Abstract

This study describes the implementation of character education in Indonesian language learning, including planning, implementation, and assessment. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were Indonesian language teachers at UPT SPF SMPN 53 Makassar. Data were obtained through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation analysis. The credibility test of the data used in this study is the persistence of observations, and then conclusions are obtained. The results obtained in this study are character education in Indonesian language learning at UPT SPF SMPN 53 Makassar has been implemented both in planning, implementation, and assessment of learning but not all of it has been implemented because it is still in the covid-19 pandemic. At the learning planning stage, the Indonesian language teacher has included character values ​​that will be implemented in learning in the syllabus and lesson plans. The implementation of Indonesian language learning at UPT SPF SMPN 53 Makassar has been quite implemented through online learning via WhatsApp. Assessment of Indonesian language learning includes effective assessment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the usage of digital book media in the development of explanatory texts for students in the sixth grade of primary school. The experimental design employed in this study was a one-group pretest-posttest design. Test in command questions is used to collect data, which is then used to produce explanatory texts utilizing digital book media. The paired sample t-test on the SPSS Version 22 system is used for this normality test, and the results are presented in the following table. The results of the study revealed that the pre-test mean was 66.11. In contrast, the post-test mean was 82.78, indicating that the post-test score was more dominant than the pre-test based on descriptive statistical analysis approaches. H0 is rejected, while H1 is approved, indicating an effect of utilizing digital book media on writing skills in the sixth grade of elementary school, according to the findings of the study.

