Abstract

Kajian utama yang dijadikan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai prestasi kerja Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data angket. Teknik pengelolaan data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi dan regresi. Uji signifikansi menggunakan uji-t dan uji-F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif tetapi tidak signifikan budaya organisasi terhadap prestasi kerja UKS (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif tetapi tidak signifikan komunikasi organisasi terhadap prestasi kerja UKS (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif tetapi tidak signifikan budaya organisasi dan komunikasi organisasi secara simultan terhadap prestasi kerja UKS. Bertolak dari kondisi tersebut penulis menyarankan, bahwa: (1) Berkaitan dengan budaya organisasi, hal yang dianggap urgen untuk segera diperbaiki adalah keberanian anggota UKS untuk berinovasi dalam proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaan agar target UKS dapat tercapai lebih maksimal. Sosialisasi merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat dilaksanakan untuk menanamkan dan memberikan pemahaman nilai-nilai budaya organisasi dan program-program yang dicanangkan kepada anggota sehingga dapat mendukung tercapainya tujuan individu dan tujuan organisasi. (2) Dalam rangka mendukung peningkatan prestasi kerja melalui perbaikan komponen komunikasi agar lebih komunikatif dan transparan. Informasi dan gagasan harus bisa lebih lancar secara timbal balik baik dari atas ke bawah (downward) atau dari bawahan kepada atasan (upward).

Abstract

This research has been carried out and analyzed by taking the main focus on the ability and behavior of teachers and their impact on the quality of education services. The method used is the explanatory survey method where the author went directly to the empirical level by spreading the questionnaire to 40 teachers at the State Elementary School. The technique of processing and analysis used is regression. The results showed that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence ability of teachers on the quality of education services at the State Elementary School. The amount of influence of the teacher's ability on the quality of education service is 32.1%. (2) There is a positive but less significant effect of teacher behavior on the quality of education service at the State Elementary School. The amount of influence of teacher behavior on the quality of education service is 3.7%. (3) There is a positive and significant influence teacher's ability and teacher's behavior together towards the quality of education service. The amount of influence of teacher ability and teacher behavior simultaneously on the quality of education service is 32,6%. Moving from the conclusion of the research that has been stated above, humbly the writer suggest that: (1) The result of research has shown that operationally both teacher ability and teacher behavior and quality of education service have been quite good. But as the development of community demands in the future it should not be satisfied until the present condition. It is recommended that the principal together with the teacher continue to improve the quality of education services in a sustainable manner with the development of teachers through participation in scientific forums so that the knowledge, insight and ability of teachers can keep abreast of developments. (2) It can be proved that both the ability and behavior of teachers affect the quality of education services. Therefore, to always maintain or improve the quality of education services that can be started by improving the ability and behavior of teachers through special attention to the needs and desires of consumers.

Abstract

In general, teachers work to get satisfaction in carrying out their work. Satisfaction at work encourages the emergence of enthusiasm in work so that it tends to perform well. Many factors affect job satisfaction, including career development support and empowerment by the principal. The focus of the research is on how much the contribution of career development support and empowerment by the principal to teacher job satisfaction. The research method used is descriptive and verification methods, with data collection techniques using a Likert scale questionnaire, to the teacher. Processing of research results using regression analysis techniques. The significance test uses the F-test. The results showed that: (1) There was a positive and significant contribution of career development support to teacher job satisfaction. (2) There is a positive and significant contribution of empowerment by the principal to job satisfaction. (3) There is a positive and significant contribution to the support of career development and empowerment by the principal simultaneously to teacher job satisfaction. Considering that job satisfaction is very important in order to increase work motivation and school productivity, teachers as the most members of the education unit should be given even greater opportunities to grow followed by adequate funding assistance so that their careers develop more in the hope that teachers feel more satisfied at work. It is recommended to give more responsibility to the teacher so that the teacher unconsciously enters the empowerment process. Teachers should be alternately assigned to manage various activities with the authority to make decisions with the permission of the school principal. It is hoped that the teacher will develop his insight and confidence, which in turn can increase the level of satisfaction at work.

Abstract

This research was conducted in three State Vocational High Schools at Indramayu sub-district and Sindang sub-district. The issue became a study in this research is not optimal teacher job satisfaction including the working conditions and conditions that do not match expectations, comfort in work and relationships with superiors. Focused directed at factors that influenced teacher job satisfaction. Principles of leadership function and organizational climate are the factors that thought to have influence on the teachers job satisfaction. Therefore the study examines three variables, namely the principles of leadership function (X1), organizational climate (X2) and teachers job satisfaction (Y). This research used descriptive and verification methods. Data collection techniques used question form. The respondents were civil servants of The State Vocational High School 1 Indramayu, State Vocational High School 2 Indramayu and State Vocational High School 1 Sindang as many as 87 people. The data technique analyzed using the regression. The result of the data analysis revealed that the principles of leadership function included in very good category, organizational climate in very good category, meanwhile teachers job satisfaction at The State Vocational High School 1 Indramayu, State Vocational High School 2 Indramayu and State Vocational High School 1 Sindang included in very good category. Based on the analyzed of regression, the result revealed that the principles of leadership function and organizational climate are both partially and simultaneously, has a positive and significant influence toward teacher job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and examine the influence of principal's leadership and teacher’s professional competency toward students’ learning achievement. The research method was descriptive and verification methods, with a Likert scale questionnaire as data collection techniques distributed to 54 teachers. Regression analysis technique was used in processing the research result with F-Test as the significance test. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive but less significant effect between the leadership of the principal on students’ achievement. (2) There is a positive and significant influence between the professional competencies of teacher on students’ achievement. (3) There is a positive and significant influence between the principal's leadership and teacher professional competence simultaneously on the learning achievement. Starting from these conditions, the authors suggest, that: (1) Principals are expected to be able to implement their mission more optimally by involving teachers in the preparation of vision and mission as well as improving their socialization programs to have whole understanding from all elements in the school (2) Teachers should learn more and comply with ethics code by attending the MGMP discussion and PGRI meetings. The teachers also have to maximize and enrich their teaching materials, by reading more journals and books in accordance with their fields and delving more insight from the internet.

