Abstract

Abstract - Design of LPG leak detector using figaro sensor TGS 2600-based microcontroller AT89S51 is used to detect leaks in the LPG cylinder. By making this tool writer wanted to know the ability of the sensor to detect leakage of LPG gas which is controlled by the microcontroller AT89S51 and marked with an indicator light and sound buzzer. The results manufacture of tools and has attempted to use the gas in the lighter, the sensor can detect gas leaks and will be sent by the ADC to microcontroller to be processed if the gas in a safe condition, the standby state or dangerous conditions. Data collected via literature methods, methods of design and test method. Microcontroller usage as a means to interact with todays equipment is controlled mostly developed. This is because the design is relatively easy and low prices. Microcontroller is a control equipment that is already widely used in industrial applications electronics, industrial machinery, and others. Microcontroller can be implemented in various types of industries and has many variants or types so that it becomes a control equipment that ought to be considered. The authors conclude that the gas leak gas detector is the right choice for use in security purposes. Keywords: Leaks, Gas LPG, Sensor, Microcontroller Intisari - Perancangan alat pendeteksi kebocoran gas elpiji dengan menggunakan sensor figaro TGS 2600 berbasis mikrokontroler AT89S51 ini berfungsi untuk mendeteksi kebocoran pada tabung gas elpiji. Dengan pembuatan alat ini penulis ingin mengetahui kemampuan sensor mendeteksi kebocoran gas elpiji yang dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroler AT89S51 dan ditandai dengan lampu indikator dan bunyi buzzer.Dari hasil pembuatan alat dan telah dicoba menggunakan gas pada mancis, sensor dapat mendeteksi kebocoran gas dan akan dikirim oleh ADC ke mikrokontroler untuk diproses apakah gas dalam kondisi aman, kondisi siaga ataupun kondisi berbahaya. Data – data dikumpulkan melalui metode literature, metode rancang bangun dan metode uji coba. Penggunaan Mikrokontroler sebagai sarana untuk berinteraksi dengan peralatan yang dikendalikan dewasa ini banyak dikembangkan. Hal ini disebabkan karena perancangannya  yang relatif  mudah dan  harga yang murah. Mikrokontroler merupakan sebuah peralatan kendali yang sudah banyak digunakan pada aplikasi industri elektronik, industri mesin, dan lain-lain. Mikrokontroler dapat di implementasikan pada berbagai jenis industri dan memiliki banyak varian atau jenis sehingga menjadi sebuah peralatan kendali yang patut untuk dipertimbangkan. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa alat pendeteksi gas kebocoran gas ini merupakan pilihan yang tepat untuk digunakan dalam tujuan keamanan. Kata-kata Kunci : Kebocoran, Gas Elpiji, Sensor, Mikrokontroller

Abstract

Mengingat seringnya terjadi bencana alam seperti gempa bumi di Indonesia, maka pada Penelitian ini akan mengimplementasikan PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) yaitu “Implementasi PLC LS XBC DR-30E Untuk Penanganan Dini Terhadap Gempa”. Perancangan ini dilandaskan dengan penelitian yang akan berlanjut, sehingga hasilnya dapat direalisasikan dan menjadi sebuah alat yang berguna bagi masyarakat, ilustrasi di tampilkan berupa konstruksi gedung sehingga dapat mengontrol sistem listrik yang ada pada gedung. Setiap data sensor yang diterima oleh PLC akan di proses menjadi sebuah perintah untuk mengontrol sistem kelistrikan pada gedung. Pada alat ini menggunakan data sensor dan push button sebagai input PLC yang merupakan awal proses dalam menjalankan sistem. Pada saat sensor mengisyaratkan gempa, PLC akan mematikan daya pada kontruksi gedung selain lampu, guna penerangan menyelamatkan diri dari gempa, kemudian lampu akan mati bertahap sesuai selang waktu ditentukan. Kemudian setelah tidak ada gempa, menekan push button akan mengaktifkan kembali sistem kelistrikan gedung. Dari hasil uji coba sistem berbasis PLC ini berfungsi dengan baik sebagaimana deskripsi kerja yang telah disusun sebelum pengerjaan alat ini

