Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the role of the Regional Planning, Research and Development Agency (BARENLITBANGDA) as a planner in the economic development of Sawahlunto City. The type of research conducted is field research or field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques that the authors use are interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that BARENLITBANGDA of Sawahlunto City as a planning agency in the economic development of Sawahlunto City has a major role, namely planning economic development in Sawahlunto City. The economic development plan that had been prepared by BARENLITBANGDA for Sawahlunto City was submitted to the Mayor and discussed at the Sawahlunto City RPJMD meeting involving all parties related to economic development in Sawahlunto City. Benefits of research For the author to know more deeply about the role of BARENLITBANGDA in the economic development of Sawahlunto City.Keywords: Role, Obstacle, BARENLITBANGDA

Abstract

The evolution of Islamic financial institutions and the intensifying competition between Islamic and conventional financial entities in garnering public interest for savings and fundraising, it is foreseeable that Islamic financial institutions might encounter challenges. These challenges are intrinsic to the intricate processes of creating, conveying, and delivering value to customers, as well as effectively managing customer relationships for mutual organizational and stakeholder benefits. The objective of this research is to ascertain the impact of the marketing mix on the decision-making process regarding savings at BPRS Ampek Angkek Candung West Pasaman Barat. Employing a quantitative approach along with statistical methodologies, this study investigates the interplay between the Marketing Mix (X) and Customer Decisions (Y), with 96 respondents participating. The outcomes of the hypothesis testing reveal a significance value of 0.017, which is lower than the predefined significance level (α) of 0.05 (0.017 < 0.05). This statistical finding substantiates the existence of a substantial relationship between the marketing mix and the choice to save at BPR Syariah Ampek Angkek Candung West Pasaman Barat. Consequently, it can be inferred that the marketing mix significantly contributes to the decision-making process regarding savings. This research underscores the pivotal role of strategic marketing practices in influencing customers' decisions to engage in savings activities within the context of Islamic financial institutions.

Abstract

Rendahnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap bank syariah, terutama yang disebabkan dominasi bank konvensional, sebuah fenomena bahwa budaya dan persepsi masyarakat mempengaruhi keputusan menabung. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui sejauh manakah pengaruh budaya terhadap keputusan menabung; (2) untuk mengetahui sejauh manakah pengaruh persepsi masyarakat terhadap keputusan menabung; (3) untuk mengetahui sejauh manakah pengaruh budaya dan persepsi masyarakat secara bersama-sama terhadap keputusan menabung.Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survey yang termasuk kategori explanatory research yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan-hubungan antara satu variabel dengan variabel lainnya. Data primer diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 150 orang dan sampel sebanyak 44 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan rumus slovin.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara budaya dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap keputusan menabung di Bank Nagari Cabang Pembantu Syariah Simpang Empat. Budaya tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan menabung. Persepsi masyarakat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan menabung.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel budaya dan persepsi masyarakat secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan menabung dan hipotesis penelitianya teruji. Key Word : Budaya, Persepsi Masyarakat, Keputusan Menabung.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth following the enactment of Law No. 21 of 2008, which provides a strong legal foundation for its operations. However, the sector still faces various challenges, including competition from conventional banks and economic instability. One important indicator for assessing the effectiveness of fund distribution is the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), which reflects a bank’s ability to distribute financing based on the funds it has raised. This study aims to examine the impact of Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), and Return on Assets (ROA) on FDR in Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) during the period 2019–2023. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of five Islamic banks that meet purposive sampling criteria. Data analysis techniques include panel data regression with Common Effect Model (CEM), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM) estimations. The findings show that NPF, CAR, and BOPO significantly affect FDR, while ROA has no significant impact. Simultaneously, these four variables collectively influence FDR. These findings offer valuable insights into the management of risk and operational efficiency in Islamic banks to improve financial stability and financing distribution capabilities. This study recommends that Islamic banks strengthen financing risk management and operational efficiency to enhance FDR and financial stability. Abstract

Every company, whether public or corporate, is established to achieve certain goals. To achieve success, the foundation of competence needs to be considered. Factors are useful to help organizations improve performance. To support the performance of an employee, employees are needed who have performance factors in accordance with the needs needed in a company. This study aims to determine the factors of employee performance seen from indicators of performance knowledge, motivation, organizational culture of the performance of employees of the advanced palm oil plantation cooperative Pirbun West Pasaman in carrying out their duties or work. The research motede used is a qualitative method, data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of this study obtained the conclusion that the performance factors of employees in the advanced palm oil plantation cooperative (KPS) advanced pirbun pasaman barat are adequate. This can be seen based on indicators put forward by Spencer, namely performance knowledge, motivation, employee performance organizational culture. each of these indicators has been fulfilled in the employees of the advanced palm oil plantation cooperative (KPS) pirbun west pasaman.

