature as well as from the Internet. Analysis data based on " Economic Order Quantity " to determine the optimal order quantity it’s purchases for with the aim of minimizing inventory costs consist of the cost of ordering and storage costs.The results of the study showed that the purchase of raw materials according to the method of optimal Cempaka Economic Order Quantity during the period of 2013 for one ordering is larger than what the company had done. Optimal raw material purchasing to do the company in 2013 amounted to 4,448 m³ with frequency ordering to do is as much as 2 times, The quantity of safety stock that should be available in warehouse is of 0.24 m³ and a reorder point according to the Economic Order Quantity when 0.603 m³ of wood was available in warehouse inventory. The total cost of inventory to the production process issued by UD. Batu Zaman according to the Economic Order Quantity is less than the total cost of supplies done by company .Key Words : Inventory, Material, Economic Order Quantity.

L.Sondakh as a chairman, Theodora. M. Katiandagho dan Eyverson Ruauw as members)Land is a very important factor in the production of agricultural activities. Land which isnot cultivated or uncultivated land which is called unused land will affect the income of farmersand will have an impact on the decrease of production. This study aims to identify socioeconomicfactors that lead to increased of unused land in Taraitak village.The method of data collection was done by using primary data and secondary data.Primary data obtained from interviews with respondents using a questionnaire that has beenprepared, while the secondary data obtained from the office of the village associated with thisresearch.The research result showed that there were socio-economic factors influence the increaseof unused land. The social factors were low education of farmers and farmer attitudes that hardto be opened to the development of agriculture, lack of human resources, capabilities and less ofagriculture knowledge. Economic factors were land owners do not have enough capital to runtheir farm.Key Word : Unused Land, Factor Socio Economic.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMotoling regionis was an area with a lot of natural resources that can be processed to improve the usability and open jobs for the community. One of the natural resources that can be processed was palm trees that can be processed into Nira products such as alcoholic palm wine and palm sugar. More specifically in the village of the Tokin District of East Motoling it can be said that the treatment of alcoholic palm wine and palm sugar which has good potential for production and consumption habits of local communities to alcoholicpalm wine and palm sugar was exceptionally high.Collecting data of this study was obtained from the product processor farmers as many as 30 people consisted of 22 people from alcoholic palm wine and 8 people from palm sugar, by using a list of questions (questionnaire) as a tool, and secondary data of government agent related with this research.The research result showed that the difference between the revenue of alcoholic palm wine and palm sugar based on data from the real data without calculating the cost of labor and raw materials, was total ratio for alcoholic palm wine farmer acquired the R/C ratio of 21,36 and palm sugar with R/C ratio of 20,89. And the total profit for collecting trader alcoholic palm wine was Rp 10.298.805/month and for the palm sugaris was Rp 5.890.752/month. As for the alcoholic palm wine retailers was Rp1.380.000/month and for palm sugar retailer was Rp 990,000/month. It can be concluded that the business of processing and marketing of alcoholic palm wine collecting trader palm sugar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine which areas that form the basis for certain food crops in Minahasa, and to know their growth and locational advantages in every district in Minahasa Regency from 2011 to 2012. The experiment was conducted using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics both at Minahasa and North Sulawesi Offices. Data were analyzed using Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift-Share analysis in the form of Proportional Shift and Differential Shift. The results showed that corn and sweet potato were the base commodities in most of the districts in Minahasa. Moreover, sweet potato had a rapid growth in nine districts, whereas corn had location advantages in eight districts.Keywords: crop, base commodity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Rurukan region as the plateau region is an a potensial area for development potensional strawberry farm, which not only can be a life strut farmers, but also can be a potensional region for main development of Strawberries comodities. The purpose of this study is to determine how the process of strawberry farm by the farmers since the cultivation stage to the marketing of products, as well as to determine the level of income from farming strawberries in Tomohon sub district Rurukan East Village, this study lasted for 3 months and the data collected in the form of primary data taken directly from farmer groups of kina, Rurukan. The results showed that the income derived from farming strawberries in one season or eight times harvest for 1000 is Rp.20.887.043 strawberry plants with a total production cost incurred for the 1000 crop of strawberries for Rp.5.377.957 and total receipts amounted to Rp.26.265 000. Revenue Cost Ratio Analysis showed that the strawberry farm in the village Rurukan obtain the value of R / C of 4.92. it means that every 1 rupiah costs strawberry farmers can result in revenue of 4.92. this shows that strawberry farm in the Rurukan Village is profitable.
