Abstract

Dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan salah satu algoritma yang dapat digunakan adalah Algoritma FP-Growth. Dikarenakan Algoritma FP-Growth adalah Algoritma yang penyempurnaan dari Algoritma Apriori sehingga dengan menggunakan Algoritma FP-Growth kita akan mudah dalam mencari frequent itemse dan menentukan atau menemukan rule dari basis data yang besar. Dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan Algoritma FP-Growth yang bisa digunakan dalam mencari itemset dan menemukan aturan asosiasi atau rule sehingga akan membantu pimpinan dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan dari penerimaan dosen pada Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan.

Abstract

At the beginning of the 2022/2023 Academic Year, SMKN10 Merangin utilized the Maya Class learning facilities and infrastructure that used the Google for Education application. Even though the Google for Education application has been created for an account by each teacher at SMKN 10 Merangin, its use is still not optimal. The Google for Education application is Google's service for the world of education starting at the kindergarten, elementary, junior high, high school and tertiary levels. Google provides solutions for integrated communication by e-mail, calendar, and chat/discussion and collaborative solutions in learning activities. The Google for Education application is a series of applications with real-time synergy and collaboration between students, teachers and school staff that can be accessed using PC computers, notebooks, tablets and even smartphones. This includes email applications, calendars, sites, drives, groups, videos, social media that can be integrated with learning management systems at schools with Google acting as a vendor. The training program supported by the Merangin University research and service institute (LP3M) is running according as expected and successful by predetermined achievement indicators

Abstract

Fungi are one of Indonesia's potential natural resources which contain various benefits for human life. The existence of macroscopic fungi is not yet well known so that little information about the types and their benefits is known to local people. In fact, information about species of fungi is very important because fungi have economic value and are producers for the food and pharmaceutical sectors. Populations of macroscopic fungi can disappear due to climate change and environmental factors, therefore, it is necessary to collect data on the species of macroscopic fungi. One way to detect the species of fungus is to classify it based on the morphological characteristics of the fungus with K-Nearest Neighbor. The aim of this research is to explore and identify the morphological characteristics of fungi using K-Nearest Neighbor as a classifier found in the Bukit Selebu traditional forest area, Merangin Regency. It is hoped that the results of this research can be the first step in efforts to utilize fungi through further research. This research was carried out in the Bukit Selebu traditional forest area, Merangin Regency and identification continued at the Biology Laboratory of Merangin University. Then the data on the species of fungi found were analyzed using k-Nearest Neighbors (kNN). The results of this research are that there are 27 species of fungi found in the Bukit Selebu traditional forest area, Merangin Regency, consisting of 3 species of Ascomycota divisions and 24 species of Basidiomycota divisions. The K-Nearest Neighbor method is very good in classifying fungi through the extraction of morphological characteristics with the highest accuracy reaching 93%.

Abstract

Professional village governance demands a comprehensive understanding from village officials of the regulations that govern their duties and functions. However, the reality on the ground shows a significant knowledge gap. This community service program aims to enhance the legal literacy and capacity of the officials of Tanjung Mudo Village, Jangkat Timur District, through advocacy on personnel regulations. The program was conducted on March 3-4, 2025, using a participatory method that combined interactive lectures, case studies, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). To measure the program's impact, pre-test and post-test instruments were utilized. The initial assessment results showed an average participant score of only 48 out of 100, indicating a low level of understanding regarding their rights, obligations, and personnel procedures. Following the advocacy program, there was a very significant increase in understanding, with the average post-test score jumping to 85 out of 100. This improvement proves that the applied advocacy method was effective in bridging the knowledge gap, thereby empowering village officials to work more professionally, accountably, and in accordance with the prevailing legal framework.

Abstract

Plastic waste is one of the most pressing environmental issues in Indonesia. Plastic is included in the category of non-organic waste that is very difficult to decompose, because it is made of non-renewable chemicals. In the campus environment, the high volume of plastic waste is getting worse because many food vendors still use plastic as packaging, and accompanied by a low level of student understanding of organic and non-organic waste sorting techniques. The increasing amount of plastic waste will certainly have a negative impact on the environment. One approach that can be applied to reduce plastic waste in the environment is through the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). One form of the 3R concept is Ecobrick. The purpose of this Ecobrick training is as a creative solution for managing plastic waste in the Merangin University campus environment. This community service activity involved students of the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology and students of the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Merangin University. The method used is a participatory approach consisting of 3 stages: preparation, implementation (socialization and counseling) and the final stage. The results obtained are that this Ecobrick-making training has a direct positive impact on the campus environment, increasing students' knowledge in managing inorganic waste with Ecobricks and forming students' habits of disposing of waste in the correct place and caring for the environment. Furthermore, through training and direct practice of Ecobrick-making not only enhances students' creativity. Students' active involvement in processing plastic waste into useful products such as chairs, tables, shelves and flower pots thus raises awareness that plastic waste can be processed into something of high value.

Abstract

This community service aims to help students get to know the Practical Lecture (KP) of strategic planning prepared by the Head of Study Program and Deka for 1 (One). This document is a reference in the implementation of students in the community, including in the use of knowledge obtained during lectures, program implementation, and lecture activities in the community. The socialization of Practical Lectures (KP) is one of the strategic efforts in equipping students of the Faculty of Science and Technology (Saintek) to be ready to face the dynamics of the world of work in the digital era. This activity aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the essence, benefits, and procedures for implementing KP, which are directly related to the demands of competencies in today's industrial and professional sectors. In this socialization, the importance of mastery of technology, practical work experience, and the ability to adapt to digital changes as provisions for the career world is also emphasized. Through presentations from speakers from academic and industrial environments, it is hoped that students will gain new insights related to various opportunities and challenges in the midst of digital transformation. The results of this activity show an increase in students' understanding of the important role of KP in supporting career development, as well as a growth in motivation to prepare themselves more optimally in entering the world of work.

Abstract

This community service program aims to provide counseling to anticipate the negative impact of exposure to pornography on online media and its effects on adolescent behavior. The activity focuses on the millennial generation in Sungai Ulak Village, Merangin Regency, which is vulnerable to pornographic content due to easy digital access. The counseling was carried out by providing digital literacy and interactive communication methods to raise adolescents' awareness of the dangers of pornography. The results of the activity showed that many adolescents did not fully understand the negative impacts of pornography on their behavioral development. This counseling provided new insights and increased awareness of the importance of content selection on online media. In addition, the results of this activity are expected to serve as a reference in teaching Cyber Law courses. It is hoped that similar programs will continue to strengthen the younger generation's understanding of healthy digital literacy.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has brought numerous benefits to society, particularly in facilitating access to information and communication. However, improper use of social media can lead to various negative impacts, such as the spread of hoaxes, defamation, and copyright infringement. This community service activity aims to provide an understanding to the Youtubers community in Sungai Ulak Village about the importance of using social media wisely in accordance with the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The method used includes legal socialization and counseling with a juridical-empirical approach. The results of this activity indicate that participants gained a better understanding of social media ethics, related legal regulations, and ways to avoid legal violations. Through this activity, it is expected that the Youtubers community in Sungai Ulak Village can create more educational, positive, and legally compliant content.
