Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan sosial siswa MTs Al Fithrah Surabaya dengan potensi akademik sebagai variabel moderator. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan desain faktorial 2x2. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 70 siswa dengan rincian dari kelas VII-A 35 siswa dan VII-C 35 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dan instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes potensi akademik, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan lembar observasi keterampilan sosial. Analisis data dengan uji Anava dua jalur diperoleh hasil: (1) ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan model PBL dengan F hitung 4,049 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,048; (2) ada perbedaan keterampilan sosial antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan model PBL dengan F hitung 5,886 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,018; (3) ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki potensi akademik tinggi dengan yang memiliki potensi akademik rendah dengan F hitung 5,924 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,018; (4) ada perbedaan keterampilan sosial antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki potensi akademik tinggi dengan yang memiliki potensi akademik rendah dengan F hitung 10,420 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,002; (5) ada interaksi yang sangat signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan potensi akademik terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan F hitung 13,422 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000; dan (6) ada interaksi yang sangat signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan potensi akademik terhadap keterampilan sosial dengan F hitung 38,908 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of learning media “Smart Box Rules at Home and at School” in helping students understand the material in learning Pancasila Education in Elementary School. Media “Smart Box Rules at Home and at School” is a learning media in which there is material and interactive games that can help students understand the concept of material. This research uses the Reasearch and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate). The research instruments used were student and teacher interview guidelines. The data taken is the need for “Smart Box” media development, the feasibility of “Smart Box” media, and students' responses regarding the feasibility of “Smart Box” media. The results showed that teachers and students gave positive responses to the use of “Smart Box” media. It can be seen in the results of the “Smart Box” product validation assessment from material and media experts who obtained an average presentation of 100% with very good or feasible criteria. Through the interview guidelines for students after using the “Smart Box” media, it can be seen that students give very good responses and responses by obtaining an average percentage of 100%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the media “Smart Box” “Rules at Home and at School” is effective and feasible to use in helping students to learn.

Abstract

Mathematics is a fundamental subject that must be learned from elementary school through higher education. However, based on preliminary observations conducted at SDN Keboansikep 2, it was found that many students still struggle to understand the concepts of addition and subtraction of whole numbers 1-11 due to the use of conventional leraning models without variation. This makes students easily bored, which in turn affects their learning outcomes negatively. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of Grade IV C students at SDN Keboansikep 2 on the topic of addition and subtraction of whole numbers from 1-100. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique used a multiple-choice cognitive test consisting of 20 items. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, specifically the paired sample t-test and N-gain analysis. Descriptive statistics analysis showed an average pretest score of 66.54 and a posttest score of 80.19, indicating an increase of 13.654 points. Inferential statistics analysis using the paired sample t-test yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.0001 < 0.05, indicating a difference in learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the TGT model. The N-gain results showed an average score of 0.475 (moderate) and a percentage of 47.52% (fairly effective). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the TGT learning model resulted a difference and is fairly effective in the cognitive learning outcomes of Grade IV C students at SDN Keboansikep 2 on topic of addition and subtraction of whole numbers 1-100. It is recommended that educators consistently implement the TGT learning model in elementary school classrooms.

Abstract

The present study aims to promote self-knowledge and familial awareness among children, thereby facilitating their socialization. The objective is threefold: first, to enhance students' interest and motivation in the learning process; second, to assist them in recognizing their own selves; third, to encourage interaction and collaboration among students; and fourth, to provide a learning experience that is both educational and enjoyable. Conventional learning media is often regarded as less appealing to early childhood students. This study proposes the utilization of "Magic Bag" media as an interactive and innovative alternative. The "Magic Bag of Self and Family Identity" media is hypothesized to facilitate the implementation of the self-introduction process for grade 1 students at Al-Mubarok Islamic Elementary School in an effective, engaging, and memorable manner, thereby fostering the development of crucial social and emotional competencies. The findings of the research are as follows: Firstly, the development of the conventional-based "Magic Bag" learning media on self-identity and family material is systematic and structured in accordance with the stages of the development research model. Secondly, the conventional-based "Magic Bag" learning media is declared very valid with an average percentage level The material validation percentage was found to be 90.76%, while the media validation percentage was 92.30%. Furthermore, the "Magic Bag" learning media has been determined to be highly effective, with a student learning completeness percentage of 98.33% in a limited trial.

Abstract

Learning media is an important component in the teaching and learning process. This media functions as a learning resource that contains learning material and is able to stimulate students’ interest and motivation to learn. So that learning media has a very important role in creating a meaningful learning process and supporting the achievement of educational goals. This study aims to develop and validate wallchart media as a mathematics learning aid in elementary school. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This media is designed to help students understand mathematics concepts in a more visual, interactive, and fun way. Based on the results of the trial research, it shows that the wallchart teaching media fulfils the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. Wallchart can be a learning media that supports students’ learning process optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to develop PowerPoint-based interactive learning media to enhance the understanding of natural numbers among 6th-grade elementary school students. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The research subjects were 30 students from VI Elementary School Baratajaya. Data was collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Media and material expert validation results showed the learning media was suitable for use with an average score of 86.5%. The implementation of learning media demonstrated improved student understanding with an N-gain value of 0.71 (high category). Student response to the learning media showed a satisfaction rate of 88.3%. It can be concluded that PowerPoint-based interactive learning media effectively improves 6th-grade elementary school students' understanding of natural numbers.

Abstract

Developing interactive Indonesian language books that suit the needs of grade IV elementary school students using the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results of the study produced an interactive book equipped with various interactive features. This interactive book has been validated by teachers and tested on grade IV students. The results of the trial showed that the interactive book developed was effective in increasing students' learning motivation towards the use of interactive books in learning Indonesian. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of the use of interactive books.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital-based LiBeRu teaching materials with features such as material E-modules which include encouraging quotes and learning video references and are then equipped with a choice of independent quizzes or quizzes with friends. This type of research is R&D with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The test subjects in this research were class VI students at SD YPI DARUSSALAM Cerme Gresik. Data collection techniques in this research include validation sheets to determine the level of validity, questionnaire response sheets to determine the level of practicability of use to measure the effectiveness of products developed in learning. Data analysis techniques include qualitative data and quantitative data.

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools focuses on understanding the material and does not sufficiently involve collaborative student activities. Often, teachers present material that requires students to work in groups with their classmates, but this is unsuccessful. As a result, students' ability to cooperate and share roles is less than optimal. The solution provided by the researcher to overcome this problem is to use a learning medium called the Smart Puzzle Team. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, which describes phenomena as they are scientifically by collecting data from interviews, observations, and collaborative attitude assessment sheets for students. This study aims to determine how the Deep Learning approach combined with the Smart Puzzle Team media, in this case, to shape students' collaborative attitudes, and what the results of the implementation are after using this media. The research results indicate that the integration between the deep learning approach and the Smart Puzzle Team learning media was successful in fostering students' collaborative attitudes at MI Al Fithrah Surabaya.
