Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition based Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research population is XI Sciences of senior high school 1 brebes 2011/2012. First data analysis showed that the population data are normally distributed and homogeneous, so the sampling technique which used is cluster random sampling. From the result of the draws, XI Science-1 as an experiment class (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Based contextual Teaching and Learning) and XI Science-5 as a control class (conventional learning). Final data analysis showed that learning product both classes are normally distributed and have equal variances. In the test of correlation, obtained 0,732 of rb value, which showed a height correlation, so Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Based Contextual Teaching and Learning has height effect on student learning product in colloids. This learning contributes to student learning product=54%. The learning product of experiment and control class had reached completeness. classical learning completeness which achieved by experiment and control class are respectively 95% and 87,5%. The average value of affective and psychomotor in experimental class is better than the control class. Based on this research, we can conclude that Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition based Contextual Teaching and Learning assisted has a positive effect on learning product in senior high school 1 brebes.

Abstract

Media selektif Edamame Agar dengan penambahan Polymyxin B   dibuat  bertahap  yaitu pembuatan tepung edamame dan pembuatan  edamame agar + Polymyxin B. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni – September  2023, bertempat di Laboratorium  Analisis Pangan Politeknik Negeri Jember.   Penelitian bertujuan  untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan bakteri Bacillus Subtillis pada  edamame agar dengan penambahan Polymyxin B dan membuat SOP. Metode penelitian dengan membandingkan pertumbuhan bakteri Bacillus Subtilis pada edamame agar dengan media Mannitol Egg yolk polymyxin Agar .Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah koloni  bakteri Bacillus subtillis pada media dengan penambahan Polymyxin B  0,6 % , 1,1 %, 1,6 %  dan media Mannitol Egg yolk polymyxin Agar  dengan   masa inkubasi 48 jam adalah 3,9  x 105, 2,2 x 105, 1,0 x 105 cfu/ml  dan pada Mannitol Egg yolk polymyxin Agar 3,5 x 105 cfu/ml . Pengujian kimia terhadap koloni yang tumbuh pada  keempat media menunjukkan hasil sama yaitu  Katalase positip, Fermentasi Laktosa negatip , Fermentasi Glukosa positif dan Voges Proskauer  positip. Pengecatan gram  menunjukkan bakteri Bacilus subtilis yang tumbuh pada media Edamame agar dan Mannitol Egg yolk polymyxin Agar   diperoleh hasil bentuknya batang  dan berwarna biru   yaitu termasuk bakteri gram positip.Kesimpulan penelitian adalah media edamame agar  dengan penambahan Polymyxin B mampu menghambat bakteri gram negatip dan  menumbuhkan bakteri  gram positip Bacillus subtillis secara optimal  . Bakteri  Bacillus subtillis yang tumbuh  terbanyak  pada media edamame agar  dengan penambahan Polymyxin B 0,6% dengan TPC 3,9  x 105 cfu/ml lebih tinggi  dibandingkan dengan Mannitol Egg yolk polymyxin Agar   dengan TPC 3,5 x 105 cfu/ml.

Abstract

Pengukuran kadar alkohol dilakukan dua tahap yaitu proses destilasi alkohol dan pengujian alkohol. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni – September 2024, bertempat di Laboratorium Analisis Pangan Politeknik Negeri Jember. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas alat destilasi sederhana untuk memisahkan alkohol yang terdapat pada tape ketan dalam skala laboratorium. Metode penelitian membandingkan hasil destilasi alkohol menggunakan alat destilasi sederhana dengan standart Vapodest. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa hasil uji kinerja alat destilasi sederhana dan destilasi vapodest terhadap warna dan bau diperolah bahwa air destilat memiliki warna bening dan beraroma alkohol, kadar alkohol air tape ketan putih dengan destilasi sederhana menghasilkan kadar alkohol sebesar 12% sedangkan destilasi Vapodest sebesar 8%, laju destilasi vapodest lebih tinggi (22,2 ml/menit) dibandingkan destilasi sederhana (7,6 ml/menit). Laju destilasi dipengaruhi oleh waktu dan suhu proses. Dengan waktu destilasi 13 menit, destilasi sederhana memperoleh efisiensi destilasi 6% di banding destilasi vapodest yaitu 4 %. Air destilasi mengandung kadar gula untuk alat destilasi sederhana 0,3-0,4 % sedang destilasi vapodest 0,5%-0,7%. Kesimpulannya alat destilasi sederhana lebih efektif untuk memisahkan alkohol yang terdapat pada air tape ketan putih dengan kadar alkohol 12 % dan lebih tinggi dibandingkan destilasi vapodest 8% dengan laju destilasi 7,6 % dan efisiensi destilasi 6%.

