Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the fluctuations of rice price and rice marketing margin changes over time in Indonesia as well as examine the causes of these changes. The method used in this research is the empirical method that uses statistical and econometric analysis tool in the classification of time series models. Data are obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the secondary data are monthly data of dry milled grain price in producer level and rice price in consumer level from 2008 to 2015. The analysis showed the rice price that uses real price data both at the level of producer and consumer are showed an upward trend. It means beside inflation, there is another factor that caused the rising of rice prices. The rice price in Indonesia tends to increase every year, it is also seemed to fluctuate over time, with a larger price fluctuations at the farm level than consumer level. The rice price in producer and consumer level did not move with the same pattern in 2014, this led to the difference marketing margins among the time. Differences rice marketing margin is due to the structure of the rice market in Indonesia is imperfectly competitive market or tend to oligopsony / oligopoly, in the market of rice trader is a price maker while rice farmers and consumers are price takers.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the increase of rice production, income, and resource efficiency (land, labor, and capital use) of minapadi applicating ?jajar legowo? plant spacing, a case in Sirnasari Village, Sariwangi Sub-District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The survey method was used in the research. 35 minapadi farmers applicating the jajar legowo plant spacing and 8 minapadi farmers implementing the tegel plant spacing were taken as samples from a population size of 78 farmers. Comparative descriptive analysis was used to determine differences in production, income and resources efficiency (the use of land, labor, and capital). Unpaired t-test was used to test differences in rice production and farmers? income applicating the jajar legowo and tegel plant spacing. The results showed that minapadi applicating the jajar legowo plant spacing increased rice production, fish production, and farmers' income by 18.25, 32, and 40 percent respectively. The resources use of land, labor, and capital in minapadi applicating the jajar legowo plant spacing was more efficient than that of applicating the tegel plant spacing.

Abstract

Most of Indonesia's population depend on agriculture. Agriculture is the basis for growth in the countryside. Horticultural company is a company form of business or legal entity that is engaged in the cultivation or breeding and marketing of vegetables, fruit, and ornamental plants. The research design used quantitative descriptive technique and take a case in Horticultural Company incorporated in the province of West Java. Informants research is the founder of 35 businesses horticultural businesses. Respondents were selected by simple random samplingmethod Solvin. Data were analyzed with path analysis, the business environment variables, entrepreneurial character, the ability of businesses and business improvement. Character of business founders age at age less than 54 years, including age. Average of the last education strata 1 (undergraduate). A conducive business environment and the higher the entrepreneurial character can give the effect of an increase in the ability of the business. Theseeffects are direct and indirect, of the path of the business environment 78.3%, 19.2% and entrepreneurial character. The effects of both variables 83.7% with 4% residual business capabilities and 16.3% influenced by other variables that are not covered.

Abstract

RS X Depok merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri dan membutuhkan bahan pangan beras, telur ayam, wortel, buncis, labu siam, melon, pepaya, semangka untuk keberhasilan produksi pengolahan makanan rumah sakit. Selama ini manajemen persediaan bahan pangan di RS X Depok dilakukan berdasarkan estimasi pemesanan sebelumnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kuantitas pemesanan persediaan dan frekuensi pemesanan yang dibutuhkan RS X Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dan teknik penelitian studi kasus dengan memaparkan pengendalian persediaan bahan pangan yang diterapkan perusahaan kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan metode EOQ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengendalian persediaan bahan pangan di RS X Depok belum optimal karena besarnya frekuensi pemesanan dan jumlah pemesanan dilakukan sedikit demi sedikit. Solusi bagi RS X Depok adalah menggunakan perhitungan metode EOQ. Di RS X Depok tidak terjadi kehabisan persediaan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan produksi karena persediaan masih tersedia saat dibutuhkan. Perhitungan menggunakan metode EOQ memperlihatkan hasil bahwa pada masing-masing bahan pangan yang diteliti terjadi kenaikan jumlah pemesanan dalam satu kali pesan dan penurunan jumlah frekuensi pemesanan dalam satu tahun.

Abstract

Advancements in technology and information drive changes in economic activity, one of which is marked by the emergence of electronic marketplace applications. Electronic marketplace applications specifically for food products are not growing rapidly compared to other electronic marketplace applications, including Agree Mart. This study extends the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory and user trust to determine the behavior of Agree Mart application users. This study aims to describe the behavior of users of the Agree Mart electronic marketplace application. This study uses a quantitative method assisted by the application of SMART PLS 4 with descriptive analysis techniques and simple random sampling techniques. The respondents of this study were 72 respondents who were users of the Agree Mart application. The results showed that the level of acceptance of electronic marketplace technology for food products was in a good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the added value, profit, and efficiency of the melon business at the Manba'ul Ulum Jamanis Islamic Boarding School. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using primary data through observation, interviews and documentation, and secondary data in the form of scientific journals and literature studies. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that islamic boarding schools get a profit of Rp. 2,334,433.66 from all marketing channels that are passed. The marketing channel that generates the highest profit is modern retail through Asia Plaza and Borma Dakota. Based on the B/C analysis of the melon business at the Manba'ul Ulum Jamanis Islamic Boarding School is efficient with a value of 0.125 with the marketing channel that has the highest efficiency, namely e-commerce of 0.29.
