Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the Effect of Character Education on the Emotional Intelligence of Medicom Informatics and Computer Academy Students. This study uses two variables consisting of one dependent variable, namely Emotional Intelligence (Y), while the independent variable is Character Education (X1). The type of research used is explanatory research through associative research, namely research that aims to explain the influence of two or more variables. The sample in this study was 140 people. The data collection method was carried out through questionnaires and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out by testing data quality (validity and reliability), the classic assumption test, the t test (partial test), and the F test (simultaneous test). The results of this study showed that The Effect of Character Education on the Emotional Intelligence of Medicom Informatics and Computer Academy Students is positive, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.749 and a determination coefficient (Rsquare) of 0.561. This means that Character Formation (Y) is influenced by 56% of Character Education.

Abstract

PT Perkebunan Nusantara III or often called PTPN III (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise engaged in the management, and processing of plantation products such as Palm Oil, Rubber, Sugar Cane, Tea, Coffee, Cocoa, Tobacco, and several other plants that are also produced by PTPN. The problem underlying this research is whether the recruitment, selection, job placement policies simultaneously and partially affect and are significant to the effectiveness of performance at PTPN III. The method used is quantitative method, while the data collection techniques in this study were carried out by questionnaire and distributing questions to respondents as many as 82 respondents, From the results of the F test simultaneously Recruitment, Selection, and Placement of Employees tested have an effect and are significant to the effectiveness of performance. Partial Test (t-test) shows that partially the variables of recruitment, selection, placement of employees have an effect and are significant to the effectiveness of performance at PTPN III. While in the Determination Test the amount of adjusted R square is 0.172 (17.2%), while the remaining 82.8% (100% - 17.2%) is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of job evaluation, training and supervision on the quality of employee performance of PT. Nutrihub Medan. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze how work evaluations are given to employees, how training is given to employees, how supervision is given to employees, and to find out how the e ffect of work evaluation, training and supervision simultaneously on the quality of employees performance of PT. Nutrihub Medan. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive research types. Sampling was carried out using a saturated sampling technique, with a total of 76 respondents. The calculation process is processed with the help of (SPSS) ver 24 for windows. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of this study, simultaneously the variables of work evaluation, training, and supervision have a significant effect on employee performance by 54.2%. The conclusion of this study is that work evaluation, training and supervision have a positive and significant effect on the quality of employee performance of PT. Nutrihub Medan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh promosi jabatan, kompensasi finansial dan lingkungan kerja terhadap turnover karyawan PTPN III. Menggunakan rumus slovin dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah 84 orang. Metode analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Pada pengujian data secara parsial variabel promosi jabatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover karyawan di PTPN III, kompensasi finansial berpengaruh kuat dan signifikan terhadap turnover karyawan PTPN III, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh kuat dan signifikan terhadap turnover karyawan PTPN III.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see Pengaruh Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan Net Profit Margin (NPM) Against the industrial share price of food and beverage subsector manufacturing companies on the IDX for the 2018-2021 period. The type of research used for this study is quantitative research, the source of data in this study is secondary research. The population of this study obtained 26 companies that were included in the listed criteria and 2 that did not include the criteria and listed companies were reduced by those that were not listed, the result was 24 and multiplied by 4 years to 96. The data collection technique used in this study was to use F test data and t test at a significant level of 5% and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of this study partially and simultaneously that variable X (Return on asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity ratio (DER), dan Net Profit Margin (NPM)) significant influence on variable Y (stock price).

Abstract

Perpustakaan merupakan fasilitas penting dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar di sekolah, namun pengelolaan perpustakaan yang masih dilakukan secara manual seringkali menghambat efisiensi dan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis komputer di SMK Grafika Bina Media Medan guna meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data perpustakaan, termasuk peminjaman, pengembalian, dan pembuatan laporan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pembangunan perangkat lunak Waterfall yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, pengkodean, dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan dapat mempercepat proses pengelolaan data, mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan, serta meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna dalam mengakses layanan perpustakaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan sistem informasi berbasis komputer dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam mengatasi masalah pengelolaan perpustakaan yang masih dilakukan secara manual, serta membuka peluang untuk peningkatan kualitas layanan di sekolah menengah kejuruan lainnya

