Abstract

The use of technology on computer devices in the teaching and learning process as a job support plays a very important role in an organization or school. The main function of this technological device is to increase efficiency in learning. Based on the above, Metamedia University lecturers helped find solutions to the above problems by holding community service activities, namely with the theme of using Video Scribe Sparkol as a medium for making assignments and training for SMA 3 Muhammadiyah Padang students. The purpose of this activity is for teachers to be able to make training materials for students, in order to make teaching more interesting, so that students' motivation increases and is able to eliminate boredom and train students' thinking levels from simple thinking to complex thinking. The method used in this training is in the form of lectures, training materials and questions and answers about the use of Scribe Sparkol's video features. The result of this training activity is that it can help students at SMA 3 Muhammadiyah in dealing with increasingly advanced technological developments, especially in maximizing the use of the features contained in the Scribe Sparkol video.

Abstract

This study explore the psychology of bias experienced stock investors when making an investment decision. The research method used is by an experimental design 2x5 factorial between subject.  Researchers conducted manipulation on two different treatment condition (good and regretful experience) to the stock investors which refers to the theory of regret aversion bias. The experiment using a web stock simulation with participans as many as 70 students who were divided according to their risk aversion. Other research instrumen use a questionnaire using a measurement scale of 1-5. The experiment results show that experienced regret affect subsequentthe next investment choices of  investors. There was no interaction between experience of regret with investors' risk aversion

Abstract

Media sosial merupakan perkembangan mutakhir dari teknologi-teknologi web baru berbasis internet, yang memudahkan semua orang untuk dapat berkomunikasi, berpartisipasi, saling berbagi dan membentuk sebuah jaringan secara online. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan kepada siswa-siswa peserta Pesantren Ramadhan tentang bagaimana menggunakan media sosial di internet agar dapat membentuk akhlak remaja yang baik dan bagaimana akhlak remaja ini dapat menghindari tawuran yang saat ini sedang marak terjadi di kalangan pelajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini ada 3 yaitu : (1) Metode ceramah, yaitu memberikan penjelasan tentang bagaimana sebaiknya akhlak remaja dalam bermedia sosial dan menghindari tawuran. (2) Metode sosialisasi, yaitu langsung bersosialisasi dengan peserta kegiatan tentang materi yang diberikan. (3) Metode tanya jawab, yaitu peserta diberikan waktu untuk bertanya yang berkaitan dengan materi yang diberikan. Pada kegiatan ini tim PkM juga memberikan sosialiasai tentang bagaimana memanfaatkan penggunaan internet secara positif, dan menghindari hal-hal yang negatif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para siswa peserta Pesantren Ramadhan memahami dan mengerti bagaimana akhlak yang baik dalam menggunakan media sosial dan bagaimana akhlak yang baik dalam menghindari tawuran yang sering terjadi dikalangan pelajar, serta dapat memanfaatkan penggunaan internet secara positif.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of literature reviews on disaster mitigation preparation during the Pandemic Covid-19 since 2019. Of the 780 articles selected 6 articles on this topic published in national and international journals between Mei 2019 and June 2021 were included in the review. These articles are written in different disaster contexts, including events related to weather (floods and storms), natural disasters (earthquakes and tsunamis), and other events (such as pandemics and terrorist attacks). The main themes that arise include lack of communication between stakeholders, media sensationalism, the importance of choosing the most effective marketing messages, lack of disaster management plans, image damage, and goal reputation, and changes in tourist behavior after a crisis and disaster. This review identifies ways to increase the speed and effectiveness of responses to disasters, the importance of marketing relationships with loyal customers, and the need to quickly improve the image of the goal. Suggestions for future research arising from this review include the urgent need to encourage tourism operators to be involved with crisis readiness and disaster management strategies and the importance of getting a better understanding of consumer responses to disaster events.

Abstract

Efforts made in preparing quality students, especially in developing technological science, understand in advance the challenges faced in the use of technology used today. Knowledge of the real challenges for educators in choosing the best technological tools, so that educators do not lose their teaching goals, and do not misunderstand students. This activity is proof of the seriousness of the Jabal Nur SPN Padang Besi Teenagers in realizing their commitment to quality Youth. Therefore this PkM teaches students to understand the challenges of using technology in the 4.0 era. This activity needs a modules related to the challenges of using technology in the 4.0 era, and enrichment from quizzes online adapted to the PkM material. The activity phase that has been carried out in this community service activity is to provide integrated training so that teenagers at the Jabal Nur SPN Padang Besi Mosque can understand, understand and prepare and improve quality in the challenges of using technology in Era 4.0. The results of this service students take tests and find out the results of tests carried out through quizzes online. The next plan is to assign tasks and evaluate the tasks that have been given by the implementing team

Abstract

The very rapid development of information technology has made websites an inseparable part of an educational institution as well as services for the academic community, lecturers, students and education staff. One of the learning applications used for continuity of learning is E-Assignment. E-Assignment is a learning media application that functions to collect and assess student assignments online. The problem that occurs is that there are still students who are not satisfied with using the E-Assignment application. The aim of this research is to analyze and measure the quality of E-Assignment in the lecture process among Metamedia University students. The method used to measure the quality of the E-Assignment website is WebQual 4.0. This research was carried out by utilizing research instruments based on three groups of WebQual 4.0 indicators and then distributing them to students of the Information Systems study program. WebQual 4.0 is an instrument that assesses the quality of a website from the end user's perspective. The tools and applications used to test the relationship between variables from WebQual 4.0 and user satisfaction are SPSS 20 and Matlab. The research results show that the overall score for the WebQual 4.0 indicator obtained is 69% in the Good category, so that users assess that the E-Assignment application is quality as a web learning medium in higher education. Abstract

