Abstract

Kualitas tata kelola pemerintahan desa meura masih relatif rendah akibat kurangnya pemahaman para aparat desa meura tentang prinsip-prinsip Good Governance. Hal tersebut juga berimbas terhadap rendahnya kinerja pemerintah desa dalam memberikan pelayanan yang prima kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini memberikan penguatan kapasitas Aparatur desa dalam menyelenggarakan Pemerintahan Desa. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode Sosialisasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu peserta memahami tahapan-tahapan pembuatan perencanaan desa. Selain itu, pemerintah desa terbuka pikirannya untuk kedepannya akan menyelenggarakan pelatihan/penyuluhan peningkatan kapasitas aparatur desanya agar tidak tertinggal jauh dari desa yang lainnya

Abstract

This study discusses how Mendeley is used to improve the quality of student thesis writing. The goal is to understand the quality of student thesis writing using Mendeley. This paper is a qualitative descriptive with the aim of analyzing the data compiled with primary and/or secondary data and then linking the data to relevant theories. Research informants come from findings or surveys conducted on public administration students by means of purposive sampling—data processing methods with participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative that is able to produce quality data. The results of this study show that the use of Mendeley provides solutions related to student final assignment writing so that students become more efficient and faster in completing their final assignment or thesis. Students no longer need to make citationsbibliographiesaphy manually because Mendeley can automatically create a bibliography. While previously students had difficulty finding references for their final project, they automatically have no more difficulties with Mendeley because this application can be opened directly to Google so that whatever students need they can search immediately.

Abstract

Most of the Muna community are shifting cultivators who are very dependent on their natural environment, so they always adapt and interact with nature. One of the media used to adapt and interact with nature is ritual tingka. In practice, the ritual tingka contains symbolic messages for nature conservation and a form of human appreciation for nature, flora, and fauna as a whole. The objective of this study was to study and analyze the ecological wisdom of shifting cultivation related to land conservation and the form of human appreciation for nature through farming rituals. This study used a normative survey method which was carried out in seven villages in Muna regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and focus group discussions. The collected data were analyzed using flow analysis techniques. The results showed that symbolically the tingka ritual was the institutionalization of knowledge of land conservation through agro forestry patterns, namely by combining the planting of trees such as bamboo, areca nut, kapok with food and secondary crops. Ritual tingka is a form of respect for nature to create a harmonious relationship between the microcosm and the macrocosm, so that farmers are protected from various disasters. Abstract

The research aims to analyze the quality of PDAM Tirta Simbune services in East Kolaka Regency, with a focus on clean water services in Tirawuta District. East Kolaka Regency has abundant water resource potential, but there are still various challenges in providing quality and adequate drinking water to the community. This research uses secondary data analysis methods and customer surveys to identify existing problems and increase understanding of customer needs and expectations for PDAM services. Data was collected from PDAM, the local government, and through a survey involving several PDAM customers in Tirawuta District. The research results illustrate that the service quality of PDAM Tirta Simbune is quite good when seen from direct evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy, but there is still a need for improvements in facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, factors that influence service quality are external influences and also internal influences. Internal influences can relatively be controlled by the company, for example, facilities and infrastructure, discipline, employee responsibility, employee ability, politeness, speed of response, ease of service procedures, suitability of procedures, clarity of service, and thoroughness of transactions, while external influences such as building relationships with customers, flow Dry season, rainy season flow and professionalism in resolving customer complaints.

Abstract

This research aims to determine Government Organizational Communication in Improving the Quality of Public Services at the Sentani Jayapura District Office. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method to detail organizational communication and its impact on the Sentani District Office, which provides public services in Jayapura City. Considering the analysis, It was discovered that the organizational communication climate is very important and can improve how well public services are provided at the Sentani District Office in Jayapura City. Creating a good communication climate, in this case, involves instilling honesty, trust, and openness in communication, listening to downward communication, and participating in decision-making. These are important factors that indicate two-way communication at the Sentani District Office in Jayapura City. Involving members of the organization in the decision-making process further illustrates that a comfortable and conducive working environment can be created at the Sentani District Office in Jayapura City.

Abstract

The current condition of micro, small, and medium enterprises is not as bad as it used to be. However, in this developmental process, micro, small, and medium enterprise managers face various challenges, including limited financial understanding and a lack of skills in applying technology for financial management. This study employs qualitative methods to understand the implementation of Financial Literacy and Financial Technology in managing micro, small, and medium enterprises' finances in Kolaka Regency using purposive sampling techniques. Qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques were used. According to Bogdan in Hardan et al. (2020), data analysis is a systematic process of collecting and describing information from various sources such as interviews, field notes, and other materials. The aim of this process is to facilitate a better understanding and communicate the results to others. Research shows that financial literacy and financial technology in managing MSME finances in Kolaka Regency are working well, helping MSMEs manage financial resources effectively and utilize digital payments to increase access to financial services and financial inclusion.

Abstract

Rendahnya kapasitas aparatur desa menjadi hambatan dalam pemberian layanan kepada masyarakat, terutama pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat. Kemampuan wirausaha bagi masyarakat adalah faktor utama untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Dalam upaya mendorong kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat, pihak akademisi perlu dilibatkan agar terciptanya ruang tukar pendapat dengan pemerintah desa dan masyrakat dalam memberdayakan masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk memberikan penguatan kepada aparatur desa dan masyarakat untuk bisa menciptakan peluang usaha seta meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Metode yang digunakan berupa ceramah dan diskusi yang dilaksanakan selama satu hari penuh yang dihadiri 35 peserta yang terdiri dari 12 orang dari aparatur desa dan 23 dari masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan ini yaitu masyarakat sangat antusias dan senang mengikuti kegiatan sehingga terbangunnya ruang diskusi dan pemikiran masyarakat untuk membuka konsep satu rumah satu usaha dan akan ada perlombaan usaha setiap rumah tangga antar dusun khusus di Desa Rompu-Rompu sebagai upaya peningkatakan keterampilan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Hal ini tampak dari pemahaman dan pengetahun aparatur desa dan masyarakat dalam menjelaskan arti pentingnya membanngun usaha pada satiap rumah tangga. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini dapat memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat dan aparatur desa dalam membangun desa yang produktif dan inovatif.

Abstract

Desa Popalia memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan pendapatan daerah melalui realisasi Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan (PBB) karena desa ini menjadi lokasi perguruan tinggi negeri Universitas Sembilanbelas Novemebr Kolaka. Fenomena meningkatnya pembelian tanah oleg orang-orang luar daerah menjadi tantangan tersendiri karena banyak dari mereka yang belum patuh dalam membayar PBB dan menghambat potensi dan realisasi pendapatan daerah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya kewajiban perpajakan PBB dan mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam pembangunan daerah melalui pembayaran pajak tepat waktu. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan melalui seminar. Masyarakat diberikan informasi dan edukasi mengenai pentingnya pajak, cara pembayaran dan manfaat pajak. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai PBB dan berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kepatuhan wajib pajak yang dapat dilihat pada Daftar Himpunan Ketetapan Pajak (DHKP) tahun 2023 dan 2024. Realisasi penerimaan PBB dapat meningkat setiap tahunnya dengan komunikasi dua arah melalui forum diskusi atau media sosial dan pertemuan tatap muka secara berkala antara pemerintah desa dan masyarakat.