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada masyarakat Mengenal Profesi Melalui Pembelajaran Praktis: Program Pengenalan Karier untuk Siswa/i Yapim Air Bersih telah membuktikan keberhasilannya dalam memberikan siswa/siswi pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang dunia karier. Dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak seperti dosen, mahasiswa, guru, dan profesional industri, program ini berhasil menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif dan inspiratif. Melalui serangkaian kegiatan seperti workshop, seminar, kunjungan industri, dan proyek kolaboratif, siswa/siswi tidak hanya memperoleh wawasan langsung tentang berbagai karier, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21 yang penting dalam dunia kerja saat ini.Dampak positif yang dihasilkan dari program ini tidak hanya terbatas pada pemahaman karier, tetapi juga pada kesiapan siswa/siswi dalam memilih jalur pendidikan dan karier yang sesuai dengan minat dan potensi mereka. Meskipun demikian, untuk meningkatkan dampak jangka panjangnya, penting untuk terus mengembangkan program ini dengan memperluas kemitraan industri, meningkatkan diversifikasi jenis karier yang diperkenalkan, dan melakukan evaluasi terhadap perkembangan siswa/siswi setelah mengikuti program. Dengan komitmen yang berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan dan evaluasi, program ini dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih besar dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda untuk menghadapi dunia kerja yang dinamis dan kompetitif.

Abstract

Program Kampus Mengajar merupakan salah satu bentuk pelaksanaan Merdeka Belajar (MBKM) yang berupa asistensi mengajar untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa dalam membantu proses pembelajaran disekolah dasar diberbagai Desa/Kota, salah satunya adalah SD Negeri 175788 Janji Pusuk, yang beralamat di Janji Hutanapa, Kec. Parlilitan, Kab. Humbang Hasundutan Prov. Sumatera Utara. Kebaruan dalam penelitian ini diadakan pretest dan postest (AKM kelas)  untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa. dan Pada program ini, mahasiswa yang terlibat memiliki tanggung jawab dalam membantu pihak sekolah pada proses belajar mengajar, membantu adaptasi teknologi, dan membantu administrasi sekolah. Selain itu, mahasiswa memiliki tanggung jawab dalam meningkatkan Literasi dan Numerasi terutama saat pandemik dimana pendidikan di Indonesia bisa terbilang mundur dan harus dikejar untuk memajukannya kembali. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa di  SD Negeri 175788 Janji Pusuk  yang berjumlah 45 orang. Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, obesrvasi dan dokumentasi.   Hasil program ini yakni sebagai penanaman empati dan kepekaan sosial pada diri mahasiswa terhadap permasalahan kehidupan masyarakat yang ada disekitarnya terutama bidang pendidikan, mengasah keterampilan dan problem solving dalam bekerja sama lintas bidang ilmu dan ragam asal mahasiswa, mengembangkan wawasan, karakter dan soft skil mahasiswa serta meningkatkan peran dan kontribusi nyata perguruan tinggi dan mahasiswa dalam pembagunan nasional. Selama 4 bulan kegiatan Kampus Mengajar meningkatkan rasa percaya diri mahasiswa, pemecahan maslah yang baik, kemampuan berkomunikasi yang baik dan dampaknya terhadap hasil numerasi dan literasi  siswa terlihat dari hasil AKM kelas ada peningkatan 30% numerasi dan 35% literasi.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in vocational high schools (SMK) is often dominated by conventional methods that make students passive and less able to connect theory with practice, especially on abstract topics such as franchising. This study aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based entrepreneurship e-Module that is interactive, contextual, and oriented toward vocational learning. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the study involved 100 grade XI students at SMK Negeri 6 Medan. Data were collected through expert validation, questionnaires, observations, interviews, and pre- and post-tests. The validation results placed the e-Module in the highly valid category (>80%), while the N-gain test showed a significant increase in the experimental class (0.83; high category) compared to the control class (0.32; low category). The t-test also confirmed a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two groups. In addition, observations indicated improvements in student motivation, engagement, and understanding, as well as greater ease for teachers in delivering abstract material. These findings demonstrate that AR integration in entrepreneurship e-Modules can effectively bridge theory and practice, enhance learning quality in vocational schools, and support the achievement of SDG 4 on quality education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Kampus Mengajar Program in enhancing students' learning motivation at SDN 175788 Janji Pusuk and SDN 177669 Onan Ganjang in the digital era. The Kampus Mengajar Program is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, involving university students as teachers to assist elementary school students. In the context of the digital era, this program is expected to utilize technology to improve the quality of learning and student motivation. The research employs a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaire, observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study include students, mentor teachers, and school principals. The data obtained are analyzed descriptively to illustrate the implementation of the program and its impact on students' learning motivation. In conclusion, the Kampus Mengajar Program is effective in improving students' learning motivation at SDN 175788 Janji Pusuk and SDN 177669 Onan Ganjang, particularly through the utilization of digital technology in the learning process. Recommendations from this study include the need for further support from schools and the government to expand access to technology and training for teachers and students, in order to maximize the potential of this program in enhancing the quality of education in the digital era.
