Abstract

The Islamic view of science forms the basis of thinking to reach the level of confidence in the future development of science. This study discusses a philosophical perspective based on the Islamic worldview as a scholastic theology. Research shows that based on the ontology of Islamic education, there are two types of knowledge: the science of material substance and immaterial substance. Based on the epistemology of Islamic education, there are two types of knowledge, namely Kasby science and Radunni science. Based on the axiomatic theory of Islamic education, science has two functions: useful for humans in real life and the future. The implications of research with educational theological constructivism strengthen the Islamic worldview in the Islamic education system.

Abstract

Most rural communities live following prevailing cultural developments, including by utilizing the facilities and infrastructure they have to establish a harmonious relationship. However, using it is constrained by low levels of community literacy, lack of exciting activities, and limited infrastructure. The people of Pasar Keong village need facilities to improve their literacy culture to reactivate it as a reading and reciting garden for students and the community. Empowerment is carried out through coordination and socialization of the activation of reading and reciting gardens, preparing routine activities and human resource schedules, and providing a literacy culture about child development to parents. Coordination and socialization of the reading and recitation garden program involve community leaders, religion, and the surrounding community utilizing public or social facilities. Literacy cultural activities about child development focus on stunting and anti-bullying education to prevent incidents at home and school. The implication is that the more optimal the activation of the reading and recitation garden program, the more it will improve the literacy culture of the community.

Abstract

One of the competencies that the principal must possess is the ability to supervise. Competence in academic supervision, or the capacity of school administrators to offer advice to educators, students, and instructors in order to raise teacher professionalism. Professionalism in the classroom refers to a teacher's capacity to comprehend pupils, plan and carry out instruction, mentor and educate, develop students, and assess their learning outcomes in order to help them realize their potential. In order to determine the planning, execution, and follow-up of the Principal's Supervision Management in Improving Teacher Professionalism at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Jauharotunnaqiyyah Palas Cilegon, this study employs a qualitative approach and the case study technique. The study's findings indicate that: First, planning for the school principal's academic supervision program entails holding supervision preparation meetings, creating supervision instruments, gathering data through class visits, determining the most effective ways to boost or increase teacher professionalism, and preparing the administration required for supervision implementation. Activities for planning supervision involve all educators and teachers. Second, the technical criteria for supervision are used by school principals to implement supervision in accordance with the standards for doing so. Third, provide direct, indirect, and situational coaching to teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Jauharotunnaqiyyah Palas Cilegon in order to build on the academic supervision of the school principal's success in raising teacher professionalism. There was an increase in the professionalism of teachers after carrying out academic supervision by principals both in quality and quantity

Abstract

The teacher is the spearhead of educational progress, if the teacher has good competence, it is certain that the output produced will also be good. But in reality this is not always the case, the problem of student delinquency which is still a scourge in the world of education suggests that the role of the teacher so far has only been limited to teaching material in class, moreover the teacher is considered weak because he has not been able to transform the essential values ​​of education as a whole. in the learning process. In order for the implementation of education to be more focused, a policy is needed which is the basic reference as well as a legal umbrella to overcome problems in the world of education. The policies that have been set are expected to be able to improve the quality of existing education. The formulation of the problem of this thesis is how is the policy of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving the quality of teachers, how is the implementation of the strategic plan of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in increasing teacher competence, how is the monitoring and evaluation system of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher quality, what is only the obstacles that impede the improvement of teacher quality in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the Head of the Madrasah Education Section of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province and the Madrasa Supervisors. The place of research was conducted at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province. The method of collecting data using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that: the policy of the Banten Province Ministry of Religion in improving teacher competence is to refer to Law no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers whose main focus is related to the teacher certification program which includes four competencies, namely pedagogic competence, social competence, professional competence and personality competence. Implementation of the strategic plan of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher quality in collaboration with the Madrasah Head, Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP), Teacher Performance Group (KKG) is used as a medium to socialize programs that will be and are being implemented and involve teachers in training, training and seminar. The supervision and evaluation system of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher competence is by implementing a monitoring and evaluation system that is formative, summative and progress carried out monthly, semiannually and annually. There are two main obstacles faced in implementing existing policies, first, the problem of inadequate budget funds. Second, related to the lack of motivation and internal awareness of teachers to continue to develop their competence.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions like Madrasah Tsanawiyah have a status comparable to elementary schools. The less effective role of madrasa heads in organisational behaviour weakens the Islamic education management process. This research aims to determine the role of madrasah heads in improving organisational behaviour. The research used qualitative methods with a case study approach at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Mustafa Lebak Banten. Data collection uses interviews, observation and literature study. The analysis uses data triangulation. Research findings show that the role of the madrasa head achieves organisational behaviour, namely with a democratic leadership type through coaching, support, advice and motivation. Decision-making is taken through daily and plenary meetings considering the majority vote—leadership success through effective networking, communication, and collaboration. The role of the madrasa head improves organisational behaviour through leadership type, decision making and leadership success. The research implication is that the better the role of the madrasa head in organisational behaviour, the better the educational management of Islamic institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji model kepemimpinan pendidikan entrepreneurship dan visioner. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Library Research (Penelitian Pustaka) dan penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis konten/content analysis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Kepemimpinan kewirausahaan adalah tentang mempengaruhi orang lain menuju tujuan melalui komunikasi yang efektif untuk mengenali peluang dan berbagi visi tentang kemungkinan masa depan yang dapat dimanfaatkan organisasi untuk mempertahankan daya saing. Kepemimpinan kewirausahaan juga harus memiliki kemampuan untuk memotivasi orang untuk terus mengenali dan bertindak atas peluang, untuk menjadi kreatif, dan untuk gesit dalam beradaptasi dengan perubahan. Kepemimpinan visioner tentu sangat erat kaitannya dengan istilah “visi” yang dimiliki oleh organisasi. setiap organisasi yang memilki keinginan untuk maju harus memilki visi yang baik. Visi yang baik harus di buat bersama dengan seluruh anggota organisasi dan dipimpin oleh seorang pemimpin. Oleh karena itu pemimpin dalam organisasi harus memilki visi dan mampu mengkomunikasikannya.

