Abstract

This study aims to analyze; (1) the effect of human capital investment which includes education (primary education, secondary education, tertiary education) and health variables on labor productivity growth in Indonesia (2) the effect of physical capital investment as proxied by Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) on labor productivity growth  in Indonesia (3) the effect of human capital investment and physical capital investment on labor productivity growth in Indonesia. The data used is secondary data from 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2016-2020 obtained from related institutions. This study uses panel data regression with the Common Effect Model approach. The results show that (1) human capital investment which includes education variables (primary education, secondary education, tertiary education) and health, each has a positive and significant effect on labor productivity growth in Indonesia (2) physical capital investment as a proxy for Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) has a negative and insignificant effect on labor productivity growth in Indonesia (3) investment in human capital and physical capital together has a significant effect on labor productivity growth in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of farming risk on lowland rice productivity in Padang Pariaman. Variables used to assist farming risk are water availability, floods, landslides, river abrasion and rice pests. This research is descriptive and associative. The data used is secondary data from 2018 to 2020 obtained from related institutions. With the panel data regression model, the selected model is the Fixed Effect Model. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the availability of water, the potential for flooding, the potential for landslides, the potential for river abrasion, and the level of pest attack on rice have a significant effect on rice productivity in Padang Pariaman. Furthermore, partially (1) water has a significant effect on 10% alpha and has a positive effect on lowland rice productivity in Padang Pariaman; (2) The potential for flood disaster has a significant effect on the 10% error and has a negative effect on the productivity of lowland rice in Padang Pariaman; (3) The potential for landslides has a significant and negative effect on the productivity of lowland rice in Padang Pariaman; (4) The potential for river abrasion does not have a significant and positive effect on the productivity of lowland rice in Padang Pariaman; (5) The level of pest attack has no significant and positive effect on the productivity of lowland rice in Padang Pariaman.

Abstract

This study aim to determine; (1) the influence of customer characteristics (2) business characteristics (3) credit characteristics on credit with particular attention to PT. Pegadaian Area Padang. This is because every credit, especially micro, cannot be separated from credit risk. Special mention loans are loans that have problems with payments within ninety days and below, and are measured in percentages of LAR (Loan At Risk). Allowing risky credit can lead to credit status to the next stage, namely NPL (Non-Performing Loan) and this will undoubtedly erode the profits of a financial institution. This study uses Ordinary Least Square assisted by Stata 14 software. The results of this study show (1) customer characteristics with indicators of the number of dependents have a positive and significant influence on credit in special attention (2) business characteristics with indicators of the length of business have a negative influence and significant to credit in special mention (3) credit characteristics with term indicators, have a positive and significant influence on the occurrence of credit in special mention.

Abstract

Ibu rumah tangga memiliki peran dan potensi yang sangat strategis dalam mendukung program pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia. Karena itu, program pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga dalam bidang ekonomi perlu dimaksimalkan dan dilakukan secara berkesinambungan, melalui program-program usaha peningkatan pendapatan keluarga sejahtera (UPPKS) yang bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan peran serta ibu rumah tangga dalam mengisi waktu luangnya untuk meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga Keberadaan ibu rumah tangga, yang memiliki waktu luang setelah menyelesaikan urusan rumah tangga, menimbulkan pemikiran bahwa ada potensi ibu rumah tangga yang belum tergali secara maksimal. Untuk mencari alternatif solusi pemecahan masalah di atas, maka diadakan pelatihan pengolahan pangan bagi ibu rumah tangga guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga di RT 002/RW III dan RT 002/RW XV Jl. Muhajirin Tunggul Hitam Kota Padang. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan ibu-ibu rumah tangga dapat mengaplikasikan Ilmu yang didapat dalam pemanfaatan waktu luang melalui penglahan pangan yang bernilai gizi dan ekonomis. Disamping itu, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk mengurangi pengeluaran rumah tangga karena bisa membuat olahan makanan bergizi di rumah. Khalayak yang menjadi sasaran kegiatan pengabdian adalah ibu-ibu rumah tangga di wilayah pemukiman RT 002/RW III dan RT 002/RW XV Jl. Muhajirin Tunggul Hitam Kota Padang. Tim Pengabdian pada Masyarakat mengundang 20 orang ibu rumah tangga untuk mengikuti pelatihan pengolahan pangan yang bergizi dan bernilai ekonomis

