Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the principal's leadership, work environment, and interpersonal communication on teacher performance at SMK Muhammadiyah Wonosobo Regency.  The methodology in this study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study was 75 teachers using Issac and Michael's table so that the number of samples was obtained as many as 63 people and then determined based on proportional random sampling. This research instrument uses a closed questionnaire based on the Likert scale. Hypothesis testing is performed based on t-test, F-test, and determination coefficient test. The results of the study based on multiple linear regression analysis showed that the principal's leadership, work environment, and interpersonal communication together had a significant and positive effect on teacher performance with an R Square result of 0.460. However, the results of the t-test showed that the principal's leadership had no partial effect on teacher performance. The t-test also showed that the work environment had no significant effect on teacher performance. Partially, only interpersonal communication showed a positive and significant influence on teacher performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis; (1) pengaruh persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (2) pengaruh persepsi budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (3) pengaruh citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, dan(4) pengaruh persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya kerja, dan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap SMK Negeri se Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional untuk melihat pengaruh tiga variabel bebas berupa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X1), budaya kerja (X2), dan citra diri (X3) terhadap satu variabel terikat kinerja guru tidak tetap (Y). Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik simple stratified random sampling sejumlah 77 responden dari 255 anggota populasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik berupa uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji autokorelasi dan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan; (1) tidak ada pengaruh signifikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (2) ada pengaruh signifikan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (3) ada pengaruh signifikan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, dan (4) ada pengaruh signifikan secara simultan, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya kerja, dan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap. Harga koefisien determinasi penelitian sebesar 0,653 yang artinya variabel persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, persepsi budaya kerja, dan citra diri secara simultan mempengaruhi 65,3% kinerja guru tidak tetap dan sisanya 34,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. variabel di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of industrial classes in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Ajibarang. This research uses a qualitative type with a case study approach. Research subjects were the deputy head of public relations, the deputy head of the curriculum, the head of the engineering engineering program, the head of the light vehicle engineering program and the head of the motorcycle engineering expertise program. Place of research at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Ajibarang. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed with the model of Miles, Hubermen, and Saldana. Research data 1) Industrial class planning includes aspects of students carried out by industry and schools as the organizer. The human resource aspect is carried out by means of instructor training organized by industry to increase knowledge about the industry. The curriculum aspect is carried out by synchronizing the school curriculum with the industrial curriculum, then the aspect of infrastructure facilities is carried out by industry and schools with industrial involvement in the form of setting industry class standards and procuring infrastructure and forms of school involvement in the form of procurement. 2) The implementation of industrial classes includes learning that is adjusted to the established curriculum and the internship carried out in the industry. 3) evaluation which includes evaluating student learning outcomes, in the form of students getting certificates from the industry and evaluating the implementation of industrial classes in the form of internal meetings and visits made by schools to industry and industry to schools

Abstract

Character education is the main pillar in creating a person’s character through education, both formal and informal education. This study aims to find out the habituation and the usual activities conducted by homeroom teachers for character development of students with special needs in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta. The results showed many activities taken by the guardians at the school in the developing character of students. Some of the activities were flag ceremonies, cooperation, activities that instill values of integrity, as well as nationalist and religious activities. Also, there are habituation activities conducted by the homeroom teacher in developing the character of students with special needs. Among others are independencies, lining up before entering the classroom, knocking on the door, and greeting before entering the room, tidying up the equipment after use, immediately apologizing if making a mistake, and respecting religious differences. The implication in the character formation and development of students with special needs that the habituation should be done continuously to facilitate the implementation in the society.

