The method used is a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaire research instruments to employees, and then processing them using a computer application, namely SPPS. This research was carried out at PT. Garmindo Jaya Palace with work motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) variables on employee performance (Y) processed using correlation analysis, regression analysis, t-test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this research use the t-test (partial) which shows the results that the work motivation variable has a partial effect on employee performance and the work discipline variable has a partial effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, the F test (simultaneous) shows that work motivation and work discipline on employee performance simultaneously or together influence employee performance at PT. Garmindo Jaya Palace.

Referring to the judgment sampling technique, the amount of primary data obtained is as many as 120 employees who work at NPO in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. To verify the research hypothesis, a structural equation modeling technique based on partial least squares was applied. The results show that transformational, transactional leadership, and work engagement affect OCB. The results of this study may be useful for NPO leaders and supervisors, especially regarding the influence of leadership behavior on the work results of human resource assets. Due to the limited amount of research conducted on leadership in non-profit organizations, this research contributes theoretically and empirically to the leadership literature as it is the first study to investigate the two leadership styles on work-related outcomes and work engagement in the non-profit sector.

Abstract

The urgency of the PERMESTA movement lies in its expression of regional dissatisfaction with the centralization of power and economic injustice after Indonesia's independence. The move highlights the need for a more equitable redistribution of resources, regional autonomy, as well as showing how the involvement of foreign powers can complicate domestic conflicts, triggering a government military response. The purpose of the study is to analyze The Strategic, Military and CounterinsurgencyTactics of the PERMESTA Movement (Case Study Guerilla Warfare in Sulawesi). The method used is qualitative descriptive with a systematic Literature Review approach. The results of this study show that the Permesta movement in the 1950s showed how regional dissatisfaction with political and economic centralization could trigger rebellions. Permesta, which began in Sulawesi, emphasizes the demand for regional autonomy in response to the perceived development inequality between the central and regional governments. Using guerrilla warfare tactics, the movement leveraged the geographical terrain and local support to fight the government. On the other hand, the Indonesian government implements a counter-insurgency strategy that combines military operations and efforts to win the hearts of the people through socio-economic development. This conflict shows the importance of local community support in determining the success of the insurgency movement or government response. Although the government has succeeded in quelling the rebellion, the Permesta case highlights the challenges in dealing with regional conflicts involving complex political, ideological, and socio-economic dynamics in an archipelagic country like Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of struggle tradition mental training is a foundational pillar in shaping resilient and adaptive Air Force personnel in response to the dynamics of global challenges. This study aims to identify effective strategies in enhancing the mental readiness and resilience of Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) soldiers in facing both internal and external threats. The research uses a qualitative descriptive-analytical method through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that mental development programs integrated with core values such as discipline, loyalty, perseverance, and unity—supported by methods like Santiaji, Santi Karma, religious activities, physical training, and psychological counseling—significantly improve the psychological and spiritual strength of the personnel. Moreover, the effectiveness of these programs is reinforced by supporting factors such as worship facilities, sports infrastructure, healthcare services, and strong command leadership. The study recommends systematic and continuous reinforcement of mental development programs across all Air Force units to shape professional, ethical, and globally responsive personnel.

Abstract

The Indonesian National Police Research and Development Center identified issues such as a lack of educational information, a tendency toward declining personnel discipline, and suboptimal personnel performance. Therefore, this study aims to determine the influence of educational level and work discipline on personnel performance. This study is quantitative in nature, using a quota sampling technique to select 64 personnel consisting of non-commissioned officers and first officers (Pama) in the Indonesian National Police, grades II A – III C for civil servants in the Indonesian National Police, by collecting data through observation, questionnaires, and interviews as a supplement to enhance research understanding. The results of validity and reliability tests indicate that all research statements are valid and reliable. Classical assumption tests have been met, including normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroskedasticity tests. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that the variables of educational level and work discipline have a positive and significant influence on personnel performance. Partial hypothesis testing (t-test) shows that educational level and work discipline have significant values from the variables Educational Level X1 and Work Discipline X2 on Performance Y. Similarly, simultaneously (F-test), educational level and work discipline variables together have a significant influence on the performance of Puslitbang Polri personel.

Abstract

This study examines the territorial development strategy implemented by Military District Command 1603/Sikka (Kodim 1603/Sikka) in strengthening regional resilience to face the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki. The research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Pembinaan Teritorial (Binter) strategy as part of Indonesia’s total defense system in responding to nonmilitary threats such as natural disasters. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through field observations, interviews, and documentation with Kodim officers, local government, and disaster management agencies. The results show that the Binter strategy effectively strengthens social and physical resilience through three pillars: social communication, territorial defense empowerment, and community engagement. Kodim 1603/Sikka plays a crucial role as a coordination hub, bridging the synergy between local government, BPBD, and the community to enhance preparedness and adaptability. The study concludes that territorial development, when integrated with disaster management, significantly contributes to an adaptive and participatory regional defense model.
