Abstract

Community Service (P2M) is a form of lecturer activity in contributing directly to the community. To support lecturers in the implementation is the Internal Service Grant Program. The Internal Grant Service Program is intended as a service activity in the context of fostering and directing lecturers to improve their ability in community service. The purpose of this study is to apply the Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE II) in the case of Lecturers Receiving Internal Service Grants. Assessment of P2M Grant proposals is still manual without a system to assist reviewers. To overcome these problems a Decision Support System (SPK) is needed which is expected to resolve the problem in granting an internal P2M Grant. Comparative analysis is only done to maintain the quality of community service at Graha Nusantara University, Padangsidimpuan. The application of the Promethee II method is expected to help reviewers in determining the prospective lecturers receiving the P2M Internal Grant

Abstract

This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The sample in this study was class VII (A and B) at Panusunan Achir Hasibuan Private MTs, totaling 40 students. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Two Stay Two Stray Cooperative learning model on Mathematical Problem Solving Ability in the Spss Statistics 22 program with a significance level of 5% and n=20 which is then compared against the r table to obtain a value of 0.444. rcount > rtable, namely (0.56 > 0.444) for the pretest and (0.528 > 0.444) for the posttest. The pretest results mean the experimental class and control class were 60.95 and 61.8 respectively. For the posttest results, the average score for the experimental class was 91.90 and the control class was 79.95. The pretest and posttest normality tests for the experimental class and control class have a sig > 0.05 and the homogeneity test has a sig > 0.05, so the experimental class and control class have homogeneous data conditions. For hypothesis testing, a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. For the N-gain Score test, the experimental class obtained an average value of 79.55% and the control class obtained an average value of 45.5%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the direct influence of the Inquiry Learning learning model to improve Mathematics learning outcomes for class VII Al-Yusufiah Huta Holbung Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is classroom action research using two cycles carried out in the second semester with material about lines and angles. The population in this study was 29 class VII students at the Al-Yusufiah Huta Holbung Islamic Boarding School. The class used as a sample is class VII-I of the Al-Yusufiah Huta Holbung Islamic Boarding School which will use the Inquiry Learning method assisted by student worksheets (LKS) in learning. The ability of students' learning outcomes in mathematics learning in class VII-I of the Al-Yusufiah Huta Holbung Islamic Boarding School on lines and angles in the first cycle increased by 55% with the "sufficient" category, then in the second cycle it increased to 86.21% with the "good" category. ”. The increase in teacher and student observation results on line and angle material in cycle I averaged 71.5% (adequate) observation results. the results of the second cycle of observations were 77.5% (Good).

Abstract

The research method used is classroom action research utilizing two cycles conducted in the second semester with the material of Geometry and Spatial Structures using the Project-Based Learning approach. The sample in this study is students in class VIII^1 at SMP Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan, totaling 32 students. The results of the study indicate that the interest in learning Mathematics through the Project-Based Learning method among grade VIII^1 students at SMP Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan in the 2023/2024 academic year increased. This can be seen from the increase in the average initial test score of 57.34%. The students’ learning interest test scores in cycle I meeting I were 66.6 and in meeting II were 80 with an average score of 73.3%. In cycle II meeting III, the students’ learning interest test scores were 86.6 and in meeting IV were 100 with an average score of 93.3%. Meanwhile, the results of the teacher’s observations in cycle I meeting I were 66.6 and in meeting II were 79.1 with an average score of 72.85. In cycle II meeting II, the teacher’s observation results were 83.33 and in cycle IV were 95.83 with an average score of 89.55%.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is due to the limited learning resources that support the development of creative thinking in mathematics, which is an essential skill in the 21st century. This research aims to develop an interactive E-LKPD based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) that is valid, practical and effective in facilitating creative mathematical thinking skills in junior high school students.. The method used is research and development (R&D) by applying the 4-D model which includes the stages of defining, designing (design), development, and dissemination. The resulting product was tested for validity by a team of material and design experts with an average score of 3.28, and its practicality and effectiveness were assessed through student and teacher responses with an average total practical score of 3.5. Evaluation of improving mathematical creative thinking abilities using PjBL-based E-LKPD shows an average score of 80.86, which is included in the very high category with a completeness level reaching 89.65%. Thus, the PjBL-based E-LKPD is suitable for use because it meets the criteria of being valid, practical and effective. The implication of this research is the need for further development of the model used to produce products that are higher quality and more effective in supporting the creative mathematical learning process.Urgensi penelitian ini dikarenakan masih terbatasnya sumber belajar yang mendukung pengembangan berpikir kreatif dalam matematika, yang merupakan keterampilan esensial di abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD interaktif berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan mengaplikasikan model 4-D yang meliputi tahapan pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Produk yang dihasilkan diuji melalui validitas oleh tim ahli materi dan desain dengan skor rata-rata 3,28, serta kepraktisan dan keefektivannya yang dinilai melalui respon peserta didik dan guru dengan rata-rata total nilai praktis 3,5. Evaluasi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis menggunakan E-LKPD berbasis PjBL menunjukkan skor rata-rata 80,86, yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi dengan tingkat ketuntasan mencapai 89,65%. Dengan demikian, E-LKPD berbasis PjBL layak digunakan karena telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pengembangan lebih lanjut pada model yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk yang lebih berkualitas tinggi dan efektif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran kreatif matematis.