Abstract

Studi ini melihat bagaimana pengetahuan dan status sosial mempengaruhi cara masyarakat melihat perbankan syariah. Sejak tahun 1990-an, perbankan syariah di Indonesia telah berkembang pesat, tetapi orang masih jarang menggunakannya, terutama di daerah pedesaan dan kelompok berpenghasilan rendah. Sementara itu, persepsi masyarakat tentang bank syariah sangat memengaruhi keputusan mereka untuk menggunakan layanan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis multiple linear regression, dan 177 orang berpatisipasi sebagai respoden penelitian. Disamping itu analisis deskriptif juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap perbankan syariah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat tentang perbankan syariah secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh status sosial mereka dan pengetahuan mereka tentang subjek tersebut. Orang-orang yang lebih berpengetahuan dan memiliki status sosial yang lebih baik cenderung memiliki persepsi yang lebih baik tentang perbankan syariah. Selain itu, perspektif masyarakat juga dipengaruhi oleh komponen risiko dan keuntungan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan literasi keuangan dan pengembangan layanan perbankan syariah sangat penting untuk memperluas jangkauan dan meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat, terutama di kalangan masyarakat ekonomi bawah. Hasilnya memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan kebijakan yang lebih responsif dan inklusif yang membantu pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih merata dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The background of this research is in Jorong Simpang Empat, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency. The main problem in this study is related to the Marketing Strategy for Pawn Gold Products at PT. Simpang Empat Pawnshop West Pasaman. Furthermore, the problem is divided into several formulations, namely: 1) What is the Marketing Strategy for Pawn Gold Products at PT. Pegadaian Simpang Empat Pasaman Barat, 2) What is the Strategy for Maintaining the Number of Customers at PT. West Pasaman Simpang Empat Pawnshop. This study aims to gain an understanding of how the marketing strategy for gold pawning products is theoretically or practically applied by PT. Pegadaian Simpang Empat West Pasaman and know more about how the development of gold pawning at PT. West Pasaman Simpang Empat Pawnshop. This study uses field research methods (field research), the type of approach is qualitative. The data sources for this research are the leaders and employees of PT. West Pasaman Simpang Empat Pawnshop. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. This primary data was obtained through interviews with informants, namely PT. Pegadaian is the head of PT Pegadaian Simpang Empat, West Pasaman. The results showed that the strategy carried out by PT Pegadaian Simpang Empat Pasaman Barat in increasing the number of its customers was carried out with the 4P strategy, namely product strategy, price strategy, place strategy, and strategy in the field of promotion (promotion). While the strategy to maintain customer levels is carried out by providing good service, namely providing discounts or promos, providing excellent service, digital pawnshops, and extraordinary seminars.

Abstract

Facts on the ground, when channeling funds there are requirements that are not well understood so employee performance is slow in the distribution process and human resources are still not good. The formulation of the problem in this research is the effectiveness of the utilization of Village funds in supporting the economy of the community in Gunung Tuleh Sub-District (case study of Nagari Rabi Jonggor). Jonggor). The theory used in this study is a theory related to effectiveness, village funds, the economy, and nagari. Effectiveness is a key element to achieve the goals or objectives that have been determined in every organization, activity or program. It is called effective if the goal or target is achieved as it has been found. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study show effectiveness at the level of achieving goals, a business can be said to be effective if the effort is achieved ideally, effectiveness can be said with relatively certain measures of the use of village funds that have been realized properly such as the work program of Nagari Rabi Jonggor in the fields of health, economy, and the social field. Abstract

This study examines the critical role of business characteristics in addressing the complexity of global challenges. The main objective is to identify and analyze key business characteristics that enhance resilience and adaptability in the face of international markets, technological advancements, and socio-political changes. Using a literature review method approach, this study seeks to further examine the critical role of business characteristics in addressing the complexity of its global challenges. The results of the analysis indicate that businesses that emphasize innovation, strategic planning errors, and strong stakeholder engagement are better equipped to manage global business. In addition, this study highlights the importance of cultural competence and sustainability practices as critical factors contributing to long-term success. These insights provide valuable guidance for businesses seeking to strengthen their competitive advantage and resilience in an increasingly connected world.

Abstract

Air bersih dan sanitasi merupakan salah satu persoalan yang belum tuntasterselesaikan di Indonesia. Tingkat ketercapaian peningkatan aksesnya masih rendah dan dibawah rata-rata ketercapaian secara umum. Pada tahun 2019 Sumatera Barat baru memilikikemampuan akses sanitasi layak 63,98 %. Artinya, masih ada sekitar 36,12% lagi daripopulasi penduduk yang belum menunjukkan memiliki kemampuan untuk mendapat sanitasisecara layak. Tersedianya akses air bersih dan sanitasi yang layak bagi masyarakat adalahmenjadi tujuan pemerintah jangka menegah. Namun, tingkat ketercapaian program masihpenuh tantangan. Sejumlah faktor disinyalir ikut berperan memperlambat ketercapaianprogram tersebut. Dimana diantaranya adalah persoalan kemiskinan dan tingkat pendidikandan pengetahuan masyarakat. Sehubungan sejumlah langkah dapat dilakukan, diantaranyamelalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan jalan meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka tentangair bersih dan sanitasi layak.