Abstract

Since the 16th century, Pesantren, the oldest educational institution in Indonesia, has been operating. It will continue to grow until it is recognised as a key player in the nation's education. Many individuals and leaders who made Indonesia proud and contributed significantly to Indonesia's independence were born in Pesantren. Pesantren has a very important role in improving the intelligence of the nation's generation, especially in the current era of globalisation. In accordance with the demands of the times, pesantren must be able to make various improvements in various fields, especially in the management of student services and the learning and management process of pesantren that do not only rely on figures, but have a learning and governance system that touches the implementation of professional management so that the management of all elements in the pesantren can develop better. Through the implementation of professional management, boarding schools are expected to contribute to developing individuals who are intelligent, moral, and spiritually strong and can utilise various technical advances and expertise for themselves and society. This research is descriptive qualitative, which is research whose results are written in the form of a series of narratives, not in the form of numbers, but supported by library research.

Abstract

Islamic education is based on the Qur'an, Sunnah, the words, deeds and attitudes of the companions, philosophers, and ijtihad. Philosophers or philosophers are people who actively think critically and are involved in answering big questions that are difficult to solve. This paper examines the thoughts of Ibn Rushd, an Islamic philosopher. Ibn Rushd, Ibn Rushd was a 12th-century Islamic polymath known primarily for his contributions to philosophy, theology, medicine, astronomy, physics, psychology, mathematics, Islamic jurisprudence and law, and linguistics. His work has been used for educational purposes for centuries in both Islamic and Christian cultures. This study aims to determine the biographical background, life, and thoughts of Ibn Rushd on education, then to find the relevance of Ibn Rushd's educational thoughts to Islamic education in the modern era. The method used in compiling this paper is the library research method. Researchers collect data sources through text literature, both books, journals, and articles that are relevant to this discussion. The results of the study show that Ibn Rushd as a philosopher, expert in jurisprudence, medicine and also a legal expert. Ibn Rushd has ideas and thoughts related to education, that education is practical which must be assisted by a theoretically appropriate model so that practical implementation is always in accordance with its theoretical implementation which aims to provide correct knowledge so that it can be implemented into correct actions. Ibn Rushd's thoughts on education that are organized in objectives, curriculum, learning methods and teachers or educators are factors of the determinant elements in education. Therefore, Ibn Rushd's thoughts can be used as an important reference in the advancement of the world of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi manajemen pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi era Society 5.0 melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian literatur. Era Society 5.0 yang menuntut integrasi teknologi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan menghadirkan tantangan sekaligus peluang bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk bertransformasi. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen kebijakan terkait manajemen pendidikan Islam dan Society 5.0 dalam rentang waktu 2022-2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen pendidikan Islam di era Society 5.0 masih berada pada tahap pengembangan awal dengan variasi signifikan antar lembaga. Kesenjangan digital, keterbatasan kompetensi SDM, dan infrastruktur teknologi menjadi tantangan utama dalam transformasi digital. Penelitian mengidentifikasi empat strategi kunci dalam manajemen pendidikan Islam: perencanaan strategis berbasis teknologi, pengorganisasian adaptif, pelaksanaan sistematis, dan pengawasan terintegrasi digital. Framework manajemen yang diusulkan menekankan pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam sistem manajemen digital, kolaborasi multi-stakeholder, dan pengembangan kompetensi berkelanjutan. Studi ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model manajemen pendidikan Islam yang adaptif terhadap era Society 5.0 dengan tetap mempertahankan karakteristik dan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Islam.
