Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menghitung siswa kelas II UPTD SDN 188 Barru melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran "Papan Jurang." Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang masing-masing terdiri atas empat tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian melibatkan 19 siswa dan difokuskan pada peningkatan keterampilan operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 66 pada Siklus I, di mana hanya 53% siswa mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), menjadi 90 pada Siklus II dengan tingkat ketuntasan mencapai 100%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media "Papan Jurang" efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi, pemahaman, dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penggunaan alat peraga pembelajaran yang interaktif dan inovatif untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar di jenjang pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media interaktif digital berbasis chatbot terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Borong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental) dan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan media chatbot secara individual dan kelas kontrol yang diajarkan tanpa menggunakan media digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar yang diberikan sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen adalah 83,00 dengan standar deviasi 8,158, sedangkan kelas kontrol memiliki rata-rata 65,83 dengan standar deviasi 11,225. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media interaktif digital berbasis chatbot dengan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil ini didukung oleh teori pembelajaran sosial Bandura dan teori kognitif Sweller, serta diperkuat oleh temuan dari penelitian sebelumnya. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan media ini masih memiliki keterbatasan seperti akses teknologi yang belum merata dan potensi dampak dari penggunaan media digital secara berlebihan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pemanfaatan chatbot sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in the science and science subject for fifth grade students at SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City are still relatively low, with an average score that has not yet reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). Based on observations, learning is dominated by the lecture method, so students are less active and less enthusiastic about learning. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the Make A Match cooperative model on student learning outcomes in the Social Sciences subject for class V students. This type of research is Quasi-experimental with the total population in the experimental class, namely class V B and control, namely class V A, being 51 people. The research design uses a Non-Equivalent Control Group with the sample type, namely total sampling. By giving Pretest & Posttest. Based on the research results, there are differences in the two samples with the independent sample t test in the t test and sig. (2-tailed) of 0.008 < 0.05. This means that there is a significant difference between the posttest results of the experimental class and the control class. Referring to the decision, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted (hypothesis is supported).

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to optimize the literacy corner as a means of increasing the reading interest of fifth-grade students at SDN 75 Bentang. The background of this study is based on the low reading interest of students caused by limited reading facilities and the lack of a variety of interesting reading materials in the school environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were 28 fifth-grade students at SDN 75 Bentang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and actions. The results of the study indicate that optimal management of the literacy corner through the arrangement of a comfortable reading space, the provision of diverse reading books, and the active involvement of teachers in literacy activities has a positive effect on increasing students' reading interest. After the optimization was carried out, fifth-grade students showed increased enthusiasm in reading and actively utilized the literacy corner at the front of the class. Thus, optimizing the literacy corner has proven effective as a strategy to foster a reading culture at SDN 75 Bentang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the reading, writing, and arithmetic (calistung) abilities of fourth-grade students before and after the learning process. The research subjects were 15 fourth-grade students of SDN 75 Bentang, Galesong District, Takalar Regency. Data collection was conducted through direct observation, field notes, and short interviews with students after the learning activities. The results of the study showed an increase in student abilities after participating in intensive calistung learning for one week. In the reading aspect, students who were able to read fluently increased from 40% to 86.6%. In the writing aspect, students who wrote with correct and neat spelling increased from 46.6% to 80%. Meanwhile, in the arithmetic aspect, students who were able to complete two-digit addition and subtraction operations increased from 33.3% to 93.3%. Thus, calistung learning has a positive impact on improving students' academic abilities and self-confidence.

Abstract

Bullying and cyberbullying remain prevalent issues in elementary school environments and have negative impacts on students’ comfort as well as their psychosocial development. Students’ low level of understanding regarding the forms, impacts, and prevention of bullying and cyberbullying served as the background for the implementation of a Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PKM) in the form of a socialization activity for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Biringkaloro, Gowa Regency. This activity aimed to provide knowledge and foster students’ awareness in preventing and responding to bullying and cyberbullying as an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the community service aspect. The program was conducted collaboratively by lecturers and students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar in cooperation with teachers of SD Negeri Biringkaloro through the stages of planning, implementation, and reporting, using a socialization method accompanied by interactive discussions. The results indicated that students participated enthusiastically and were actively involved in efforts to prevent bullying and cyberbullying. Therefore, this socialization activity is effective as apreventive measure in creating a safe and comfortable learning environment for students.