Abstract

Employee discipline is one indicator of an institution that has experienced an increase in good personal qualities. There are so many agencies that are developing and have a good image in the eyes of the public not because the products they produce are good but because of the discipline of employees or employees which causes service performance to their customers to increase. As is the case with the PSDKU Medan Creative Media State Polytechnic Campus, it can develop even better only by exercising discipline to its employees, both educational staff and teaching staff (lecturers). So far, employee discipline has only been monitored based on electric attendance provided by the university. But the problem is the existence of these employees in the institution. Very often some employees are not at the location during working hours so that it can reduce service to students or the community. Currently, on Android, there is GPS (Global Positioning System) technology that can provide location information where the user is during work hours. So by developing an Android application, it can access the location of application users which can prevent employees or employees from being in their proper place. This can solve the problems that occur at the PSDKU Medan Creative Media State Polytechnic.Kata kunci:  Monitoring System, Global Positioning System, Employee

Abstract

The use of electrical energy that is not used as needed will cause waste of electrical energy. This research aims to implement an IoT system for building electrical automation and monitoring the amount of electricity in a room. In this way, saving electricity and monitoring the amount of electricity can be done easily through the IoT system at any time and anywhere. The method used in this research is an experimental method, namely designing equipment according to the planned system and preparing a program according to the desired tool working system. The research object is the electrical load in three rooms consisting of three load groups, each load group is represented by a PIR sensor light, namely the equipment used is the PZEM sensor, PIR sensor, RTC, ESP 32, Triac, Optocoupler, and other supporting equipment. The results of the research show that the equipment has worked well and has been tested well, electricity savings are shown through the monitor on the Android cellphone using the Blynk application which was previously installed. Every time there is a person in the room, the PIR sensor always detects the object and activates the electrical load and vice versa. Besides that, the cellphone monitor screen also displays from time to time the amount of electricity used by the load, including the electrical energy used and the electrical energy that can be saved.

Gadets are no longer a luxury item but have become a necessity. There are many types of gadgets, from expensive ones to cheap ones that are affordable for the public. Abstract

Research on Electrical Equipment Security and Control Systems Using the Internet of Things aims to implement an IoT system for controlling electrical equipment and security systems. The owner of the security location will receive a phone call if an object is detected and can monitor and activate the alarm system while controlling electrical equipment. In addition to saving electricity, it is also intended that the detected object/human will change his mind. This system can be used anytime and anywhere. The specific target achieved is to implement a building security system and control electrical equipment using the internet of things. The method used is the experimental method, namely collecting data from the results of measuring electrical quantities in the system. The equipment used is the SIM800L module, PZEM sensor, PIR module-8 sensor, RTC, PCF8574, shift register 74HC595, ESP 32, Triac, Optocoupler, buzzer, contactor, and other supporting equipment. The results of the study show that the ability of the PIR sensor to detect objects has a sensitivity that is not all the same even with the same type, the sensitivity of the PIR sensor is influenced by the condition of the internet network, the location of the detection room, the length of the pir sensor cable to the esp 32, and the speed of the response of the designed system. Controlling electrical loads using the blynk application with contactor equipment can work effectively if the internet network conditions are stable, the effectiveness of using optocouplers and triacs allows the contactor to receive input quickly and responsively. Abstract

Unmanned aircraft or better known as drones have experienced rapid development in recent years. This technology has been used in various sectors, including military, agriculture, aerial photography, mapping, to surveillance and rescue. Along with the increasing demand and use of drones, skilled human resources are needed to operate and manage this technology safely and effectively. Lack of understanding of flight regulations, basic operating techniques, and drone maintenance can lead to the risk of accidents and violations of the law. Therefore, drone flight training for SMK Al Farabi Medan students is very important to ensure that drone operators have adequate competence. With this training, it is hoped that students can operate drones professionally, understand the technical and legal aspects involved, and be able to apply this technology optimally in their respective fields. This training also supports efforts to improve flight safety and more responsible management of drone technology.

Abstract

This training on the development of writing and coloring learning media was conducted with the aim of enhancing the competencies of teachers at Masjid Muslimin Kindergarten in designing and creating creative, educational, and engaging teaching materials for early childhood learners. Writing and coloring media play a crucial role in developing fine motor skills, imagination, and cognitive abilities in young children. The training activities included an introduction to the concept of writing and coloring-based learning media, worksheet creation techniques, and the integration of Islamic values into learning materials. The training methods used were lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, enabling participants to apply the outcomes in their teaching practices. The results of the program indicated an increase in creativity and teachers’ abilities to produce writing and coloring media that are appropriate for the characteristics of early childhood learners at Masjid Muslimin Kindergarten.
