Abstract

This study aims to find out the participation of P3A (Farmers of water user Group) farmers in maintaining irrigation networks. The data used in this research is in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained by direct observation at the location or interviews based on the questionnaires with members of the P3A Tara-tara Three Urban Village, Sub-district of West Tomohon, Tomohon City. While secondary data including articles related to research. The method of analysis used in this study is the random sampling method means that every member of the population has the same opportunities and opportunities to be selected as a sample. This study suggests that the participation of P3A members in the maintenance of irrigation networks, the areas that run the rice fields from upstream to downstream, so that the benefits of irrigation can be felt maximally. Hence, P3A is required for maximum management and maintenance by using participatory management approach. Basically, participatory irrigation management and maintenance approach is a strategic approach in managing irrigation infrastructure through farmer participation in all aspects of irrigation management, including planning, design, implementation, development (development/rehabilitation), and financing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the participation of market traders in waste management in Pasar Pinasungkulan Manado City. This research was conducted at Pasar Pinasungkulan Manado City located in Karombasan Urban of Manado City. This research was conducted for 3 months from January 2017 until March 2017. Sources of data taken in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews with traders. Secondary data is obtained from PD Pasar Paal Dua office. The sampling method used in this research is the accidental sampling method, which is self-determined of 92 respondents. The data analisis was descriptive based on table of frequency. Based on the results of descriptive analysis it can be seen that the index of market participant participation is high enough with the score obtained is 1.827.

Abstract

This study aims to see the comparison of income that is located in Paslaten Village between copra clay farmers and dried copra farmers. This research was conducted in March 2016 until August 2016. The data used in this research is using direct interview with 10 (Ten) ie 5 respondents of Copra smoke farmer and 5 respondents of Copra Drying farmers. The data obtained will be tabulated and analyzed in a quantitative and descriptive way. The results of this study indicate the average total income of peanut copra farmers is Rp. 5,371,671.26 in one production, while the average total income of dried coconut copper is Rp. 2,533,740.30 in one production.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the business profile of the bakery industry in the company "New Segar" in Pinaesaan Urban District Wenang Manado City. This research was conducted in January to March 2017. The data used are primary data and secondary data. This research is done by directinterview technique with company leader who holds authority and plays an important role in "New Segar" operational process. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and presented in tabular form. The result of this research shows that the business profile of New Segarbakery industry is a cottage industry and has 8 manpower with production of 3 bread models as much as 4600 packs with production value Rp.48.300.000, for its marketing is done in Manado, Tomohon and Minahasa North. New Segar bakery business has gained profit in 1 month amounting to Rp.20.805.000.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to find out the time allocation of women's activities in wetland rice farming in the form of nursery activities, planting, weeding, fertilizing, harvesting until processing land, and controlling pests and diseases only carried out by men. The outpouring of a woman's work time in productive activities depends a lot on socio-economic factors and the condition of her family. Socio-economic factors that influence the outpouring of working time for female farmers are age level, number of family dependents, wage level, land area, marital status, education level, and level of experience. The study lasted for 4 (four) months starting from April to July 2018 in Rasi Satu Village, Ratahan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The data used are primary data collected through interviews with 20 women farmers as respondents. Secondary data was obtained from the Rasi Satu Village office. The analysis used is descriptive in table form. The results showed that the outpouring of working time of women in wetland farming in Rasi Satu Village was at nursery activities of 6.86%, planting of 22.08%, weeding of 20.26%, fertilization of 10.06%, harvest of 40.74%. But land management, and control of pests and diseases is only done by men.*eprm*.

Celsius Talumingan, MP as a Member.This study was aimed to determine the relationship of the mobility levelbetween poor and poverty people in sub Village Touure Tompaso Minahasaregency.This study was done for three months, beginning in August to October2012 in Touure Village, Tompaso District, Minahasa regency. The data wereconsist of primary and secondary data. The first data were obtained byinterviewing the respondents and the second were obtained from the CentralStatistics Office and District Tompaso. Respondents totaling 60 people chosen atrandom by using Simple Random Sampling.This research was shown that the mobility level is low and made bothends meet in Village Touure. The test resultsusing Chi-Square analysis shownthat there are relationship between the mobility level and poverty where thepoverty rate is low or not a personis poor then performeda high level of mobility.On the contrary that the poor people were low in mobility level.Residents who has a job outside the village have high mobility, becauseof the mobility for working. While the villagers who have low mobility only worksas a farmer, although there is a desire to make mobility out of the village to get abetter job, but from an economic standpoint is not possible to perform mobilityout of the village.

Wangke,MS, as MembersThe objective of this research is to determine the role of group member indeveloping of farmer group.The data used is primary data obtained from interviewing all members ofMahsawasawangan and Pinaesaan farmer groups. The interviews are guided by a list ofquestions that had been prepared before. Sampling method used is census method. Thenumber of member of Pinaesaan farmer group are 10 people and farmer groupMahsawasawanganare 9 people . Data is analyzed descriptively and presents in tabularform.The research result showed that the role of Pinaesaan farmer group members wasmore active Pinaesaan than Mahsawasawangan farmer group member that could be seenfrom the level of attendance at the activities that had been done . Therefore, the role ofPinaesaan farmer groups more advanced and more developed than Masawasawanganfarmer group.For Mahsasawangan farmer group , the level of activity of members in eachactivity were less than 50 percent , perhaps due to the average age of the members wereover 60 Years and the capacity ofhuman resources were low because most of the memberswere graduated from primary school. so that the farmer groups Mahsawasawangan lessdeveloped compared with farmer groups Pinaesaan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTFluctuations in the price of copra became a significant problem among farmers where if prices fluctuate often farmers will be disadvantaged as a result of sales sometimes do not cover production costs. The objective of this study is to determine there is a relation between the price of copra toward the production level in South Minahasa Regency.This study is conducted in Southern Minahasa Regencywhere the data is collected from Central Statistics Agency of Southern Minahasa, and Plantation Service of Southern Minahasa Regency. Then the data is analyzed by using descriptive analysis.The research result showed that the price could be used as basic for the farmers of the in increasingthe production of copra in South Minahasa Regency. There is no relation between the price of copra and its production in South Minahasa Regency, and also it could be said that the price fluctuations had not been able to make the farmers improve the productivity level.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDebora Philip. The Flurry of Female Labor of Rice Farming in Beha Village, North Tabukan Sub District, Sangihe Regency under guidance of Charles R. Ngangi as a Chairman, BenuOlfie L. S. and Welson M. Wangke as Members.The objective of this research is to know flurry of female labor in rice farming from nursery work, land preparation, planting, weeding, pest and disease control until harvest. The data used in this study is primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through interviews based on questionnaire to the farmers directly and secondary data obtained from relevant department such as Agricultural Crops, Estate Plantation, and Forestry service of Sangihe Regency, office of north Tabukan Sub District. In this study the variables measured is the amount of labor in women who used the low land rice farming. The data analyzed descriptively.The results showed that the flurry of female labor in rice farming in general was in the work of planting, weeding and harvesting although the available data showed that the flurry of female labor also exists in the number of female workers in lowland rice farming village in the District brassiere North Tabukan Sangihe Regency was 22.64 person – days per ha or 28.03 % in one growing season of rice farming.
