Abstract

Military music has a very significant role in every military event and government activity such as national ceremonies, important military ceremonies, and internal military activities. Military music also functions as a signal giver to high-ranking leaders such as the President and his staff, the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, Generals, and high commanders in the military. Since music is important within military units, a special unit called a military band unit was formed with the task of organizing military music activities and providing military music services to arouse a spirit of nationalism, professionalism, and patriotism for the personnel of the Indonesian National Armed Forces. The phenomenon that occurs in the military band unit is that not all personnel, especially the Army, have an academic background in music. Members from several units such as combat units can only play wind and percussion instruments but do not understand the basic techniques of music and playing musical instruments. This is because some members join the band unit due to the lack of personnel in the unit, and it is added to the high demands of members who are able to play music well. The solution to addressing this problem is to organize training to improve the musical skills of members of the military band unit, namely (1) reading and writing musical notation, (2) correct techniques in playing musical instruments, especially wind and percussion instruments, and (3) maintenance of musical instruments that are used daily.

Abstract

Flashcard my dance adventure media is one of learning media that can be used by teachers to students in order to introduce Javanese traditional dance. Introduce various Javanese traditional dances from various provinces in Java Island gave a new introduction to students about traditional dance arts in Indonesia to foster a sense of love for the arts and culture of the nation. The confusion occurred to students about Javanese traditional dance itself, both in terms of the traditional dance regional origin, costumes, and the story behind every traditional dance. This research aims to find out whether the use of flashcard my dance adventure media are able to increase the student’s recognition toward Javanese traditional dances in RA Matholibul Ulum 01. This research used quantitative approach that is experimental research that used One Group Pretest Posttest as the research design. The population is the whole students of RA Matholibul Ulum 01 as many as 30 students. The data collection technique used observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis used in this study are descriptive analysis and hypothesis test through paired sample t-Test test technique. The result of t test calculation obtained score tcount ≥ ttable as many as 28,793 > 2,045 with the significant value (2 tailed). So, Ha is accepted that there is a significant difference related to flashcard my dance adventure use to increase students’ recognition abilities toward Javanese traditional dances. There is a difference from the average pretest is 71,23 after being given posttest treatment increased become 112,87 and obtained a significant enhancement that is equal to 41,64. The N-Gain test result obtained 0,54 showed that flashcard my dance adventure media is effective to introduce Javanese traditional dances to class B students of Matholibul Ulum 01 with medium category. Abstract

Tari Eklek diakui sebagai salah satu produk budaya unggulan Kabupaten Pacitan karena lahir dari local wisdom Pacitan. Akan tetapi upaya pewarisan dan konservasi tari Eklek ini nampaknya belum maksimal. Perlu adanya upaya pewarisan tari ini ke sekolah-sekolah formal. Guru-guru seni budaya sebagai ujung tombak pewarisan budaya tentunya memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah melatih guru seni budaya di Kabupaten Pacitan agar mampu menguasai teknik Tari Eklek sehingga dapat meneruskannya kepada generasi mendatang sebagai bagian dari upaya pelestarian budaya lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian dibagi menjadi 3 tahap, yaitu: (1) Ceramah dan demonstrasi untuk memperkenalkan Tari Eklek; (2) Pelatihan, untuk mendalami teknik tari; (3) Penarikan kesimpulan dan evaluasi untuk mengukur penguasaan materi oleh peserta. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru seni budaya dalam menarikan Tari Eklek, serta terjalinnya sinergi antara pengabdi, pemerintah daerah, dan lembaga pelestari resmi Tari Eklek untuk keberlanjutan program dalam skala yang lebih luas sebagai wujud konservasi budaya di Kabupaten Pacitan. Pelatihan ini diharapkan menjadi model bagi kegiatan konservasi budaya lainnya dan mendorong penerapan pengajaran Tari Eklek secara lebih luas di berbagai sekolah di wilayah Pacitan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat pendidikan tanggung jawab anak usia dini melalui kisah alkitab perjanjian lama di Gereja Santo Ignatius Loyola Banjardowo Semarang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dan ditemukan bahwa dari 11 anak usia dini ada 3 anak yang belum memiiki rasa tanggung jawab ketika mereka enggan memberesakan mainan setelah berkegiatan,2 enggan mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan iman secara online maupun offline serta adanya 2 anak yang terlambat mengikuti kegiatan karena memilih bermain gamedimalam harinya. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, data yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan teori Miles and Huberman. Hasil analasis data mengenai implementasi pendidikan tanggung jawab 2anak usia dini melalui kisah alkitab perjanjian lama di Gereja Santo Ignatius Loyola Banjardowo dilaksanakan oleh tiga lingkup pendidikan yakni keluarga, sekolah formal dan sekolah minggu sebagai pendidiikan non formal. Masing-masing pendidik memiliki metode dan strategi dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan tanggung jawab anak usia dini melalui kisah alkitab perjanjian lama. Para pendidik saling berkomunikasi dan berkoordinasi dalam mempercayakan serta mendidik anak-anak sesuai dengan metode yang mereka sering gunakan. Sehingga hal tersebut menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung, kemudian gereja sebagai tempat penelitian juga memberikan kesempatan bagi anak untuk mengembangkan potensi, memberi dukungan dalam bentuk penyelenggaraan kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan tanggung jawab dan kisah alkitab seperti koor, tarian, drama dan mendongeng. Namun, beberapa hal yang ditemukan dalam ketiga lingkup pendidikan tersebut ialah kurangnya inovasi dan kreativitas dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran yang efektif bagi pendidikan nilai tanggung jawab anak usia dini melalui kisah alkitab perjanjian lama.Key word: Responsibility, Children, Value Education