Abstract

Diabetes Self Management Education merupakan suatu proses berkelanjutan yang dilakukan untuk memfasilitasi pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kemampuan pasien Diabetes Melitus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Diabetes Self Management Education terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe II di Bekasi. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus. Subyek studi kasus ini adalah penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe II yang berjumlah 2 orang. Metode studi kasus ini dilakukan dengan cara memeriksa kadar gula darah sebelum dan setelah dilakukan program Diabetes Self Management Education yang meliputi 4 sesi yang terdiri dari pemberian pengetahuan dasar Diabetes Melitus, pengaturan nutrisi dan aktivitas fisik, perawatan kaki dan tindakan pencegahan komplikasi, serta pengontrolan stress dan manajemen fasilitas kesehatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 8 hari berturut-turut. Hasil studi kasus adalah adanya pengaruh kadar gula darah sebelum dan setelah dilakukan program Diabetes Self Management Education. Kadar gula darah pada pasien 1 sebelum program Diabetes Self Management Education adalah 158 mg/dL dan setelah Diabetes Self Management Education adalah 139 mg/dL. Kadar gula darah pada pasien 2 sebelum program Diabetes Self Management Education adalah 146 mg/dL dan setelah Diabetes Self Management Education adalah 124 mg/dL Kesimpulan dari hasil studi kasus yang penulis temukan adalah program Diabetes Self Management Education dapat mempengaruhi penurunan kadar gula darah pada pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe II di Bekasi. Diharapkan program ini dapat terus diaplikasikan dalam praktik keperawatan sebagai upaya pengelolaan dan peningkatan kemandirian pasien Diabetes Melitus sehingga kualitas hidup dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Biliary atresia (BA) is a progressive fibroinflammatory obstruction of the intra- and extrahepatic bile ducts, accounting for approximately 25–30% of neonatal cholestasis cases worldwide. Delayed diagnosis significantly increases the risk of liver failure and the need for transplantation. This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of specific ultrasonographic parameters triangular cord sign, hepatic artery to portal vein (HAD/PV) ratio, and hepatic subcapsular flow (HSF) in the early detection of BA. A retrospective observational analytic study was conducted at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital, involving 82 neonates with cholestasis between January 2019 and December 2023. Ultrasound images acquired using the GE LOGIQ Series E9 XDClear 2.0 were reviewed by blinded pediatric radiology consultants via the HOROS DICOM viewer. Statistical analysis revealed that both the triangular cord sign (p = 0.024; OR = 3.158) and hepatic subcapsular flow (p = 0.003; OR = 5.635) showed significant association with BA, while the HAD/PV ratio did not reach statistical significance (p = 0.087). Triangular cord sign and hepatic subcapsular flow are reliable sonographic markers that support early diagnosis of biliary atresia, whereas the HAD/PV ratio showed limited diagnostic relevance in this cohort. These findings reinforce the utility of non-invasive ultrasound imaging in differentiating BA from other causes of neonatal cholestasis. Incorporating these parameters into routine neonatal screening protocols may facilitate earlier surgical intervention and improve long-term outcomes