Abstract

. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk menjelaskan jenis tindak tutur ilokusi pada iklan layanan masyarakat di kabupaten soppeng, (2) untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi pada iklan layanan masyarakat di kabupaten soppeng. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian pada nekstralingual. Objek penelitian ini berupa kalimat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simak, teknik catat. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi dan pustaka. Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa iklan layanan masyarakat di kabupaten soppeng ditemukan lima jenis tindak tutur ilokusi. Jenis tindak tutur ilokusi adalah tindak tutur refresentatif, diektif, ekspresif, komisif dan deklarasi.Tuturan refresentatif meliputi verba; (1) Mengajak, (2) Mengatakan, (3) Memberitahu. Tuturan Direktif meliputi verba; (1) Memerintah, (2) Menyuruh dan (3) Menagih.Tuturan Ekspresif meliputi verba; (1) Mengucapkan selamat. Tuturan Komisif meliputi verba; (1) Mengancam, (2) Menawarkan. Tuturan Deklarasi meliputi verba; (1) Melarang Fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi yang digunakan dalam iklan layanan masyarakat di kabupaten soppeng terdiri atas 4 fungsi. Fungsi koperatif meliputi; (1) fungsi memerintah, fungsi menyenangkan meliputi; (1) fungsi menawarkan. Fungsi bekerjasama meliputi; (1) fungsi mengumunkan, (2) fungsi menginstruksikan. Fungsi bertentangan meliputi; (1) fungsi mengancam, (2) fungsi menegur. Kata kunci : tindak tutur, ilokusi, iklan layanan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Barrett Taxonomy Reorganization Method on the intensive reading ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua, Pinrang Regency, 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with True Experimental Design. The variables in this study were the Barrett Taxonomy Reorganization Method and intensive reading skills. The experimental group was class VIII.1 students and the control group was grade VIII.3 students of SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua, Pinrang Regency. Research data collection techniques in the form of tests. The results showed that the intensive reading ability using the Barrett Taxonomy Reorganization method was higher than the intensive reading ability using the conventional method for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua, Pinrang Regency. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% (95% confidence level) obtained t count (3.061)> t table (0.278). The value of t count> t table shows that the intensive reading skills of the two groups differ significantly. Therefore, it can be concluded that the effect of the Barrett Taxonomy Reorganization method can not only improve students' understanding but also their reading ability.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of syntactic interference in the use of Indonesian spoken Indonesian Student Department of Language Education and Literature Indonesia, FKIP Unismuh Makassar. The data in this study were obtained from oral speech that meet the criteria: (1) native speakers of Bugis language, (2) have studied Bugis language, (3) being open, friendly, and not easily offended. The data in this study were collected through observation, interview, and elicitation techniques. Further analyzed by using contrastive analysis to find forms of syntactic interference then incorporated into syntactic patterns. From the results of this research data analysis obtained some form of Bugis language syntax interference in the use of Indonesian language oral Indonesian Department of Education and Literature FKIP Unismuh Makassar which includes: (1) subject dating, (2) word order, (3) use of pronouns (4) the use of the same agentive particles to replace the agentive particles by, (5) the use of the same particles to represent to, (6) the use of the same particles to represent with, (7) the use of the proposition particles in to replace the prepositioned particles to. (8) the use of preposition particles in to express the preposition particles in, (9) the use of preposition particles in to express the preposition particles of (10) the date of the particle in to time, (11) the use of the new word as the sentence word, the preposition dating by in passive mandatory sentence, (13) denial at the beginning of the sentence. (14) the use of pronouns.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education and describe the inhibiting and supporting factors for implementing character education in Indonesian language learning in-class VA students at SD Inpres Parangrea, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. This type of research is qualitative research. The results showed that the character values obtained from the students were religious, tolerant, disciplined, hard-working, independent, creative, curious, fond of reading, friendly/communicative, and responsible. With the implementation of character education in Indonesian language learning in-class VA students at SD Inpres Parangrea, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, it can be carried out well and generally, taking actions such as 1). Learning planning, 2). Implementation of learning, 3). Learning evaluation. The inhibiting and supporting factors for the implementation of character education in Indonesian language learning for class VA students at SD Inpres Parangrea, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. In comparison, the supporting factors of the implementation of character education in learning Indonesian in-class VA students at SDI Parangrea are 1). Teacher, 2). Character building at school.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter dan mendeskripsikan faktor penghambat dan pendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada peserta didik kelas VA di SD Inpres Parangrea Kecamatan Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai karakter yang diperoleh dari peserta didik yaitu religius, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, mandiri, kreatif, rasa ingin tahu, gemar membaca, bersahabat/komunikatif, dan tanggung jawab.  Dengan adanya implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada peserta didik kelas VA di SD Inpres Parangrea Kecamatan Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan secara garis besar yaitu dengan adanya tindakan seperti: 1). Perencanaan pembelajaran, 2). Pelaksanaan pembelajaran, 3). Evaluasi pembelajaran. Faktor penghambat dan pendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada peserta didik kelas VA di SD Inpres Parangrea Kecamatan Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan. Sedangkan faktor pendukung dari implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada peserta didik kelas VA di SDI Parangrea adalah 1). Guru, 2). Pembinaan karakter di sekolah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research, was to reveal the implementation of habituation in students’ character building, to find out the students’ character; and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of habituation on the students’ character. The method of this research was descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The findings revealed that SD Inpres Andi Tonro had implemented various kinds of habituation to build the five main character values in the 2013 curriculum, namely (a) Religious, (b) Nationalism, (c) Independent, (d) Cooperation, (e) Integrity. The habituation in th students’ character building at SD Inpres Andi Tonro Makassar was implemented through routine programs. The school activity program had been planned before the new academic year began. The students’ activity program was well organized. Moreover, the habituation carried out every day also had a good impact on the students’ character because  it was getting better than before. However, some students still  did not have a good character. This was due to the various obstacles, including students’ different backgrounds, lack of parents’ attention, the unfavorable environment, the teachers’ limitations to control students at home, and the students who brought smartphones to school. Apart from the obstacles, there were also some supporting factors, such as the government supports on the character education, adequate human resources, the completeness of school facilities and infrastructure, and extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana makna simbol doangang berbahasa Makassar berdasarkan pengobatan, kecantikan dan kepintaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan makna doangang yang tersirat di balik simbol-simbol dalam doangang berbahasa Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata-kata atau kalimat-kalimat yang membentuk sebuah doangang yang berbahasa Makassar. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang menggunakan doangang yang berlokasi di Desa Salajo Kecamatan Bontonompo Selatan Kabupaten Gowa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tiga jenis doangang yang diteliti, yaitu jenis doangang yang pertama doangang kesehatan, terdapat simbol kalli bassi, urak bassi dan anging kupasang jeknek. Jenis doangang kedua yaitu doangang kecantikan, terdapat simbol kualle ri rammang kebo, jeknek ri batang kaca, dan bunga biraeng kukangkang. Jenis doangang ketiga yaitu doangang kepintaran, terdapat simbol Allah nurung, Adam dan Muhammad, teai cekla kukangkang, dan gatta golla kuking bolong. Masing-masing simbol doangang di atas memiliki makna tersendiri dalam teks doangang yang dijadikan sebagai suatu penyampaian yang mencerminkan pola pikir yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Makasssar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk ambiguitas makna yang terdapat pada slogan iklan makanan dan minuman di televisi. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode kualitatif adalah penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif, yaitu dari yang berupa kata-kata tertulis/lisan dari orang-orang atau perilaku yang diamati. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pustaka, simak, dan catat.Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan pada penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tedapat sebanyak 19 slogan iklan makanan dan minuman yang mengandung ambiguitas makna. Ambiguitas makna yang tedapat pada slogan tersebut diantaranya 8 ambiguitas gramatikal dan 11 ambiguitas leksikal. Ambiguitas gramatikal terjadi saat proses pembentukan ditingkat kebahasaan, juga karena susunan kalimat yang kurang tepat. Ambiguitas leksikal merupakan makna (kata) lebih dari satu, dapat mengacu pada benda, dan sesuai dengan lingkungan pemakaiannya. Dalam hal ini sebagai suatu peristiwa tutur pemaknaan terhadap tuturan tidak dapat begitu saja dilepaskan dari konteks.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana makna tanda kasih sayang pada tokoh yang terdapat dalam serial web drama My Lecturer, My Husband. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan deskripsi mengenai makna tanda kasih sayang dalam serial web drama My Lecturer, My Husband. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu potongan gambar berupa adegan dalam drama My Lecturer, My Husband yang menunjukkan tanda kasih sayang dan didukung dengan dialog antartokoh. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tanda kasih sayang dalam serial drama My Lecturer, My Husband ini ada 5 yang ditemukan, yaitu : memberi perhatian, membantu menyelesaikan masalah, menjadi pendengar yang baik, memberi proteksi, memberi kelembutan dan sentuhan kasih sayang. adapun pesan yang dapat diambil dari drama tersebut yaitu perjodohan tidak selalu berakhir buruk bagi seseorang, dalam menjalani rumah tangga perlu kesabaran ekstra serta pengorbanan, sehingga apa yang diperjuangkan dapat dimiliki seutuhnya.
