Abstract

Automatic watering are system that controlled by using type of code so that watering can be happen without human interference. In this case watering has an important role to help humans in caring for plants so that plants can grow properly, as well as the system sometimes can be failed this can make plants unable to grow properly. This failure can be reduced by implementing a fault tolerant system with hardware redundancy techniques in which the use of hardware redundancy makes a system have additional modules to minimize system failures. N-modular with spare is a hardware redundancy technique, This technique makes a system have a spare module where this module works to minimize system failure. In this system the microcontroller retrieves data from the capacitive soil moisture sensor using I2C, the data is forwarded to the voter. Voters will do majority voting where the voting results will be forwarded to the Disagreement Detector. The disagreement detector has the role of turning off the spare module, the active module and turning on the spare module. The module is deactivated when the data retrieved by the module does not match the other modules. The system can keep running as long as the module does not exceed the error limit of the system design. From the research, the system has successfully run according to the wishes of the testers and the system has been able to perform fault masking, detection and location and recovery. When the system was added using the n-modular with spare system, the reliability increased by 5.72% from 92.7% to 98.42%.

Abstract

Microclimate is an environmental condition in a certain limit area. The greenhouse microclimate is the environmental conditions inside greenhouse which include temperature, humidity, and light intensity. Tomato plants require optimal temperature and humidity conditions in order to grow properly. Mamdani fuzzy logic is used to calculate the length of time the heater and cooler are on based on the parameters of temperature and humidity in the tomato greenhouse. Therefore, in this study a microclimate monitoring system will be created on a tomato greehouse prototype with the fuzzy method and telegram application. The system created uses the DHT22 sensor to read the temperature and humidity inside greenhouse. ESP32 is used as the main processor with support that can connect to the internet. Then the results of sensor readings and fuzzy calculation results will be displayed via the LCD as well as the Telegram application. The reading error on the DHT22 sensor is 4.7% for temperature and 4.5% for humidity. The fuzzy calculations performed by the system to determine the length of time the heater and cooler are in accordance with calculations in mathlab with the same input. The Telegram application has succeeded in sending notifications on the results of monitoring and fuzzy calculations with an average delay of 9.07 seconds.

Abstract

Waiters in restaurants often experience problems where the waiter sometimes does not hear customer orders properly so that errors occur in ordering, or problems where the waiter also does not hear when a customer calls the waiters. Therefore, service providers must improve services so that businesses can run optimally. One solution that can be done is take advantage of technological systems that were created to help overcome existing problems, is the use of an ESP-NOW-based communication protocol system. Therefore, in this study, a waiter calling system was created to be implemented a restaurant by implementing the ESP-NOW communication protocol technology. From the results of this study it is known that the use of ESP32 and ESP8266 can be considered efficient in terms of power usage because the test results obtained power consumption data with an average of 0.1087W for ESP8266 and 0.6932W for ESP32. The cost of assembling a complete set of ESP-NOW-based terminal systems is very affordable, namely Rp. 671,980, when compared to using a smart tablet device with an estimated cost of Rp. 24,440,000. The use of ESP32 and ESP8266 paired with the ESP-Now communication protocol is suitable as a low-cost, low-energy alternative for restaurant information system devices because it has low latency. The prototype used in this study was sufficient for the requirements specified at the beginning of the study.

Abstract

One of the factors that affect quality of broiler chicken is its coop environment condition. Farmers need to maintain optimum coop environment by maintaining temperature at 20-25°C, humidity in the range of 50-70%, and ammonia concentration at 0-5ppm. These problems can be overcome by system that monitors coop environment, so farmers can take the necessary action to maintaining it. The size of the cage, which is quite large, is a blockage for system implementation. Based on these reasons, implementation of WSN can meet the requirements while increasing the flexibility of the system. But, WSN system has some deficiency, such as complicated and time-consuming configurations. Therefore, implementation of pervasive computation into the system going to reduce human intervention and time used for system configuration. Chosen pervasive computation is a sensor node that can identify other nodes and connecting each other to system network. ESP8266 is used to process the data and deliver it using wireless. Output of the system is a website. From the test result, node capability to identify other nodes with average of 56.67% at four locations. While to connect with WiFi network at a distance level 3 to 4 meter, 8 to 10 meter, and 15 to 18 meters, node time to connect averaging at 48.8575 second. At same distance level, service discovery found the system with successful rate average at 73.33%