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dicanangkannya kebijakan tentang literasi budaya dan kewargaan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi literasi budaya dan kewargaan di Lembaga PAUD Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru di Lembaga PAUD Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah guru di Lembaga PAUD sebanyak 150 guru. Perhitungan sampel menggunakan rumus Solvin dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dan kesalahan 5%. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling dan diperoleh data sampel sebanyak 109 guru di Lembaga PAUD Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen non tes dengan kuesioner tertutup. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan penyajian data melalui tabel, diagram lingkaran, pictogram, perhitungan modus, median mean (pengukuran tendensi sentral), perhitungan penyebaran data melalui perhitungan rata-rata dan standar deviasi, dan perhitungan presentase (Sugiyono, 2017). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lembaga PAUD Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang sudah mengimplementasikan literasi budaya dan kewargaan anak usia dini dengan presentase sebesar 77%. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa literasi budaya dan kewargaan di Lembaga PAUD Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang sudah diimplemnetasikan dengan baik. Keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini adalah dalam pengumpulan data masih ada guru yang perlu bimbingan untuk mengisi kuesioner menggunakan google form. Sebaiknya penelitian selanjutnya tidak hanya dilihat dan diukur dari pihak guru saja, namun dapat melihat dan mengukur literasi budaya dan kewargaan anak usia dini dari pihak anak, orang tua, pemerintah, tokoh masyarakat, serta dalam lingkup keluarga maupun masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the ABCD5E learning model in the national character cultivation development class at PAUD Labschool Unnes which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the ABCD5E learning model in the national character cultivation development class. The subjects in this study were the principal, class teachers, and students of the national character cultivation development class and GTK partners of the ABCD5E learning model. This study uses a qualitative method, through interview techniques, observation and documentation. Then the validity is carried out by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the ABCD5E learning model at PAUD Labschool UNNES shows comprehensive results in creating a holistic, child-centered, and character development-oriented learning environment. The results of the study also show that there are several supporting and inhibiting factors, namely collaboration between teachers and parents in project planning, support from academics (UNNES PGPAUD lecturers) and the education office in curriculum validation, supporting APE, facilities and infrastructure and curriculum flexibility that allows teachers to innovate according to their competencies. While the inhibiting factor is the difficulty of teachers in observing children one by one during the learning process.

Abstract

Children's development greatly benefits from the ability to recognize the alphabet because it helps them prepare to become readers. The purpose of this study was to gain an in-depth understanding of the emerging phenomenon in the field regarding the role of teachers in helping young children recognize letters. To collect data for this study, researchers used a qualitative research strategy, involving the collection of information from various sources, including journals, articles, interviews, direct observations, and field observations. Based on the research findings, teachers use various techniques to help young students learn to recognize letters. These techniques include phenotypic approaches, visual methods, and kinesthetic methods. Visual methods, which involve the use of letter cards or digital media, have made it easier for children to recognize letters and become more engaged in learning. However, some children still cannot distinguish letters, and teachers have noticed this has been happening since the beginning of the school year or after the lesson. The root of the problem is a lack of experience memorizing letters before entering school. Because it is so important for children's learning process, parents and the surrounding community also assist teachers.

Abstract

Computational thinking is an essential concept that has attracted the attention of early childhood educators over the last decade. However, not all kindergarten teachers have yet obtained information and ideas related to computational thinking skills. This study attempts to determine the effectiveness of active distance learning using a zoom video conference application in improving teachers' computational thinking skills. Furthermore, it also examines the teachers' progress in learning computational skills through online coding websites such as code.org and ScratchJr. A hundred and sixty-three kindergarten teachers from Central Java Province in Indonesia participated in the study. The study used a quantitative approach and employed a pre-experimental design, one group pretest and a post-test study. The data were gathered through pretest, post-test, and reflection of assignment records. We employed the Wilcoxon test because our data are on the ordinal scale. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was utilized to find out the significance of distance learning. The results show active distance learning effectively enhances teachers' computational thinking skills. Moreover, active distance learning provides an impressive experience to participants in improving their mastery of computational thinking.
