Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perspective of employees on leadership, communication, and information technology as factors that affect job satisfaction in the Langsa City DPR Secretariat. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, which were then analyzed using data reduction, categorization, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study show that participatory leadership style has a positive impact on job satisfaction, especially when employees are involved in decision-making and given trust in carrying out their duties. In the aspect of communication, obstacles occur in the lack of clarity of direction from the leadership and the lack of feedback, although the relationship between employees is generally quite good. Meanwhile, the use of information technology is still limited due to inadequate facilities and lack of training. In conclusion, leadership, communication, and information technology are interrelated in influencing employee job satisfaction. The improvement of these three factors can create a more conducive, productive, and supportive work environment that supports employee welfare. These findings provide practical recommendations to improve human resource management in government organizations.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the understanding of class X students of MA Alhakimiyah Paringgonan towards Fiqh material through the application of the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The problems faced in learning Fiqh in class X are students' low understanding of the basic concepts of Fiqh and difficulties in applying Islamic religious teachings in daily life. This research was carried out in three cycles, each of which consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The first cycle showed that only 45% of students achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in the final test, which indicates the low understanding of students of Fiqh material. In the second cycle, with the application of project-based methods and group discussions, there was a significant increase, with 70% of students achieving KKM. In the third cycle, with the addition of simulation of worship practices and peer teaching, 85% of students managed to achieve KKM. These results indicate a significant increase in students' understanding of Fiqh material after the implementation of PTK. Overall, this study concludes that the use of the PTK method with a project-based approach, discussion, and simulation is very effective in increasing the understanding of class X students of Fiqh material, as well as providing a more applicable and meaningful learning experience for students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the leading sectors in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province, during the period 2015 to 2024 using the Location Quotient (LQ) method. This analysis was conducted to understand the comparative advantage of each economic sector in Langkat Regency and determine the potential for sustainable development. The data used in the form of GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) based on current prices of various economic sectors taken from the publication of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). LQ calculations were carried out for each sector in the time span, with sector classification standards following KBLI 2015. The results of this analysis show that there are several sectors that produce an LQ value of more than 1, which indicates that the sector is a leading sector and the basis of the regional economy. The prominent leading sector is the mining and quarrying sector which shows a high relative advantage. These findings provide a basis for policy makers and regional economic developers in designing optimal development strategies, as well as strengthening local resources to be able to compete and meet domestic and external needs. This research confirms the importance of data utilization and quantitative analysis in directing sustainable regional economic development.

Abstract

The digital economy has changed how consumers make purchasing decisions. The growth of e-commerce, social media platforms, digital recommendations, and digital payment systems has made consumption more fast-paced and emotionally driven. This study explores changes in consumer demand in the digital economy from an Islamic economics perspective, focusing on ethical and welfare issues. This research uses a qualitative method through digital ethnography. Data were collected by observing publicly available consumer activities, such as comments, reviews, and shopping experiences on platforms like Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop, Instagram, and TikTok. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results show that consumer demand is influenced by algorithms, promotional pressure, and easy payment systems such as e-wallets and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL). These features encourage impulsive buying and reduce control over spending. Some consumers later realize the risk of overconsumption and financial problems. From an Islamic economics perspective, these patterns raise ethical concerns related to Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah, especially the protection of wealth and rational thinking. This study highlights the need for ethical digital platforms, better consumer awareness, and policies that support responsible digital consumption.