Abstract

A wireless mesh network is a network,consisting of,a collection of wireless nodes that are connected to each other and then form a distributed network. Advantages of,wireless mesh network itself, namely in terms of flexibility, scalability and robustness, it is better than other conventional wireless networks. Characteristics Wireless mesh network It is also different from other ad hoc networks, which can be seen from the multi-hoop system, which can make connectivity capabilities in the network faster. In a plural environment, the connection is usually very constrained due to various factors such as trees, fog, and geographical conditions. In the research that has been done, the results show that the OLSR routing protocol has the best results for use on wireless mesh networks compared to other routing protocols on throughput and delay parameters. This research discusses the effect of constant and variable package delivery on a wireless mesh network using the OLSR routing protocol. The test scenario is carried out by changing the number of active nodes, namely 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, and 5, with QoS testing parameters including throughput, end-to-end delay, and packet loss. The best results of the throughput test were obtained from constant packet delivery in the scenario of 15 nodes with 206.43 kbps, which means it has a bad category, so there must be a limit on bandwidth to maintain the performance of the wireless mesh network. The best end-to-end delay test results were obtained for constant packet delivery in the five node scenario with 11867 ms, which means it has a bad category and will affect the performance of a wireless mesh network. The best test results for packet loss obtained from variable packet delivery in the scenario of 10 nodes were 63.466%, which means it has a bad category and affects the performance of the wireless mesh network because too much data is wasted.

Abstract

The most influential factor in broiler chicken coop farms is the ambient temperature. If the temperature is too humid, the temperature of the cage environment will rise so that broiler chickens feel hot and have difficulty breathing. Conversely, if the chicken coop is too dry, broiler chickens will feel cold compared to the temperature in the environment, which will affect productivity. The sistem that build using Fan Dc and Heater Lamp as actuator to raise temperature and lower temperature. This research is aimed at overcoming this problem by controlling the temperature of the broiler chicken coop. The parameter used in this research is temperature. The research uses the PID controller method to assist the system in controlling the temperature of the broiler chicken coop. The temperature sensor used is the DHT22, which has the advantage of digital signal output and a wider range of temperature measurements. The method used is PID, which controls the rotation of the motor for the fan, namely proportional control, which has a fast rise time, integral control to minimize errors, and derivative control to reduce overshoot and undershoot. The test results showed that testing the accuracy of the DHT22 temperature and humidity sensors compared to the hygrometer resulted in an average temperature reading error of 0.87%, based on testing the lowest PWM value, resulting in a value of 60 on the DC fan and 25 on the lamp dimmer, as well Kp : 4, Ki : 0.2, Kd : 1 gives the most optimal system response with steady state value : 27.9963, steady-state error : 0.004, settling time : 33962, overshoot : 0.01%, these values are the smallest test values of among other tests so that it shows that test 2 provides the most optimal system response.

Abstract

The development of cloud computing technology is one of the fastest growing technologies in the field of processing. Denial of Service (DoS) attacks are one of the main challenges for cloud computing servers because these attacks often occur on cloud computing servers today with various types of DoS attacks. Overcoming attacks on data contained in cloud computing requires a method to detect, prevent advanced threats and trap attacks. One of the suggested methods is using a honeypot. Honeypot is a system that is deliberately made to be attacked and exploited with the aim of being able to retrieve data carried out by attackers. Data mining techniques are the right step to predict and find out the vulnerability to suspicious packets in network traffic based on honeypot activity logs. The suggested clustering algorithm is the k-means algorithm. So based on the problems that occur in cloud computing, this study uses a honeypot that is implemented to be able to retrieve data and three levels of malicious attacks aimed at a cloud computing service called openstack. Honeyd honeypot succeeded in capturing data carried out by attackers when sending three types of DoS attacks, namely TCP Flood Attack, UDP Flood Attack, ICMP Flood Attack with three attack levels of low, medium, and high and with three attack times, namely 5, 10, and 20 minute. Based on the results of the implementation, analysis, and testing of the K-Means algorithm, it can classify three types of attacks and three levels of attack based on the data obtained by the honeypot honeypot.

