Abstract

Nowadays, technological developments require various sectors to be able to develop their capabilities. One of the sectors that must follow the development of this technology is MSMEs as an important pillar in the Indonesian economy at a GDP of 61.07%. In its practice, only 9% of MSMEs have digitized, but another 30% have not implemented it and are still using conventional methods (manual) in their sales system. This manual method usually takes a long time and is not effective because it is prone to calculation errors that can hinder decision-making, such as errors in the inventory system and sales reports. Based on this problem, the researcher developed a point of sale application, namely WarunkQu, using the flutter framework to make it easier for MSME actors or shop owners to record and get sales reports. This research was conducted using the waterfall method because the problems obtained were clearly defined. This system uses the flutter framework to get output in the form of a mobile application that can be used on all android devices. The results of testing the WarunkQu application were carried out using functional testing (black box testing) with an average success rate of 100% and usability testing with an average value of 91. This value is included in the very good category and is assumed to be accepted by users.

Abstract

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a non-ministerial government agency that is directly responsible to the president and carries out statistical data needs for the government and the public. In developing village potentials based on a survey on the Central Statistics Agency's (BPS) webGIS display design, it was found that there were several problems that needed to be fixed. Problems that have been found such as effectiveness and efficiency in the BPS PODES webGIS design, and color mapping that does not differentiate from one legend to another. Therefore, this research needs to be improved and apply the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach as a design solution development and use usability testing to determine the value of interface evaluation and user experience. Evaluation of the user interface was carried out twice, namely on the user interface before repairs and after repairs. The first evaluation was carried out for understanding the context of use and validating existing problems. In the first evaluation, which was attended by 5 participants, the average value of effectiveness was 88%, the average efficiency was 0.0251 goals/second and 83.19%, and the satisfaction value based on the SUS score gave a score of 80.125. Meanwhile, for the second evaluation on effectiveness, it got a value of 0.0771 goals/second, for efficiency it got a value of 93% and the SUS score for improving the BPS PODES webGIS interface in the second session was 86.25 and was included in the A+ category (best imaginable) and exceeded the value The SUS percentile is 68 and it shows that the second session of BPS PODES webGIS user interface improvement related to the need for new features already has a high level of satisfaction. New features already have a high level of satisfaction.

Abstract

In the context of implementing e-Government in the application of Government Regulation Number 13 of 2019 concerning Reports and Evaluation of Regional Government Implementation in the implementation of regional autonomy policies as a whole. The Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy, the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province, operates a web-based application for online delivery of Local Government Implementation Reports. Evaluation is needed on the application service as an improvement in the quality of the application at a later stage. This study aims to develop these services, especially in the usability section and to design interfaces as recommendations for usability improvements. This study uses the Heuristic Evaluation and Usability Testing method which involves 5 users and 3 experts in the usability field. The Heuristic Evaluation Method consists of 17 heuristic problems which are divided into 1 cosmetic problem, 6 minor problems, 6 major problems, and 4 disaster problems. The Usability Testing method was carried out in 2 stages in the test, the test was carried out before and after the arrival of the user interface, it was found that the test increase from the third aspect tested, namely the effectiveness aspect with an initial value of 86% to 88% efficiency aspect with a value of 81.3% to 84, 08% and satisfaction with the initial value of 72.5% to 79%.

Abstract

PT Mahitala Bramanta Digital is an agency engaged in Information Technology Services that offers various digital solutions for company needs. However, the obstacles found by PT Mahitala Bramanta Digital are that there is no good company profile website user interface design that meets the company's and users' goals, and there is no user view of the website other than the company's internals. Based on the identification of the problems that occur, the researcher aims to produce a company profile website user interface design with a display that is able to meet the characteristics and philosophy of the company using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method. The HCD method is used to determine business processes and identify user use case diagrams in order to adapt to the needs and requirements of users and to suit the company's business goals. The evaluation used for the design of the solution uses the Heuristic Evaluation method which involves 3 evaluators. A total of 23 problems were found, then prioritized improvements were made to 12 problems that had an average severity rating of above 2. Repairs were also made to other problems based on the advice given by the evaluator and using the Usability Guidelines in the repair process so that it can be said that design solutions are in line with user reusability as well as company goals.

Abstract

PT. ABC is a pharmaceutical company engaged in gastroenterology, urology and oncology. This company relies on the sales force to increase product sales through visits or call visits to various hospitals in Indonesia. To improve sales force performance, sales managers want to increase SFE (Sales Force Effectiveness). SFE is a framework that aims to increase the level of effectiveness of the sales force by monitoring and directing sales force sales activities, one of which is with the help of an information system. Therefore, an information system is needed to make it easier for managers to monitor sales force activities in conducting call visits. The purpose of this study is to document the results of the analysis and design and evaluate the results of the analysis and design. This study uses an OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design) approach, which is, analyzing and designing a system based on the objects involved. The design is done by describing the Unified Modeling Language notation. The results of the analysis and design will be evaluated using the traceability matrix and cognitive walkthrough methods. The evaluation of the traceability matrix aims to define requirements and designs that are made to be traceable. From the results of the traceability matrix, it can be concluded that all requirements have been sequenced and can be traced. The cognitive walkthrough evaluation aims to determine the learnability of a product by running a product prototype. From the results of the cognitive walkthrough, it can be concluded that the interface has been accepted and is easy to learn.

