Abstract

Professional competence is a technical skill that must be mastered by productive Vocational School teachers. Unfortunately, to date no audit has been carried out. The aim of the research is to audit the level of professional competence of productive teachers in motorbike engineering and business based on teacher competency standards. The audit is focused on the knowledge aspect. The research method is quantitative. The population is productive teachers of motorbike engineering and business with a sample of five vocational schools using probability sampling. Data collection uses instruments. Data analysis uses statistics with the discrepancy evaluation model. Research procedure; problem identification, literature study, field observation, instrument creation, data collection, processing and conclusions. Research result; (1) 96.29% of teachers met the academic qualification requirements and 3.71% did not. Suitability of educational background with teaching obligations; 92.59% were appropriate and 7.41% were not appropriate. 33.33% of teachers are certified educators and 66.67% are not yet certified. (2) the results of teacher competency audits in the form of knowledge passports and training recommendations; 18.52% of less competent teachers are recommended to take basic training, 37.04% of moderately competent teachers are recommended to take intermediate training, 37.04% of competent teachers are recommended to take advanced training, and 7.40% of highly competent teachers are not recommended to take advanced training or professional development. The lowest mean sub-competency score was 2.4 in color maching, while the highest mean score was 3.7 in the battery sub-competency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia melalui metode belajar Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang ada di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Dolopo. Pada penelitian ini mengambil subjek sebanyak 29 peserta didik di semester genap 2021-2022 pada kelas X program studi Desain Komunkasi Visual (DKV). Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menerapkan 2 siklus (pertemuan). Tes hasil belajar merupakan data penelitian yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa mengunakan metode belajar Project based learning (PjBL) di mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan sebesar 62% peserta didik tuntas KKM, setelah diadakan perlakuan hasil tes, pengamatan, dan nilai proyek menunjukkan jumlah prosentase yang lebih besar yakni 93,5% siswa tuntas KKM, yang artinya ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 31,5%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of industrial classes in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Ajibarang. This research uses a qualitative type with a case study approach. Research subjects were the deputy head of public relations, the deputy head of the curriculum, the head of the engineering engineering program, the head of the light vehicle engineering program and the head of the motorcycle engineering expertise program. Place of research at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Ajibarang. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed with the model of Miles, Hubermen, and Saldana. Research data 1) Industrial class planning includes aspects of students carried out by industry and schools as the organizer. The human resource aspect is carried out by means of instructor training organized by industry to increase knowledge about the industry. The curriculum aspect is carried out by synchronizing the school curriculum with the industrial curriculum, then the aspect of infrastructure facilities is carried out by industry and schools with industrial involvement in the form of setting industry class standards and procuring infrastructure and forms of school involvement in the form of procurement. 2) The implementation of industrial classes includes learning that is adjusted to the established curriculum and the internship carried out in the industry. 3) evaluation which includes evaluating student learning outcomes, in the form of students getting certificates from the industry and evaluating the implementation of industrial classes in the form of internal meetings and visits made by schools to industry and industry to schools