Abstract

In this decade, the number of vehicles, especially cars, has increased very rapidly. Every year the number of vehicles increases by 5% including passenger cars, with this rapid growth making parking lors increasingly limited and uncontrolled. With the use of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) can perfrom measurable data collection with many predetermined nodes, with many of these nodes will cause problems in sending data that will collide with each other. The use of the Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) method on all nodes will overcome the problem of conflicting data, the use of this medhotd is also based on the Time-Sync Protocol for Sensor Networks (TPSN) which is able to make all nodes have the same local time to make it easier to send data. The functional testing results of the root nde, server node, and 3 sensor nodes successfully carry out the functionality properly. Three performance tests were conducted, namely time synchronization accuracy, timeslot scheduling performance, and success ratio in detecting parking vehicles. The results of testing the accuracy of time synchronization with the TPSN protocol obtained time accuracy results of 700-800ms. Test results of timeslot scheduling performance with TDMA method, data can be sent and in accordance with timeslot by 91,6%. And the test results of the success ratio in detecting parking vehicles in 20 trials of 95%.

Abstract

Lettuce is a vegetable with high economic potential in Indonesia. However, every year, lettuce production decreases due to disease disturbances in these plants. Observation of conditions in lettuce plants can be seen in the changes that occur in lettuce leaves by looking directly at them. To speed up the process of handling infected vegetables, we need a system that can accurately detect the presence of the disease. Disease detection in hydroponic lettuce is required to reduce crop failure risk and plan a strategic control effort. The number of diseases in lettuce is quite large, and the lack of understanding of the symptoms of the diseases makes it quite difficult for farmers to know which disease is attacking. Therefore, a system that is able to detect diseases on lettuce leaves is needed, especially in hydroponic lettuce plants. Tip Burn Detection System in Hydroponic Lettuce Using the Threshold Method on Hue Saturation Value Color is used to detect tip burn disease in lettuce leaves. This study uses a camera module as input for the detection process, then the captured images are processed on a computer to obtain detection results through a user interface application. This disease detection system uses the Hue, Saturation, and Value (HSV) color features, which are used to analyze the color changes of disease-infected leaves. In the disease detection process, the thresholding segmentation method was used with the results of normal lettuce leaves and tip-burn lettuce leaves. Detection of disease in hydroponically grown lettuce leaves using this method and 18 test samples produces an accuracy value of 94%.

Abstract

Untuk dapat saling berkomunikasi, router membutuhkan suatu hal yang disebut protokol routing. Terdapat bermacam-macam protokol routing yang bisa dipakai dalam bertukar informasi, salah satunya yaitu protokol OSPF dan juga IS-IS. Masing-masing protokol tersebut menggunakan algoritma yang sama ketika menentukan best path dalam pengiriman informasi. Terdapat banyak jenis serangan yang mengincar infrastruktur jaringan termasuk di dalamnya protokol routing, contohnya yaitu Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS). Untuk mencari tahu tentang protokol routing yang bagus dan lebih tahan ketika terjadi serangan DDoS perlu dilakukan analisis terlebih dahulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan jaringan dengan topologi Mesh, yang ditunjang dengan Graphical Network Simulator 3 (GNS3) sebagai media dalam menyimulasikan jaringan tersebut. Waktu konvergensi dan juga waktu round-trip akan diterapkan sebagai tolak ukur kinerja dari protokol tersebut. Semakin kecil hasil waktu konvergensi dan juga hasil waktu round-trip suatu protokol routing ketika terjadi serangan maka kinerja protokol tersebut lebih baik. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan salah satu dampak serangan DDoS dapat dilihat dari waktu konvergensi yang lebih lama dibandingkan sebelum terjadi serangan dimana pada protokol OSPF, waktu konvergensinya meningkat dari 42 detik ke 66 detik sedangkan pada protokol IS-IS terjadi peningkatan dari 72 detik ke 94 detik.
