Abstract

The application of the concept of convenience triggers risks in Sharia KPR financing, such as problems with financing, cancellation of financing, delays in payment of material debts, delays in handing over buildings, and the risk of differences in land size. This qualitative field research aims to identify risks analyze the risk assessment of Sharia home ownership financing, the factors causing risk, and the risk management process in Sharia home ownership financing at Griya As-Sakinah PT Housing. Sabab Podho Moro Madiun. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Researchers interviewed the developer (Director, Marketing Manager, Development Manager, Marketing Staff, Financial Administration Staff, Warehouse Administration Staff, and Engineering Team) and 3 (three) Griya As-Sakinah PT Housing users. Sabab Podho Moro Madiun. This research uses data analysis with an inductive method. The research results show Sharia house ownership financing at Griya As-Sakinah PT Housing. Sabab Podho Moro Madiun experiences several risks, namely financing risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, and compliance risk. Risk assessment of Sharia home ownership financing at Griya As-Sakinah PT Housing. Sabab Podho Moro Madiun is ranked 4th, namely high-fair—factors causing financing risks at Griya As-Sakinah Housing PT. Sabab Podho Moro Madiun comes from the developer (internal management processes, HR, and cash flow), and factors from the user (profitability, prospects, character, capacity, and user condition). The process of implementing risk management in PT. Sharia homeownership financing. Sabab Podho Moro has not fully implemented the risk management stages. The developer prioritizes the concept of flexibility and the principle of kinship towards users.

Abstract

Online games that carry the theme of the play-to-earn movement have become a new phenomenon in the game industry because they can be used for a business. One of the games that developed into a business is the Axie Infinity game. The research method is a qualitative descriptive, field research approach with data obtained from interview data collection and documentation. The results of this study are 1) The practice of Axie Infinity game business transactions is carried out in two ways, namely through the Axie Infinity marketplace and through the intermediary of the Axie Family community leader. Both ways of business transactions are contrary to the principles or axioms of Islamic business ethics, which are not in accordance with the principles of tawhid, balance or justice, free will, and responsibility. 2) Factors that affect the business transactions of the Axie Infinity game include interpretation factors of the law, organizational factors, and individual factors or certain condition situations. 3) The play of Axie Infinity game done by players has an impact on the game players. Impact can be in the form of impacts on economic, social, impact on physical health, psychological aspects, time aspects, and financial aspects. In general, the business does have an impact on increasing player income, but the income obtained is erratic and risks player losses.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif menjadi semakin penting dalam ilmu pengetahuan modern. Namun, menyusun penelitian dengan pendekatan ini tidaklah mudah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang strategi dasar yang diperlukan dalam menyusun penelitian metode kuantitatif, serta bagaimana mengatasi berbagai tantangan yang mungkin muncul di sepanjang proses penelitian. Dengan menggunakan metode kajian pustaka, artikel ini mengidentifikasi beberapa strategi kunci dalam merancang penelitian kuantitatif, termasuk pemilihan instrumen pengukuran yang tepat dan teknik pengumpulan data yang efektif. Selain itu, artikel ini juga membahas beberapa tantangan umum yang sering dihadapi oleh peneliti, seperti masalah dalam analisis data dan kebutuhan untuk memastikan keandalan dan validitas hasil penelitian. Dengan memahami strategi yang tepat dan memiliki pemahaman yang kuat tentang cara mengatasi tantangan yang mungkin timbul, diharapkan peneliti dapat melakukan penelitian kuantitatif dengan lebih efektif dan menghasilkan temuan yang lebih bermakna