Abstract

CV. Arsa Jaya Mandiri is a freight forwarding company for cars, motorcycles, trucks and heavy equipment. The process of managing data on the CV. Arsa Jaya Mandiri is carried out conventionally, such as income and expenses, which are carried out in a transaction book. Recording done in this way tends to be bad in terms of data security, and according to the company, there have been several errors in the calculation process during the recapitulation in preparing income and expenditure reports. Access to information about the company is still limited to outsiders, such as information about shipping costs and the company in general. Based on the issues raised, an information system was created to address data management issues and facilitate access to delivery information by the company's external parties. The waterfall method and the Laravel framework are used in the development of information systems. After system implementation, validation testing is carried out with black-box testing with a valid value of 100%, which states that the specified requirement specifications are appropriate. Usability testing as measured by the System Usability Scale (SUS) shows a final score of 78 for the developed system. This states that the information system is in the acceptable category with a grade of C, which has good adjective ratings.

Abstract

PT. AA Bersaudara is a construction company based in Palembamg, South Sumatera that provides construction services to build various facilities that needed by government or private institutions and organizations. In running its business, the company is required to manage its resources in order to achive its goal to keep the project on schedule. To address this need, the company requires a system that can accurately track and record project activities in real-time. This can help project stakeholders make the right decisions quickly. Based on this problem, a construction management information system was developed that can be used by project stakeholders, such as project managers and field managers, to manage project planning and activity data. In addition, project owners and company management can see the progress report of a project being carried out. The throw-away prototyping method was utilized in the development for this research because the users are not familiar with the use of information systems. Thus, the initial prototype developed can quickly give users an idea of how the system will be developed further. Therefore, the design made is suitable for the needs of the users based on input on the prototype made. Subsequently, the design that has been made is implemented into a complete information system and tested using testing techniques to validate that the system meets the needs of the users.

Abstract

Website IKIP Budi Utomo Malang is a website that provides information services to give various conveniences for IKIP Budi Utomo Malang's members, between campus institutions and external users. Based on the observations of researchers on the website, that the features and function on the website have not functioned optimally. So, the efforts of this research are to improve the quality of website services that need to be improved based on end-user perceptions with the aim of obtaining information on the results of the evaluation of the Budi Utomo Malang IKIP website using the Webqual 4.0 method and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and providing recommendations for improvement using the HHS Guidelines. The data obtained from the results of the end user's perception, by providing an evaluation of the level of performance and importance in 19 attributes of Webqual 4.0, obtained up to 106 respondents and were calculated by the IPA method. The evaluation results of the Budi Utomo Malang IKIP website have 4 quadrants : Quadrant 1 gets 6 attributes, Quadrant 2 gets 4 attributes, Quadrant 3 gets 5 attributes, and Quadrant 4 gets 4 attributes, which is on Quadrant 1 is the main priority that used as a recommendation to improvement using the HHS Guidelines, because the attributes of this quadrant have a relatively high level of importance, but not suitable with user expectations and the level of performance must be increased.

Abstract

Omah Kweni Homestay is a homestay accommodation located in the Bantul area of Yogyakarta city, which is a tourist city and can be a business opportunity in the hospitality industry. The homestay faces operational problems that are still conventionally managed, such as using a notebook that results in unreliable data storage, and the creation of reservation and warehouse reports takes a long time. To address these problems, a proposed solution is to develop a management information system that can assist in homestay management. The system development targets receptionists, roomboys, marketers, and managers. The Waterfall development method is used in this study because it is suitable for the homestay's parallel business processes where homestay requirements do not change. The use of the Waterfall development method is carried out in 4 stages. The needs analysis phase produces 6 business process models, 11 system features, 36 functional requirements and 1 non-functional system requirements, and 9 use cases and use case scenarios. The system design stage produces 9 Sequence Diagrams, 8 Class Diagrams consisting of class controllers and class models, 1 Physical Data Model, and 7 Wireframes. The system implementation stage results in the implementation of the design in the previous stage. The system testing phase using the black-box testing method produced 15 test cases and compatibility testing using the SortSite 6 Trial application with the results of 8 minor issues, User Acceptance Testing produced a percentage index of 90% for receptionists, 91.42% for marketing, 92.5% for Roomboy, and 97.14% for manager. The results of the user acceptance test show that all users agree with the development of the information system being developed.
