Abstract

This research aims to partially analyze the influence of environmental turbulence and organizational culture on financial performance and examine the role of human capital strategy as a mediating variable on financial performance in education technology start-ups in Indonesia. Descriptive research methods are used to collect data from founders/co-founders of start-ups. up which has been operating for more than five years, with the aim of gaining a deep understanding of the relationships between variables using causality theories existing in the literature. Primary data was collected through a questionnaire with 49 items that explored the variables of environmental turbulence, organizational culture, human capital strategy, and financial performance. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression to test the direct relationship between variables, as well as moderation regression analysis to explore the moderating role of human capital strategy in the relationship between independent and dependent variables. Research findings show that environmental turbulence has a negative effect on start-up financial performance, while a strong organizational culture contributes positively to financial performance. Human capital strategy was also found to act as a significant mediator between organizational culture and financial performance. The implications of these findings highlight the importance for start-ups in the educational technology sector to manage the changing environment by developing a strong organizational culture and adaptive human capital strategies. This not only helps improve financial performance, but also strengthens their long-term competitiveness in a competitive market.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires innovative learning media to improve the student learning experience. This study discusses the development of microlearning-based correspondence learning media designed for Vocational High School (SMK) students under the auspices of the Indonesian Association of Scholars and Office Administration Practitioners (Aspapi) in Jakarta area. The main problem in correspondence learning is the limited effective media to increase students' focus and learning independence. Students often have difficulty in structuring sentences when writing letters and are reluctant to think deeply due to the familiarity with informal communication through social media as well as a lack of knowledge of formal correspondence. This research aims to develop microlearning-based learning media in correspondence learning. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Dick & Carey development model, which includes needs analysis to summative evaluation. The respondents in this study are students of Aspapi's partner vocational schools in Jakarta. The results show that microlearning-based learning media significantly increases the effectiveness of correspondence learning. Students demonstrate better comprehension and increased learning independence thanks to concise and directed microlearning content, in accordance with their digital communication habits. Interactive and accessible media design also helps to overcome low literacy competence and student learning motivation.  Based on the above findings, it can be concluded that the development of microlearning-based learning media has proven to be an effective solution in overcoming challenges in correspondence learning. This media is able to improve students' writing skills, critical thinking, and learning independence, so similar innovations are recommended to be applied to other administrative and vocational subjects.

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji efektivitas komunikasi persuasif PT. Nugraha Suci Indoretail dalam meningkatkan jumlah pelanggan melalui metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana host siaran langsung menarik konsumen dengan mengadaptasi gaya komunikasi mereka di platform Shopee dan TikTok untuk mengoptimalkan interaksi pelanggan. Efektivitas strategi dinilai menggunakan analisis SWOT, IFAS, dan EFAS untuk merumuskan rekomendasi strategis. Menghadapi persaingan pasar yang ketat, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi elemen komunikasi persuasif yang efektif, meliputi penyampaian pesan menarik, pemilihan kanal tepat, dan penerapan prinsip psikologi konsumen. Melalui data kualitatif dan wawancara mendalam, riset ini mengevaluasi dampak strategi persuasif terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan komunikasi persuasif yang terintegrasi dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan pelanggan dapat meningkatkan jumlah konsumen dan loyalitas mereka secara signifikan.