Abstract

Job satisfaction as a support for the implementation of teacher’s functional tasks is still lacking. Based on preliminary observations, it is thought that this was caused by the lack of the principal’s role and work motivation. Therefore, this study aims to uncover the influence of the principal's role and work motivation on the job satisfaction of public middle school teachers. The hypotheses of this study are: (1) The principal's role influence the job satisfaction of public middle school teachers, (2) The work motivation influence the job satisfaction of public middle school teachers, (3) Principal's role and work motivation together influence the job satisfaction of public middle school teachers. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach, correlational and regression techniques—data collection techniques through a Likert scale questionnaire of 59 respondents who are teachers of public middle school. The results of data analysis show that (1) the principal's role influences the job satisfaction of public middle school teachers, (2) Work motivation influences the job satisfaction of public middle school teachers, (3) Principal's role and work motivation together influences the job satisfaction of public middle school teachers. Based on these findings, the authors suggest that some improvement efforts can be made, especially in increasing teacher job satisfaction, including involving teachers in further education and providing encouragement to start creatively and achieving, mobilizing the learning outcome evaluation team, and following the development of science. , technology, and the arts, exemplify good models of learning and counselling.

Abstract

Abstract-Teacher is a link between the values upheld by the school and the community so that it places work ethic as an important element for teachers to have. Based on preliminary observations it is assumed that teacher's work ethic and principal’s managerial ability are still low, and the work climate is not conducive so that it will affect the achievement of school goals. Therefore, research is needed to test its truth. This study aims to uncover the correlation between the principal's managerial ability and work climate, either partially or simultaneously, with the work ethic of elementary school. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive - inferential statistical analysis of correlation techniques. Data collection techniques through a Likert scale questionnaire of 43 respondents who are elementary school teachers. The results of data analysis show that (1) the principal's managerial ability correlates with the work ethic of elementary school teacher, (2) Work climate correlates with the work ethic of elementary school teachers, (3) Principal's managerial ability and work climate together correlate with the work ethic of elementary school teachers. The author suggests, that one of the efforts that can be done is by coaching the participants through seminar participation that is not only on a national scale but also internationally. This is done as a means of broadening the insight and educational knowledge of teachers so that they are motivated to see work actions as a competitive process of achieving work. If these conditions can be carried out in a sustainable manner, it can increase the chances of improving the work ethic of teachers.

Abstract

Tujuannya penelitian ini yakni untuk menganalisis kontribusi implementasi pengelolaan sarana dan komunikasi organisasi baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap mutu pelayanan pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey-deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang sudah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Baik secara parsial maupun simultan implementasi pengelolaan sarana dan komunikasi organisasi memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap mutu pelayanan pendidikan. Bertolak dari hasil penelitian tersebut, penulis menyarankan: (1) Dalam rangka meningkatkan pelayanan terhadap peserta didik, agar kelengkapan sarana yang ada dioptimalkan kuantitas dan pemeliharaannya; (2) Pihak sekolah sebaiknya mengakomodir keluhan, saran, dan aspirasi masyarakat, agar pelayanan pada masyarakat makin meningkat, terutama yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan; (3) Selalu menjalin silaturahmi dan komunikasi dengan orang tua peserta didik dalam upaya secara bersama mendorong peningkatan mutu pelayanan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kontribusi lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran baik secara parsial maupun ganda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Populasi terdiri dari guru sekolah dasar yang berjumlah 183 orang. Penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin, dengan hasil perhitungan terdapat 65 orang guru sebagai responden Pengambilan sampel dengan cara simple random sampling yang diambil dari setiap sekolah secara proporsional. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Uji signifikansi menggunakan uji-F. Hasil penelitian diperoleh, bahwa: (1) Terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan, lingkungan kerja terhadap mutu pembelajaran; (2) Terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan, disiplin kerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran (3) Terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan, lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja guru secara simultan terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Mengingat lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja guru, maka dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran, kepala sekolah perlu membantu para guru dalam memahami secara benar konsep lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja guru, serta konsep mutu pembelajaran. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan dengan diikutsertakannya guru pada pelatihan profesi. Usahakan guru lebih intens mengikuti diskusi dan dinamika pada kelompok kerja guru (KKG).
