Abstract

ABSTRAK: Corporate Social Responsibibility (CSR) sejalan dengan prinsip syariah, terutama mas}lah}ah dan maqa>s}id al-sha>ri>‘ah. Namun dari hasil beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja sosial LKS  masih sangat rendah dan sebagian menemukan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara perbankan syariah dan konvensional. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena alat ukur yang kurang mengakomodir aktivitas sosial bank syariah. Sehingga penelitian ini mencoba melakukan eksplorasi CSR dengan menggunakan konsep maqashid syariah  dan membandingkannya dengan bank konvensional dengan menggunakan uji beda –t. Hasil penelitian ternyata mendukung penelitian sebelumnya, karena tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan meski ada beberapa indikator kegiatan sosial yang dilakukan pada bank syariah namun tidak ditemukan pada bank konvensioanl sehingga tidak bisa dilakukan uji beda.Keywords: Financial Performance, Social Performance, Profit and Loss Sharing

Abstract

Perkembangan perbankan syariah telah mengalami progres yang sangat berarti bukan hanya di negara-negara Islam saja, namun di negara-negara barat seperti Eropa, Australia dan Amerika, tak terkecuali Indonesia. Meskipun perkembangan perbankan syariah menggembirakan dan penelitian terkait perbankan syariah juga meningkat, namun hanya sedikit literatur akademik dan juga penelitian yang mencoba menjelaskan tentang implikasi ekonomi dari keberadan bank syariah yang dikatakan berbeda dengan bank konvensional. Jumlah populasi penduduk muslim yang besar di Indonesia seharusnya menjadi potensi kekuatan pasar bagi perbankan syariah, sehingga diasumsikan permintaan terhadap jasa perbankan syariah lebih tinggi dibanding pada bank konvensional ditambah lagi dengan adanya pelarangan riba dalam Islam, seharusnya berdampak pada pengambilan keputusan bertransaksi dengan pihak perbankan. Berdasarkan latar belakang yang sudah dijelaskan, maka penelitian ini mencoba mengukur dan membandingkan kekuatan pasar perbankan syariah dan konvensional di Indonesia dengan menggunakan sampel penelitian meliputi 9 bank dimasing masing kelompok sejak tahun 2011-2015 dengan menggunakan Lerner Index untuk mengukur kekuatan pasarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kekuatan pasar pada kedua bentuk perbankan baik syariah maupun konvensional meskipun secara rata rata kekuatan pasar bank konvensional ternyata lebih tinggi.

Abstract

The research was conducted as motivated by previous research related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Previous researchfound mixed results seen from factors that influence the level of disclosure of CSR such as size, leverage, profitability (financial performance), board composition and ownership structure. The results of these findings is the space to do the test again to make the development or change in methodology. While the results of related research in Islamic banks are financing gap (lack). To the researchers intend to analyze whether the financial effect on the financial performance of Islamic banks as well as the extent to which the existence of the Syaria Supervisory Board moderating relationship. After that study also examines whether financial performance (profitability) affect the disclosure of CSR by entering the variable composition of the Council to moderate the relationship. Methodology that differentiates it from previous research, the supervisory board who previously used as a moderating variable became an independent variable by using Islamicity Disclosure Index and analysis tool using the Moderation Regression Analysis. The results showed no significant effect of financing, profitability and CSR Disclosure, and the role of DPS was also moderate the influence of the relationship between financing and profitability, but the Board of Commissioners did not moderate the influence of the relationship between profitability and CSR disclosure

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the consumption behavior of gymnastics activists in Sukosari Village and their impact on their family finances. The behavior shown is to be willing to spend more money to buy gymnastics equipment that is quite expensive and other non-urgent consumption which results in an increase in the family's financial budget. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a field research approach based on data analysis obtained from interviews and observations. The results obtained from this study are: 1) The consumption motives of housewives of gymnastics activists in Sukosari Village are based on needs, and maslahat, and a small part of it is followed by desire, ego, and individualism. It is these motives based on desires and egos that are not advocated in Islam. 2) Most of the mothers of gymnastics activists consume something especially gymnastics needs only if it is urgent. Others are based on the latest model they like. 3) Some gymnastics activists have a savings ratio below 10% or below the minimum percentage of savings ratio. This shows that gymnastics activities and other non-urgent consumption lead to a reduced level of savings in the family finances of gymnastics activist mothers.

