Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal protection given to consumers of drinking water depots who experience losses due to exposure to Escherichia coli bacteria. The research method used is a normative juridical method by analyzing the Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 1999 regarding legal protection for consumers of drinking water depots. However, to support normative juridical research, empirical research is also needed to determine how the management of drinking water depots is carried out. The results of the study show that legal protection for drinking water depot consumers who are exposed to Escherichia coli bacteria is contained in various laws and regulations, such as the Consumer Protection Act and the Minister of Health Regulation concerning Water Quality Requirements for Sanitation Hygiene and Recreation Purposes. However, there are several obstacles in providing legal protection for consumers of drinking water depots, such as the lack of law enforcement against violations related to drinking water quality and the lack of public awareness of the importance of consuming safe and healthy drinking water. Therefore, efforts from the government and society are needed to increase awareness of the importance of drinking water quality and law enforcement against violations related to drinking water quality.

Abstract

AISnet For Students is an academic information system built by the Garut Institute of Technology to make it easier for students to carry out various campus academic administration activities online. This research aims to conduct sentiment analysis of online academic services at the Garut Institute of Technology by involving students as research subjects. This sentiment analysis will be carried out using the Naive Bayes Algorithm to explore student views and opinions regarding these academic services. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying potential problems that may occur in online academic services at the Garut Institute of Technology. Apart from that, this research also aims to provide recommendations that can help in improving the quality of these services. Research shows that students have positive sentiments towards academic services on campus. However, there are several problems that need to be overcome, such as technical problems and lack of features in the system. The solution to overcome this problem is to develop a user-friendly system, improve network quality, improve system features, conduct training or socialize the use of the system to students, and apply the latest technology and innovation in online student academic system services. The results of this research have the potential to provide benefits to educational institutions by helping to improve online academic services better. The results are expected to increase satisfaction and quality of services provided to students. Apart from that, this research can also be a reference or reference for further research related to sentiment analysis in the academic field or other fields. Where the Naive Bayes algorithm is used to analyze student sentiment towards academic services on the Garut Institute of Technology campus. The final results show that negative sentiment is greater than positive sentiment. Where negative sentiment is 54.75% and positive sentiment is 45.24%, this is because in the AISNet application most users provide reviews for the updates which are not real time. The following is the final result with an accuracy of 80.06%, a resolution of 83, 11 and recall 75.21.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students’ misconceptions of thermochemical matter at SMAN 8 Pinrang, and then remediate these misconceptions using a problem-based learning model based on multiple representations. The research method used is descriptive analytics. The subjects of this research were class XI F1 students. The data collection instrument used a misconception test of three-tier multiple-choice thermochemical matter with 20 items and an interview guide. Data analysis was carried out using percentages. The research results show that misconceptions occur in the concepts of system and surroundings, exotherm and endotherm, standard enthalpy formation changes, and determining enthalpy changes based on Hess's law. The misconceptions that occur in these four concepts are 1) students identify the container as a system, 2) in exothermic reactions the temperature of the system will decrease because it releases heat into the surroundings, 3) standard formation reactions are identified as being formed from molecules or other compounds, 4) many The reaction stage can affect the magnitude of the enthalpy change. The average reduction in misconceptions for these four concepts was 44% in the medium category. The average reduction in misconceptions for each student is 43% in the medium category.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth following the enactment of Law No. 21 of 2008, which provides a strong legal foundation for its operations. However, the sector still faces various challenges, including competition from conventional banks and economic instability. One important indicator for assessing the effectiveness of fund distribution is the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), which reflects a bank’s ability to distribute financing based on the funds it has raised. This study aims to examine the impact of Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), and Return on Assets (ROA) on FDR in Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) during the period 2019–2023. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of five Islamic banks that meet purposive sampling criteria. Data analysis techniques include panel data regression with Common Effect Model (CEM), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM) estimations. The findings show that NPF, CAR, and BOPO significantly affect FDR, while ROA has no significant impact. Simultaneously, these four variables collectively influence FDR. These findings offer valuable insights into the management of risk and operational efficiency in Islamic banks to improve financial stability and financing distribution capabilities. This study recommends that Islamic banks strengthen financing risk management and operational efficiency to enhance FDR and financial stability. Abstract

Judicial Review of Arresting Terrorist Based on Regulation of Counter-Terrorism’s Constitution Number 15, 2003 Chapter 28, by Taupik Hidayat, 2014142039, Department of Law Science, Faculty of Law, University of Kuningan.  This research is based on how organizing Counter-Terrorism’s Constitution Number 15, 2003 chapter 28. The purposes of the research are to find and analyze how Constitution of Regulation Organized, and to find out the role of Regulation of Counter-Terrorism’s Constitution Number 15, 2003 Chapter 28 to counter and resolves Terrorism Activity in Indonesia. This research method is using qualitative method with Judicial Normative approach by exploring another research inherent and secondary data. The result showed that protection of Terrorist’s suspect on Regulation of Counter Terrorism’s Constitution Number 15, 2003 Chapter 28, has no regulating of terrorist’s suspect rights yet. It means that the terrorists are arrested  by the Investigator Officer that has maximum limits by 7x24 Hour, it could cause torturing and many more will come that probably violating of the suspect rights and human rights at the same time. So that Chapter 28 is more subject to causing discrimination to terrorist’s suspect. Conclusion of this research is 7 days Arresting has no Reason, the arresting can only be done based on special condition stated on KUHAP, so that 7 days arresting terrorism’s suspect has no basic regulation because Pre-Arresting conditions is not fulfilled.   Tinjauan Yuridis Penangkapan Pelaku Tindak Pidana Terorisme Berdasarkan Pasal 28 Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2003, Oleh Taupik Hidayat, 2014142039, Program Studi Ilmu Hukum, Fakultas Hukum, Universitas Kuningan, 2017. Penulis melakukan penelitian ini dengan latar belakang yaitu bagaimana pengaturan tindak pidana terorisme pasal 28 Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2003. Tujuan penulisan skripsi ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaturan pasal 28 Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2003 Tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Terorisme, dan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis sejauh mana peran Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2003 Tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Terorisme dalam mencegah dan menanggulangi aktifitas terorisme di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis normatif, dilakukan yaitu dengan cara meneliti bahan pustaka atau data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Bahwa perlindungan pelaku tindak pidana terorisme dalam pasal 28 Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2003 belum mengatur hak-hak pelaku secara manusiawi, yaitu perihal penangkapan oleh penyidik yang dilakukan paling lama 7x24 (tujuh kali dua puluh empat) jam, membuka peluang terjadinya tindakan yang berujung pada penyiksaan atau perbuatan lain yang dapat melanggar hak dari tersangka dan hak asasi manusia.  maka pasal 28 rentan akan tindakan diskriminasi terhadap tersangka/terdakwa. Kesimpulan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah bahwa waktu 7 (tujuh) hari dalam penangkapan tidak beralasan, penangkapan hanya boleh berdasarkan syarat khusus KUHAP karena itu penangkapan selama 7 (tujuh) hari jadi tidak berdasar karena syarat-syarat pra penangkapan tidak terpenuhi.