Abstract

Research Originality: Islamicity performance reflects adherence to Sharia principles, which are fundamental to Islamic banking operations. Research that emphasizes the contribution of Islamicity performance to the stability of Islamic bank requires additional studies.Research Objectives: This research examines the influence of banks’ internal factors, Islamicity performance, and macroeconomic factors on the Islamic bank stability amidst the pandemic challenges using financial intermediation theory.Research Methods:A random effects test was performed on a balanced panel data covering the period of 2017.1-2023.3 on 10 Islamic banks continuously publishing quarterly financial reports.Empirical Results: Credit risk and eficiency affect stability. Higher expenses enhance stability during pandemic. Reserves for uncollectible debt reduce stability. Islamicity performance in profit-sharing financing may reduce stability. Economic growth and inflation negatively affect stability pre-pandemic. Interest rate and dummy variables have positive effects.Implications: These findings imply the significance of preemptive risk management, cost-effective operations, prudent reserves allocation, and regulatory compliance to enhance stability in Islamic bank across varying economic circumstances.JEL Classification: E4, G21, B22How to Cite:Amaroh, S., Masykuroh, E., Husnurrosyidah., & Ali, M., (2024). Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The implementation of Islamic teachings in economic activities cannot be separated from the socio-cultural influence of the local community. Thus, there are possible differences in the expression of Islamic teachings in the economic field, especially the practice of Islamic banks in the Countries of the Middle East region with Islamic banks in countries in the Southeast Asian region. Background Problems: This difference in practice can be caused by differences in the religious behavior of bankers and customers in terms of dimensions of knowledge, passion, practice and religious rituals that are influenced by the socio-cultural of each region so that it has an impact on the performance of each Islamic bank. Novelty: No comparative research on the performance of Islamic banks based on socio-cultural analysis has been found. Research Methods: this study was analyzed the performance of Islamic banks in the Middle East and Southeast Asia regions in 2015-2020 and analyze the relevance between banking performance and socio-culture in both regional groups. The research method used is a mixed quantitative and qualitative research method (Mix Method). Sampling techniques use purposive sampling. The sample in this study was the first Islamic banks established in those countries with the criterion that these banks present annual financial statements that have been audited by independent auditors. The analysis method uses quantitative methods: descriptive statistics, normality test, and Mann-Whitney U test as well as qualitative methods, namely analysis content. Finding/Results: Between Islamic banks in the Middle East and Southeast Asian countries in 2015-2020 there are differences in profitability performance, capital ratios, and liquidity, there is no difference in credit efficiency and effectiveness performance, there is relevance between socio-cultural differences and profitability performance, capital ratios, and liquidity between Islamic banks in the Countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia regions, and there is no relevance between socio-cultural differences and the performance of credit efficiency and effectiveness between Islamic banks in the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia regions.

Abstract

The phenomenon of competition and the emergence of many campuses with various study programs and the lack of enthusiasts for zakat and waqf management study programs is a necessity for study programs to carry out marketing activities by formulating appropriate strategies. This research method is qualitative with data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study offer alternative marketing strategies for zakat and waqf management study programs, namely cost advantage, differentiation, and focus.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of community-based management of Sentono Genthong Tourism, which has positively contributed to the transformation of the village from underdeveloped to advanced status, as well as creating employment opportunities in the tourism sector. However, there are emerging dynamics, such as dating activities within the religious tourism area, which raise concerns due to their contradiction with the principle of protecting lineage (ḥifẓ al-nasl) in maqāṣid sharī‘ah. This study is field research using a qualitative approach conducted at Sentono Genthong Tourism in 2023. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and validated using source, method, and time triangulation. The data analysis was conducted inductively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that, in general, tourism management has fulfilled the principles of community-based tourism, although there are still shortcomings in the aspect of cross-cultural learning. Seven out of eleven principles of community-based tourism are closely aligned with maqāṣid sharī‘ah, particularly in the elements of protecting religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn), intellect (ḥifẓ al-ʿaql), life (ḥifẓ al-nafs), and wealth (ḥifẓ al-māl). However, the aspect of protecting lineage has not been optimally achieved. In conclusion, while tourism management has been effective and aligns with Sharia principles in several elements, there is a need to strengthen social supervision and visitor education to uphold religious values in this sacred tourism site.