Abstract

The very rapid development of DUDI demand quality unit education vocation. Especially on the relevance in accordance with DUDI needs. SMK as printer graduates who are ready Work need do effort alignment for increase absorption graduates. Research objectives This is explore alignment on units education vocational, developing instrument alignment education vocation, and make guidelines alignment education vocational. The method used in study This is a mixed method design with exploratory sequential design approach. The results of the study show that results research data analysis qualitative explore related to 12 categorizations and 40 coding. Development instrument alignment education vocation FGD results consist of of 7 components / dimensions and 23 items. Instrument has tested in a way reliable through proof validity and reliability. Results of the proof validity Contents the 7 (seven) experts were analyzed use index Aiken V average 0.89 > 0.8 which means own validity high. Proof second using EFA with KMO value 0.956 > 0.5 and CFA has good fit criteria X2, GFI, AGFI, CFI, TLI, CMIN/DF, and RMSEA values > cut of value. Measurement results alignment education vocation with use results development instrument the to 77 vocational schools and their DUDI partners that is show quadrant 2, meaning that SMK and DUDI have do alignment in accordance with indicator development instrument.

Abstract

Government training institutions are very limited and management has not been accredited. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the quality of productive teacher training management at the Quality Assurance Development Center Vocational Education in Arts and Culture, Yogyakarta. Management analysis focused on the quality of programs, services, and instructors. The research method used qualitative methods. The subjects of the study were instructors and training participants. The object of the study was the management of the implementation of productive teacher training for arts and crafts. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documents. Data validation using triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis using descriptive techniques and mathematical analysis. Research results; (1) the quality of the training program is categorized as very satisfactory (average 93.31) with details; 10% of the assessment frequency is categorized as satisfactory and 90% of the assessment frequency is categorized as very satisfactory, (2) the quality of training services is categorized as very satisfactory (average 92.42) with details; 22.5% of service elements are categorized as satisfactory and 77.5% of service elements are categorized as very satisfactory, and (3) the quality of the instructors is categorized as very satisfactory (average 93.10), with the note; the lowest average value of instructors is in the wood craft expertise concentration (90.18) and the highest average value of instructors is in the ceramic craft expertise concentration (96.21). Judging from the quality of instructors; 12% are categorized as satisfactory and 88% are categorized as very satisfactory.

Abstract

Schools are one of the formal institutions that play an important role in society in realizing Indonesia's national education goals, providing programs and activities that can help students develop their abilities in both academic and non-academic fields. This type of research is quantitative research that uses primary data collected randomly from students at the Muhammadiyah Playen Vocational School using a questionnaire as a data collection technique which is distributed via G-Form. The data collected consisted of 221 respondents, with details of 155 students and 66 female students. The estimation method used in this research is multiple linear regression which is processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 application. The results of the research show that the results of the analysis conclude that, (1) discipline (X) is proven to influence knowledge (Y) at the Muhammadiyah Playen Vocational School influence of 0.594, (2) knowledge (Y) is proven to have an effect on work readiness (Z) with an effect size of 0.279, and (3) discipline (X) has an indirect effect on work readiness (Z) of 0.115 using knowledge (Y) as an intervention variable. However, based on model 3, the magnitude of the influence of discipline will be greater if it directly affects work readiness, namely 0.553 compared to the intervening variable knowledge (Y).