Abstract

Investment is an important policy to increase sources of funding in a country. One source of funding is obtained from investment. One type of investment that can increase a country's income is foreign investment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence foreign investment. This study also uses intervening variables. The data used is secondary data. The results of this study are GRDP, inflation and wages simultaneously have an influence on foreign investment. From this study it is also concluded that GRDP and inflation simultaneously affect wages. Meanwhile, if viewed partially, GRDP and wages both have an influence on foreign investment, while inflation, when viewed from the probability value, has no effect on foreign investment. While partially GRDP and wages have an influence on foreign investment. While inflation has no effect. As well as this research also concludes that partially GRDP has an influence on wages, while inflation has no effect on wages.

Abstract

The Lazada application is a Singapore private Marketplace application founded by Rocket Internet in 2011. Lazada is an online shopping center that offers various types of products. The decision to purchase has several considerations regarding product quality, price, place, and promotions offered. This purchase decision stage is an evaluation stage by consumers to buy the preferred product brand. This quantitative research aims to answer whether there is a positive influence between product quality, price, and promotion on purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. To test and analyze Product Quality, Price, and Promotion on consumer purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. The research method used is quantitative by collecting primary data through the survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 Ponorogo students. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing is done by statistical tests, namely the t-test (partial) and the F-test (simultaneous). The results of this study are based on the partial test (t-test) showing that the product quality variable has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. This can be seen from the t count of 2.250 with a sig value of 0.027. Based on the partial test (t-test) shows that the price variable has a positive effect on purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. This can be seen from the t count of 2.428 with a sig value of 0.017. Based on the partial test (t-test) shows that the promotion variable has a positive effect on purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. This can be seen from the t count of 3.198 with a sig value of 0.002. The F test results show that the variable product quality, price, and promotion positively and significantly influence purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. This can be seen from the acquisition of F count 37.264 with a sig value of 0.000.

Abstract

Facility and service are essential parts that must exist in hotels, especially sharia hotels, which must pay close attention to facilities and services to support the hotel's success. This study aims to determine how facilities and services hotel constraints in carrying out compliance with sharia principles at Hotel Asia Jaya Syariah Sarangan. The results of this study are in terms of facilities at the Asia Jaya Syariah Hotel as a whole in accordance with Islamic law in the hospitality business, starting from the entertainment, consumption, ethical, and layout principles. Service, as a whole, has been good in implementing the six sharia principles. It's just that there are shortcomings in applying the consumption principle in restaurants because there is no supervision on how to slaughter the meat purchased. Constraints in sharia compliance from Hotel Asia Jaya Syariah Sarangan have not been able to comply with rules Numbers 3, 6, and 7 in the Fatwa of the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council No. 108/DSN-MUI/X/2016 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Sharia Tourism because they do not have a valid halal certificate. Issued by the Ministry of Religion, it does not yet have a hotel service procedure guide and has not used Islamic financial institutions' services.

Abstract

This field of qualitative research aims to examine global Islamic online marketing strategies on Shopee. This study used data mining methods for examination, classification, verification, analysis, and conclusion. The research found that Shopee's strike price system for online selling and buying follows the Islamic business ethics axiom of unity ethics and free will. Marketing does not discriminate, and he has tried to boost sales as a businessman. Sellers play a drastic price game by raising the price before the strike price. That can hurt other markets and consumers. Online marketing using a promotional system to buy and sell on Shopee Marketplace does not violate the ethical principles of unity and free will. The promotion is not coercive because it applies to all consumers. It has reduced losses on its Shopee Marketplace products. Balance, accountability, and truth are incompatible with Islamic business ethics because this marketing relies on positive testimonials from consumers or delivery couriers. The Shopee marketplace's quality system of goods conforms to the ethical hypothesis of unity and free will because sellers use some goods for bonus systems or strike prices to reduce losses for all consumers such as violates balance, accountability, and truth because the product is nearly expired and doesn't match the promotion's description.