Abstract

The purpose of this research was conducted to analyze: (1) To what extent does the number of people affect open-mindedness in Indonesia, (2) To what extent does education influence open-sensitivity in Indonesia, (3) To what extent does open inequality affect responsiveness in Indonesia, (4) To what extent does population, education and income inequality influence open resistance in Indonesia. This research is a descriptive and inductive type of research. The data used is secondary panel data for 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2017-2021 obtained from related institutions and then analyzed using panel regression models and Random Effect selection models. The results of the study show that simultaneously, the influence of population, education and income inequality has a significant influence on open response in Indonesia. Furthermore, partially (1) population has a positive and insignificant effect on open responses in Indonesia. (2) Education has a positive and significant effect on open response in Indonesia. (3) Inequality has a positive and insignificant effect on open responses in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how gender equality in the fields ofeducation, health, and per capita expenditure on the economy of pro-genderregions in districts / cities in West Sumatra. This type of research isquantitative research, the data used is panel data, namely from 19 districts /cities in West Sumatra in 2017-2022, which is secondary data obtained fromthe Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results showed that: 1) theclassification of gender equality in the field of education on the regionaleconomy there are 9 regions in developed areas that are pro-gender, 2 regionsin potential areas that are pro-gender, 4 in developing areas that are not progenderand 4 regions in underdeveloped areas that are not pro-gender. 2) Theclassification of gender equality in the health sector has the results that thereare 6 regions in developed areas that are pro-gender, 6 regions in potentialareas that are pro-gender, 7 regions in developing areas that are not progenderand there are no regions in underdeveloped areas that are not progender.3) The classification of gender equality in the field of per capitaexpenditure has the results of 7 regions in developed areas that are pro-gender,1 region in a potential area that is pro-gender, 6 regions in developing areasthat are not pro-gender and 4 regions in underdeveloped areas that are notpro-gender.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of: (1) GDPR growth rate, (2) open unemployment rate, and (3) average length of schooling on urban poverty levels. This research uses secondary data with a quantitative type of panel data research, namely a combination of 2015-2022 time series data and cross section data from 34 provinces in Indonesia. This research uses the panel data regression method. The results of the regression analysis show that: (1) the rate of GRDP has a positive and significant effect on the level of urban poverty in Indonesia, (2) the level of open unemployment has a positive and significant effect on the level of urban poverty, and (3) the average number of years of schooling is over the age of 15 year has a significant negative effect on urban poverty levels in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between demographic dynamics and economic growth across islands in Indonesia consisting of the island of Sumatera, Java, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Maluku-Papua from 2014 to 2023. Specifically, this study investigates the impact of productive-age population growth, dependency ratio, and capital growth on economic growth between island in Indonesia. Using panel data analysis with the Random Effect Model (REM) approach, the study findings reveal that the increase in the productive-age population and capital growth partialy has a not significant negative effect on between island in Indonesia economic growth. Meanwhile, the dependency ratio also has a negative effect on economic growth in Indonesia, although the impact is significant. Among these regions, Kalimantan shows the strongest economic performance, while the islands of Bali and Nusa Tenggara face the greatest challenges in utilizing their demographic dividends. These findings offer policy insights to optimize Indonesia's demographic transition.

Abstract

Korupsi masih menjadi tantangan besar di Indonesia, yang berdampak pada berbagai sektor masyarakat dan berpengaruh terhadap ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi korupsi dengan menganalisis pengaruh antara demokrasi, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), dan tata kelola pemerintahan terhadap persepsi korupsi di Indonesia dari tahun 2009 hingga 2023.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-induktif dengan menggunakan data time series. Data sekunder dari lembaga-lembaga seperti Badan Pusat Statistik, Transparency International, dan Bank Dunia. Analisis regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk menyelidiki hubungan antar variabel bebas dengan Indeks Persepsi Korupsi (IPK) sebagai variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa demokrasi memiliki dampak positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap persepsi korupsi, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) menunjukkan hubungan negatif tetapi tidak signifikan dengan korupsi. Sedangkan, tata kelola pemerintahan menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara statistik terhadap persepsi korupsi. Studi ini menemukan bahwa 59,16% variasi korupsi dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel bebas, sedangkan sisanya 40,84% disebabkan oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun proses demokrasi dan pembangunan manusia tidak berkorelasi secara langsung dengan pengurangan korupsi, tata kelola pemerintahan yang efektif memainkan peran penting dalam mengurangi praktik korupsi.
