Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of emotional intelligence, organizational culture, and Organizational Commitment on performance directly and indirectly that is mediated by Organizational Commitment. The population in this study were 126 employees in food, drink and cosmetic departemen in PT. Sido Muncul Herbal Medicine Industry. 96 people of them as data. Proportional Random Sampling of Probability Sampling technique was used for gathering the data. The method of data collection by quetionares. Data analysis using path analysis. The conclusion of this study are influence of emotional intelligence and organizational culture on organizational commitment, the influence of emotional intelligence and organizational culture on performance and organizational commitment mediate the relationship emotional intelligence and organizational culture on performance.

Abstract

The research aims to study the thought of Rabindranath Tagore and Ki Hajar Dewantara with the ideal education related in formation of students character. This research is a literature review using content analysis approach. Sources of data in the form of primary data and secondary data on thought of two leaders in education. Data were analyzed qualitatively with the inductive approach. The results showed that 1) Rabindranath Tagore saw education based on freedom and love. Learning approach undertaken by Rabindranath Tagore in the education system is experiential learning; 2) Ki Hajar Dewantara developed a Among system in education which is an effort to advance the development of morality (inner strength), mind (intellect), and physical students; and 3) there is a link between thought of Rabindranath Tagore and thought of Ki Hajar Dewantara on looking at the education and development of ideal education system.

Abstract

Self-concept that describes employee behavior at work called self-evaluation can affect performance and competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-evaluation (self-esteem, self-efficacy, locus of control, and self-monitoring) of the performance's creative industry. The study used creative population industries. Sample researches were 40 persons as a manager or owner creative industry, proportional random sampling. The instrument test used validity and reliability test. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regressions were subsequently tested hypothesis by the F test and t-test. Based on multiple regressions analysis of the F test and t-test show that self-evaluation (self-esteem, self-efficacy, locus of control, and self-monitoring) simultaneously and partially have a positive and significant effect on performance of creative industry. No research was found on self-evaluation of the performance of creative industry entrepreneurs. Government policies in providing a sense of business security and training of creativity are urgently needed by creative industry players to face competition in imported products.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism is a crucial factor in improving the quality of education, especially in responding to the challenges and demands of the times. One of the efforts made to enhance teacher professionalism is through the establishment of learning communities within schools. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of teacher professionalism development through learning communities at SDN 1 Trembes, Gunem District, Rembang Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and other related parties directly involved in the implementation of the learning community. The results show that the learning community has a positive impact on improving teachers’ pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. Teachers who actively participate in the learning community demonstrate increased confidence, creativity in teaching, and openness to instructional innovation. Supporting factors in the implementation of the learning community include principal support, teacher collaboration, and access to learning resources. Meanwhile, obstacles found include limited time, uneven motivation, lack of facilities, and the absence of a structured evaluation system. In conclusion, the learning community at SDN 1 Trembes is effective in improving teacher professionalism, but its effectiveness greatly depends on the active involvement of teachers and continuous support from the school environment.

Abstract

The success of elementary schools depends on the teachers' ability to supervise and control education. The purpose of this research is to evaluate how well elementary school teachers understand the concepts and practices of monitoring and controlling learning, as well as to identify the factors that support and hinder its implementation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects are elementary school teachers in the Tanggamus region who were purposively selected. Direct observation of learning practices, in-depth interviews, and analysis of supervision documents are the data collection methods. The research results show that most teachers understand the concepts of supervision and control well, but they still face challenges in applying them consistently in the field. It has been proven that the main supporting factors include the support of the school principal, ongoing professional training, and teacher learning communities (KKG). However, the main constraints include time limitations, administrative responsibilities, and the inability to obtain relevant training. This research shows that teacher professional development programs should be strengthened with a practical focus on academic supervision and classroom management. In addition, school policies that support a good learning environment are also necessary. With the overall improvement in competencies, teachers are expected to perform their supervisory and control roles better to enhance the quality of basic education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas supervisi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Kristen Dorkas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada guru dan kepala sekolah, serta wawancara mendalam untuk mendukung analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi pendidikan yang terencana dan berkelanjutan memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi profesional dan pedagogik guru. Faktor-faktor seperti komunikasi yang efektif, dukungan kepala sekolah, dan pelatihan intensif juga berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan supervisi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan program supervisi berbasis kebutuhan guru untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal dalam peningkatan kinerja.

Abstract

Perkembangan globalisasi yang sangat cepat dapat menciptakan tingginya persaingan di masyarakat khususnya generasi muda, sehingga diperlukan penguatan soft skill khususnya kecerdasan sosial sebagai bekal dalam menghadapi persaingan global. Penguatan soft skill dapat dilakukan sejak dini melalui pendidikan, sebagaimana yang dilakukan oleh SMA IT Bina Amal melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data penelitian ini didapatkan melalui proses observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun jumlah informan penelitian ini yaitu 12 informan utama dan 3 informan pendukung. Validitas data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi metode dan sumber. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan konsep soft skill kecerdasan sosial, pengembangan diri, ekstrakurikuler, dan teori pendidikan Interaksional turunan aliran pragmatis John Dewey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Adanya pemahaman guru yang komprehensif tentang pentingnya soft skill bagi peserta didik di abad 21. 2) Pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang dilaksanakan di SMA IT Bina Amal meliputi penelusuran bakat minat, pembimbingan dan evaluasi kegiatan. 3) Soft skill kecerdasan sosial seperti keterampilan bekerja secara tim, berkomunikasi dengan baik, dapat berfikir kritis dan menyelesaikan masalah, serta kemampuan untuk memimpin yang sudah muncul dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler.

Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan  untuk: (1)  mengetahui  pengaruh  peran pengawas  sekolah terhadap  mutu  pembelajaran SD  di  Kabupaten  Rembang;  (2)  mengetahui pengaruh  peran kepala sekolah  terhadap  mutu  pembelajaran SD  di  Kabupaten  Rembang;  (3) mengetahui pengaruh  komitmen guru  terhadap  mutu  pembelajaran SD  di  Kabupaten  Rembang; dan (4) mengetahui pengaruh  budaya sekolah  terhadap  mutu  pembelajaran SD  di  Kabupaten  Rembang. Sampel penelitian ini dipilih guru dari tiga kecamatan di Kabupaten Rembang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan angket yang telah dijamin validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah  analisis  diskriptif,  uji  prasyarat,  analisis  regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara peran pengawas sekolah terhadap  mutu  pembelajaran; ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara peran kepala sekolah  terhadap  mutu  pembelajaran; ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara komitmen guru  terhadap  mutu  pembelajaran; dan ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara budaya sekolah terhadap  mutu  pembelajaran.
