Abstract

Flipped classroom is the method where the students conduct the activity of the class at home while the activity in the class is conducted at home. This method is one of alternative way to make the learning process running well without eliminating the essential of the learning material itself. The purpose of this research is to implemented the revolution 4.0 where the effectiveness the use of technology can be more optimal. Integrated English is one of the subjects in English Literature. It involved four important skills in English. Thus, to maximize the four skills, this class was using the video as a tool to support the learning material to become powerful. The result of this research is the three phases of flipped classroom method has been achieved. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of flipped classroom method is suitable with the subject of integrated English which it needs the larger exploration through four skills in English.

Abstract

The Rumbai District official website, which has been in use since 2021, still has problems with the confirmation waiting time which is quite long and the community still has to come back to check the required files. The Rumbai District official website is also still static, because there is no interactive menu facility as a form of service to the community. For this reason, it is necessary to measure the success of the Rumbai sub-district official website in terms of system quality, information quality, service quality, use, user satisfaction and benefits and find out what influences the success of the Rumbai sub-district website through the Delone and Mclean models. This is one of the strategies in developing e-government systematically through realistic and measurable stages. In addition, it can provide recommendations to the Rumbai sub-district office, especially the website development team to improve and provide optimal service according to the needs of the Rumbai sub-district community and can increase employee time efficiency in providing services to the community. With the Delone and Mclean model, quality measurements have been carried out from the Rumbai District official website, using 6 variables and 17 indicators. The results obtained are the percentage of success of the Rumbai District official website which is at a success rate of 78.5% and is declared in the "Success" category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada mata kuliah Essay Writing dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Grammarly berbantuan komputer. Banyak siswa yang menulis tanpa memperhatikan Struktur Tata Bahasa yang benar. Adapun kendala di lapangan, sulitnya dosen mengkaji setiap tulisan mahasiswa secara detail dan mendalam. Selain itu, proses ini memerlukan banyak waktu sehingga tidak efektif bagi mahasiswa untuk memeriksa tulisannya atau bagi dosen untuk memeriksa tulisan mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan Grammarly dalam pembelajaran Essay Writing, penerapan penggunaan Grammarly dalam pembelajaran Essay Writing, dan menemukan dampak yang ditimbulkan dari penggunaan Grammarly. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen sebagai alat yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data penelitian adalah instrumen angket, dan hasil analisis tulisan siswa menggunakan aplikasi Grammarly. Hasil penelitian ini diasumsikan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer berupa Grammarly dalam pembelajaran bahasa khususnya Essay Writing. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat tiga temuan berdasarkan pertanyaan penelitian. Pertama, peran Grammarly dalam pembelajaran Essay Writing memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa yang mempelajari mata kuliah menulis esai. Kedua, Grammarly membantu siswa mendeteksi kesalahan mereka dalam menulis. Ketiga, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan menulis setelah siswa menggunakan Grammarly dalam mata kuliah Essay Writing.

Abstract

Mapping the characteristics of new students is an important first step in designing a technology-based education system, particularly at private universities, where competition to attract new students is intense. This study uses the K-means algorithm to cluster new students at Lancang Kuning University. The goal is to identify patterns that can inform the design of adaptive learning systems. The study employs a quantitative approach with data mining techniques using new student data with variables of academic and digital literacy scores. The clustering results revealed three groups: 54 students with high scores and high digital literacy, 52 students with moderate scores and moderate digital literacy, and 44 students with low scores and low digital literacy. Three main clusters emerged from the data clustering: digitally independent students, moderate students, and students requiring assistance and guidance. These results indicate differences in the learning needs of new students and support strategic recommendations for implementing educational technology tailored to their needs. These results contribute to the use of data mining technology for data-driven learning planning at Lancang Kuning University