Abstract

Peningkatan suhu global merupakan indikator utama perubahan iklim yang memengaruhi pola cuaca, kenaikan permukaan laut, dan frekuensi kejadian cuaca ekstrem. Penelitian ini bertujuan memprediksi dan menganalisis pola perubahan iklim, khususnya suhu global, menggunakan algoritma Gradient Boosting. Dataset yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari tahun 2020 sampai dengan 2024 dari platform Kaggle berjumlah 53 baris. Bedasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan Gradient Boosting hasil prediksi dengan menggunakan metrik evaluasi RMSE dan MAE menunjukkan bahwa metode ini menghasilkan error yang yang kecil pada CO2 Concentration (ppm), dengan RMSE nya 10.43, MAE nya adalah 8.92. Untuk Sea Surface Temp (°C), RMSE nya 8.57, MAE nya adalah 7.42, menunjukkan kesalahan prediksi suhu permukaan laut yang relatif kecil.

Abstract

Salah satu dampak dari pandemi Covid-19 adalah kegiatan-kegiatan yang biasa bersentuhan dengan masyarakat secara langsung menjadi terbatasi dan harus dilakukan secara online. Demikian halnya dengan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata yang dilakukan di desa Kota Wetan Kecamatan Garut Kota Kabupaten Garut, seluruh kegiatannya dilakukan secara daring dan disampaikan kepada masyarakat melalui komunitas maya. Dengan segala kelebihan dan kekurangannya, Kuliah Kerja Nyata ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang teknologi digital di masa pandemi. Apalagi, di era digital sekarang ini informasi mengenai teknologi digital tentu akan sangat dibutuhkan banyak orang, baik untuk pendidikan ataupun untuk kegiatan ekonomi. Metode pendekatan yang dipakai dalam Kuliah Kerja Nyata kali ini berupa penyampaian materi mengenai hal - hal teknologi melalui webinar, serta pre test & post test sebagai bahan evaluasi. Hasil akhir kegiatan ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai teknologi digital dari komunitas maya.

Abstract

Biodiesel memiliki potensi besar sebagai energi terbarukan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan Indonesia pada bahan bakar fosil sekaligus menekan emisi gas rumah kaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi potensi biodiesel di Indonesia melalui kajian literatur terhadap kebijakan, kendala, serta strategi pengembangannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review dengan menelaah 23 artikel terbitan 2015–2025 yang relevan dengan topik biodiesel. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kebijakan mandatori B-2,5 hingga B-35 berhasil meningkatkan produksi dan konsumsi biodiesel secara signifikan, implementasinya masih menghadapi empat kendala utama, yaitu ketergantungan pada kelapa sawit sebagai bahan baku, keterbatasan infrastruktur distribusi, hambatan pendanaan akibat biaya produksi tinggi, serta kompleksitas teknologi konversi. Strategi yang diusulkan meliputi diversifikasi bahan baku melalui minyak jelantah, limbah pertanian, dan mikroalga; pengembangan teknologi katalis heterogen dan metode intensifikasi proses (microwave, ultrasonik); optimalisasi subsidi dan instrumen fiskal; pembangunan infrastruktur distribusi di luar Jawa; serta kolaborasi internasional dalam transfer teknologi dan pasar ekspor. Kajian ini menegaskan bahwa dengan integrasi strategi tersebut, biodiesel berpotensi menjadi pilar utama transisi energi berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Abstract

Angka putus sekolah di Indonesia meningkat dari tahun 2019-2022 termasuk di kota Makassar. Berdasarkan observasi di SMPN 53 Makassar terdapat 7 anak putus sekolah dalam waktu 3 tahun terakhir. Tujuan program ini mengidentifikasi siswa yang berisiko, mengatasi dan mencegah terjadinya putus sekolah, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup siswa yang berisiko putus sekolah. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan bulan Juni hingga September 2023 meliputi: memilih indikator, mengidentifikasi siswa berisiko putus sekolah, penilaian kebutuhan dan implementasi kebutuhan siswa sasaran (kelas motivasi, pembinaan, kreativitas wirausaha, curahan hati, dan bermain), dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu adanya perubahan perilaku positif siswa, serta berkomitmen untuk melanjutkan sekolahnya. Hadirnya program ini menjadi solusi yang berdampak positif dan menjadikan sebagai program rutin untuk memitigasi siswa putus sekolah.