Abstract

Vocational high school education is more effective and efficient if vocational high schools and industries closely. In fact, it is not easy for vocational high schools to obtain cooperation partners with industry and the world of work, the cooperation relationship certainly does not just happen without going through a long process. This study aims to analyze the management of vocational high school cooperation with industry and the world of work including planning, implementation, and evaluation of cooperation. The results show that cooperation planning is based on; (1) potential mapping, (2) regulations, (3) objectives, (4) urgency, and (5) cooperation strategies. The implementation of cooperation is based on; (1) exploration, (2) communication and coordination, (3) forms of activities, and (4) stakeholder involvement in cooperation. Evaluation of cooperation is based on; (1) monitoring and evaluation, (3) activity reporting, (4) supporting factors, (5) inhibiting factors, (6) efforts to overcome obstacles, (7) goal achievement, (8) benefits, and (9) cooperation development. Supporting factors for vocational high school cooperation with industry and the world of work are in the form of positive support that is effectively communicated by all related parties in carrying out commitments to achieve common goals. Factors inhibiting cooperation in the form of a negative mindset and lack of awareness of harmony in achieving common goals. Efforts to overcome obstacles to cooperation in the form of increasing awareness of commitment to achieving common goals with open dialog using the principles of coordination and effective communication that is collaborative. ABSTRAKPendidikan SMK lebih efektif dan efisien apabila SMK dengan IDUKA melakukan kerja sama yang erat. Kenyataanya tidak mudah bagi SMK untuk memperoleh mitra kerja sama dengan IDUKA, hubungan kerja sama tentu tidak terjadi begitu saja tanpa melalui proses panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen kerja sama SMK dengan IDUKA meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kerja sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perencanaan kerja sama didasarkan pada; (1) pemetaan potensi, (2) peraturan, (3) tujuan, (4) urgensi, dan (5) strategi kerja sama. Pelaksanaan kerja sama didasarkan pada; (1) penjajakan, (2) komunikasi dan koordinasi, (3) bentuk kegiatan, dan (4) keterlibatan stakeholder dalam bekerja sama. Evaluasi kerja sama didasarkan pada; (1) monitoring dan evaluasi, (3) pelaporan kegiatan, (4) faktor pendukung, (5) faktor penghambat, (6) upaya mengatasi hambatan, (7) ketercapaian tujuan, (8) manfaat, dan (9) pengembangan kerja sama. Faktor pendukung kerja sama SMK dengan IDUKA berupa dukungan positif yang dikomunikasikan efektif seluruh pihak terkait dalam menjalankan komitmen untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Faktor penghambat kerja sama berupa mindset negatif dan kurangnya kesadaran terhadap keselarsan dalam mencapai tujuan bersama. Upaya mengatasi hambatan kerja sama berupa meningkatkan kesadaran komitmen untuk mencapai tujuan bersama dengan dialog terbuka menggunakan prinsip koordinasi dan komunikasi efektif yang bersifat kolaboratif.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the competency standards for TBSM teachers in the Sleman area, to describe the competency standards for TBSM teachers, to map the professional competencies of TBSM teachers based on the Center for Development and Empowerment of Educators and Education Personnel in the Automotive and Electronics Sector BBPMPPV BOE Malang. This research method uses discrepancy. The research results show (1) The educational background of TBSM teachers in Sleman Regency Vocational Schools is still not in accordance with government regulations (2) The average teacher professional mastery score is 469.7 points or 78, which means the professional mastery of 19 teachers is in the competent category. The results of individual acquisition of teacher professional competence in the quite competent category were 1 person, 16 people in the competent category, and 2 in the very competent category. It can be concluded that no teachers are not yet competent. (3) The obstacle to increasing teacher competency is teacher participation in training; of the 19 teachers, 8 have participated in training, while 11 people have never participated.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the educational background, the suitability of teacher competence or linearity, and map the professional competence of productive teachers in the vocational school of arts and culture. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research stages are; collecting information related to teacher educational background, education and training data, and interviews. The research subjects were school principals, administrative heads, and teachers. The evaluation uses the discrepancy model. The research population is principals and productive teachers of the vocational schools of arts and culture. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation uses source triangulation and collection. Data analysis used descriptive techniques and simple mathematical analysis. The results showed that: (1) The educational background of productive teachers; dance, musical arts, theater arts, and puppetry arts 96,67% in accordance with the legal basis set by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia; (2) The suitability of the competence or linearity of productive teachers according to learning materials in vocational high school; and (3) A map of professional competence for productive teachers; dance, musical arts, theater arts, and puppetry are 30% of teachers in the mastering category and 70% in the very mastered category. Based on passport skills, it is recommended that 8 (26,67%) teachers attend secondary level training, 9 (30%) teachers attend advanced training, and 13 (43,33%) teachers attend advanced level training. The results of the study are recommended for consideration by the relevant agencies in making policies, recruiting, improving the quality of teachers, determining teaching tasks, teaching burdens, and developing teacher coaching models.