Abstract

The phenomenon of scarcity of enthusiasts in zakat and waqf management study programs in almost all PTKIN in Indonesia compared to other majors/study programs, - it becomes a necessity for policy makers, especially majors/study programs to try to improve competitiveness by formulating appropriate strategies. The approach in strategy formulation uses multi-criteria analysis (MCA) and is analyzed with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) based on Porter's theory of competitiveness strategy which includes cost advantage, differentiation, and focus, by taking the research locus at IAIN Ponorogo is a necessity for study program policy makers to strive to increase competitiveness by formulating appropriate strategies. The performance approach in strategy formulation uses multi-criteria analysis (MCA) and analyzed by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results of this study offer alternative strategies to improve the competitiveness of zakat and waqf management study programs, namely cost advantages, differentiation, and focus where each strategy has advantages and disadvantages. However, the right alternative form of strategy is differentiation. Adanya fenomena kelangkaan peminat jurusan/program studi manajemen zakat dan wakaf di hampir seluruh PTKIN di Indonesia dibandingkan dengan jurusan/program studi yang lain, - menjadi suatu keniscayaan bagi pemangku kebijakan, khususnya jurusan/program studi untuk berupaya meningkatkan daya saing dengan cara merumuskan strategi-strategi yang tepat. Pendekatan dalam penyusunan strategi menggunakan analisis multi kriteria (MCA) dan dianalisis dengan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dengan berpijak dari teori strategi daya saing Porter yang meliputi keunggulan biaya, diferensiasi, dan focus dengan mengambil lokus penelitian di IAIN Ponorogo. Hasil penelitian ini menawarkan alternatif strategi untuk meningkatkan daya saing program studi manajemen zakat dan wakaf melalui keunggulan biaya, diferensiasi, dan fokus dimana masing-masing strategi memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Namun, bentuk alternatif strategi yang tepat pada saat ini adalah diferensiasi.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of product innovation and service quality on competitiveness with brand image as an intervening variable at Bank Syariah Indonesia Nganjuk Yos Sudarso Branch Office. This study uses a quantitative approach which uses primary data as a reference. The sample used is 100 respondents by making customers as respondents. The data collection technique used is using a questionnaire with the distribution carried out directly to customers. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling by using incidental sampling technique. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and path analysis. The results of the study show that the product innovation variable has a positive and significant effect on competitiveness, the service quality variable has an insignificant effect on competitiveness, the product innovation variable has a positive and significant effect on brand image, the service quality variable has a positive and significant effect on brand image, brand image has a positive and significant effect on competitiveness, brand image variables are not able to mediate the effect of product innovation variables on competitiveness, brand image variables are able to mediate the influence of service quality variables on competitiveness. Keywords: Competitiveness, Product Innovation, Service Quality, Brand Image Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inovasi produk dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap daya saing dengan brand image sebagai variabel intervening pada Bank Syariah Indonesia Kantor Cabang Nganjuk Yos Sudarso. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang mana menjadikan data primer sebagai rujukan. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 responden dengan menjadikan nasabah sebagai responden. Teknik pegumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan kuisoner dengan penyebaran yang dilakukan langsung terhadap nasabah. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobabilty sampling dengan menggunakan teknik insidental sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi berganda, uji hipotesis, dan analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Hasil pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel inovasi produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap daya saing, variabel kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap daya saing sebesar, variabel inovasi produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand image, variabel kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand image, variabel brand image berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap daya saing, variabel brand image tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh variabel inovasi produk terhadap daya saing, variabel brand image mampu memediasi pengaruh variabel kualitas pelayanan terhadap daya saing. Abstract

Introduction: This study examines the influence of financial literacy and attitudes on the financial management of FEBI IAIN Ponorogo students, with peers evaluated as a potential moderating factor. Amid increasing financial challenges in the digital era, understanding how peers influence students' financial behavior fills an important research gap. Research Methods: The research method was quantitative. The sample used was 100 respondents, obtained using the Slovin formula with a population of 2,684. The data collection technique was the use of questionnaires. Results: Financial literacy has a positive effect on financial management. Financial attitudes have a positive effect on financial management. Peers do not moderate the relationship between financial literacy and financial management. Peers cannot strengthen or weaken the relationship between financial literacy and financial management. Peers cannot strengthen or weaken the relationship between financial literacy and financial management. Conclusion: The findings highlight the importance of fostering financial literacy and positive attitudes among students, emphasizing the limited role of peers in shaping financial management behaviors.