Kampung Akrilik merupakan salah satu dari Kampung Tematik yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah. Kampung Tematik adalah sebuah inovasi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk mengatasi kemiskinan dan pemerataan pembangunan. Permasalahan yang terjadi di Kampung Akrilik, tepatnya di ZhaiZha Accesories antara lain belum adanya fasilitas untuk mempromosikan produk kerajinan kampung akrilik dan minimnya pengetahuan pengrajin produk Kampung Akrilik tentang cara mempromosikan produknya di media sosial secara teknik digital. Solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah perlunya dibangun website yang berfungsi untuk pemasaran produk dalam bentuk aplikasi e-commerce. Metode yang digunakan dalam membangun aplikasi e-commerce ini adalah Systems Development Life Cycle (SLDC) dengan model waterfall, dengan alat bantu perancangan sistem UML. Metode yang digunakan untuk pemasaran produk adalah metode Cross Selling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi e-commerce yang dapat membantu dalam pemasaran produk kampung akrilik, sekaligus sebagai fasilitas dalam mempromosikan produk melalui media website. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengamati pentingnya strategi pemasaran digital yang efektif bagi pelaku bisnis di era digital yang kompetitif. Meningkatnya bisnis online, pemahaman mendalam tentang perilaku dan preferensi konsumen menjadi krusial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas digital marketing dalam meningkatkan penjualan dan brand awareness menggunakan metode marketing funnel. Data diambil sebanyak 200 sampel customer dari 10 sampel toko yang akan dianalisis dengan SPSS untuk mendapatkan wawasan mendalam. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis deskriptif dan eksploratif melalui survei, wawancara, dan analisis statistik. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menghasilkan artikel ilmiah untuk jurnal bereputasi, serta model teoretis dan praktis yang membantu pelaku bisnis merancang dan mengevaluasi strategi pemasaran digital secara efektif. Model ini akan memberikan panduan komprehensif bagi akademisi dan praktisi di bidang digital marketing

Abstract

Savings and loan cooperatives are essential for advancing financial inclusion, especially in rural communities. However, many cooperatives still rely on manual or semi digital systems such as spreadsheets to manage member data and financial transactions. This condition results in low efficiency, delayed reporting, limited transparency, and frequent recording errors. This study aims to design and implement a web based cooperative information system to address operational inefficiencies at Korong Gadang Cooperative in West Sumatra, Indonesia, which serves over 120 active members. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which emphasizes iterative prototyping and user involvement to accelerate development. The process consisted of three stages: requirements planning, system design and construction, and implementation. Modules include member management, savings and loan transactions, financial reporting, and an interactive dashboard. Black Box Testing was used to validate functionality, and user feedback was collected from 12 cooperative staff through questionnaires. The results show significant improvements in performance. Report preparation time decreased from 3–5 days to just 1 day. The system also enhanced data accuracy and transparency, enabling members and staff to access transaction information in real time. In conclusion, the web based cooperative information system developed with the RAD method has proven effective in improving efficiency and accountability. The system can be adopted by similar small-scale cooperatives with basic digital infrastructure. Future development may include mobile access, integration with payment systems, and analytical features to support data driven decisions.

Abstract

Abstract: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting the national economy; however, they continue to face challenges in management and digital marketing. Keripik Balado Uni Yen, a local MSME engaged in the traditional Minangkabau snack industry, experiences obstacles in expanding its market due to limited product innovation and reliance on conventional methods of promotion and sales. This condition has led to stagnant sales performance and low managerial efficiency, indicating the need for strategic efforts to enhance business capacity. This community service program aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the MSME through the development of product packaging integrated with a QR code and a point of sale system based on a website and digital cashier machine, while also promoting digital marketing adoption. The program was implemented using a participatory approach involving training, technical assistance, and continuous monitoring and evaluation of technology implementation. Digital marketing through social media proved effective in expanding market reach and increasing sales by up to 40%. Overall, the program demonstrates that integrating innovative packaging, digital systems, and online marketing serves as an effective strategy to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of local MSMEs. Keywords: digital marketing; innovation QR code packaging; point of sales; MSMEs Abstrak: UMKM memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung perekonomian nasional, namun masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam aspek manajemen dan pemasaran digital. UMKM Keripik Balado Uni Yen merupakan UMKM lokal yang bergerak di industri makanan olahan khas Minang, menghadapi tantangan dalam memperluas pasar akibat keterbatasan inovasi produk serta masih mengandalkan metode konvensional dalam promosi dan penjualan. Kondisi ini berdampak pada stagnasi penjualan dan rendahnya efisiensi manajerial, sehingga diperlukan upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kapasitas usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM melalui pengembangan kemasan produk yang dilengkapi kode QR dan terintegrasi dengan sistem point of sale berbasis website dan mesin kasir digital, serta mendorong digitalisasi pemasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui pelatihan, pendampingan teknis, serta monitoring dan evaluasi implementasi teknologi. Pemasaran digital melalui media sosial juga terbukti efektif memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan penjualan hingga 40%. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi inovasi kemasan, sistem digital, dan pemasaran daring merupakan strategi efektif untuk memperkuat daya saing dan kemandirian UMKM lokal secara berkelanjutan.
