Abstract

Typhoid fever is one of the dangerous diseases and many sufferers. This disease attacks humans regardless of age and in principle can be cured. The chance of a patient's recovery can be known, among other things, when someone has historical information or the patient's history during the time of treatment. Historical data from various typhoid patients can be used to predict the recovery of other typhoid patients, if they are in similar conditions. This study aims to apply multivariate logistic regression from the concept of prediction and etiology to examine the recovery factors of typhoid patients. This study's etiological notion is restricted to using a single exposure variable. The data analysis uses quantitative research. The results of the predictive concept show that the regression equation model is y=0.465 -1.174Age(2)-0.646Age(3)-0.888Age(4)+0.211Hemoglobin(1)+0.317Platelet(1)+0.308Calcium(1)-0.330Current_Medication(1) +0.500Current_Medication(2). The chance of a typhoid patient recovering is a maximum of 75%, which can occur when the patient's platelet and calcium conditions are normal. Meanwhile, the lowest chance of patient recovery is 23%, which can occur when the patient is 31-40 years old and the treatment applied is ceftriaxone. From an etiologic concept, two best models were found, namely a model where age is the exposure variable, current medication is the confounder, and treatment_outcome is the dependent variable, and the second model where age is the exposure variable, current medication is the confounder, and treatment_outcome is the dependent variable. From the etiological concept, it can be seen that the variables that have the most influence on patient recovery are age and the treatment used. In addition, the use of GPT Data Analyst was concluded to be unable to directly analyze logistic regression data for typhus cases, but it can be used to help simplify data analysis for researchers by using logistic regression coding.

Abstract

Stunting is a disorder in children caused by chronic nutritional problems. Stunting is usually characterized by a child’s failure to grow and develop optimally. In Indonesia, the government is focusing on addressing of stunting case, as it aims to develop the superior of human resources. In Tangerang regency is currently holding a “Gebrak Tegas” program to address the problem of stunting. The causes of stunting required scientific study to help the government understand the scientific factors that causing stunting. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors causing stunting the children in the Tangerang regency. The data analysis method in this study use the Seemingly Unrelated Regression (SUR), which is integrated with a machine learning, namely Random Forest. The data used in this study were obtained from primary data through questionnaires. The subjects of this study were parents of stunting and non-stunting children who were at “Posyandu” under of “Kelapa dua” and “Binong” health centers. Sampling method in this study is purposive-random sampling. The results of the data analysis showed that the five variables from the factors measured had the most significant influence, namely nutritional, socio-economi, and pregnancy and childbirth history factors. Five variables that influence children stunting are animal protein, which has the highest probability of 87.5% when the children consumes protein once or twice a week. The children consume vitamin A twice has a 97% probability. The source of income for the parents, whether from the private or self-employment, has a probability of over 90%. Furthermore, the consumption of iron-boosting tablets by mother during pregnancy and the amount of income from the parents have a probability of 84%.

Abstract

Pengabdian kali ini adalah melaksanakan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital pengolahan dan analisa data untuk mendukung program “Desa Cantik” dari BPS Kabupaten Tangerang. Adapun peserta pelatihan terdiri dari dua kelompok agen statistic, yaitu dari desa Surya Bahari dan Sukawali. Peserta tersebut merupakan agen statistic dari kedua desa, yang dipilih oleh BPS Kabupaten Tangerang. Pelaksanaan pelatihan berada di kantor kelurahan Surya Bahari. Adapun pelatihan dilakukan secara teori dan praktik. Keberhasilan pelatihan diukur dengan pemberian pretest dan posttest. Materi pelatihan adalah bagaimana prosedur uji banding dua kelompok untuk data besar. Data yang digunakan untuk pelatihan adalah data hasil tangkapan ikan dari kedua desa. Selanjutnya, peserta diberikan test yang berhubungan dengan materi yang telah dipelajari, yaitu berupa pretest dan posttest. Adapun hasil dari pretest dan posttest kemudian dianalisa menggunakan metode statistika inferensia, yaitu uji paired sample test. Hasil dari output analisa data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan literasi digital pengolahan dan analisa data statistik yang signifikan dari seluruh peserta pelatihan.

Abstract

Volatilitas merupakan suatu alat ukur untuk menentukan probabilitas portofolio bisnis di masa depan yang berpotensi turun atau naik. Volatilitas sangat memengaruhi pergerakan nilai harga saham, maka dari itu, peramalan terhadap volatilitas perlu dilakukan apabila seseorang ingin membeli atau menjual saham. Untuk melakukan peramalan, diperlukan adanya penggunaan metode yang tepat. Pada penelitian ini, menerapkan beberapa metode untuk peramalan, yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Exponential Smoothing : Single Exponential Smoothing (SES), Adaptive-Response-Rate Single Exponential Smoothing (ARRSES) dan Holt’s Linear serta metode ARCH. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa persentase kesalahan menggunakan metode exponential smoothing yaitu SES, ARRSES, Holt’s Linear berkisar 4% - 6,6% sedangkan dengan metode ARCH-GARCH berkisar 9,81% - 12,4%. Dengan demikian, metode exponential smoothing yang digunakan lebih baik dalam kasus harga saham pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan tingkat kesalahan yang lebih kecil dibandingkan metode ARCH.Kata Kunci:  saham, SES, ARRSES, Holt’s, ARCH

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, student learning is done from home with online learning. Many teachers use methods to adjust learning from face-to-face to face-to-face online. One of the learning methods used is the flipped classroom. In several studies, this method has been able to improve students' mathematics skills. Based on this background, researchers are interested in examining the effectiveness of using the flipped classroom method in ANOVA learning at the university level. The subjects of this study were students of the land transportation study program at STTD Bekasi and statistics at Matana University. The number of research subjects was 14 students. The data analysis method used was the non-parametric sign test to paired population method. From the analysis carried out, the results showed that the flipped classroom method applied resulted in a significant increase in students' ANOVA material learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tidak semua siswa SMA/SMK/MA di Indonesia setelah lulus sekolah melanjutkan belajar jenjang universitas. Fakta ini juga ditemukan di SMKN 1 Sedan, Rembang. Berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh Lilik Herawati selaku guru matematika SMKN 1 Sedan, mayoritas siswa setelah lulus SMK adalah bekerja, selanjutnya wiraswasta dan menikah. Karena latar belakang tersebut maka diadakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dalam bentuk seminar edukasi statistika (data sains) dalam dunia entrepreanure di SMKN 1 Sedan, Rembang. Tujuan diadakan edukasi ini adalah untuk menambah wawasan para siswa-siswi SMKN 1 Sedan, Rembang mengenai peran statistika data sains untuk dunia bisnis atau wirausaha. Harapannya adalah meningkatkan wawasan atau ilmu pengetahuan megenai statistika (data sains) dalam dunia bisnis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisa data pretest dan postest dengan menggunakan uji paired-t adalah terdapat peningkatan yang berarti (signifikan) wawasan atau pengetahuan siswa-siswi SMKN 1 Sedan mengenai peran statistika data sains untuk dunia bisnis atau wirausaha setelah seminar edukasi dilaksanakan
