Abstract

When this has been much studied extracts of herbs or traditional medicines, among other crops beluntas (Pluchea indica Less) and mahkota dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa (Scheff.) Boerl.) As an antibacterial. Previous research has suggested that the rind of the gods crown and root beluntas known to have antibacterial activity, but please be more certain with the same methods and evaluation in testing the antibacterial activity of both plants against bacteria Escherichia coli. Are both these plants have a vigorous activity the same or different from one another. The method used to test the antibacterial activity is using the disc. The results showed beluntas root extract has inhibitory activity against Escherichia coli was higher than fruit skin extracts gods crown with a minimum concentration of 6%, while the fruit skin extracts crowns a new god looks at a concentration of 12%. Based on the paired t-test showed that there is a significant difference between the antibacterial activity of root extracts beluntas with fruit leather crown god.

Abstract

Aloe vera (Aloe Vera L.) is a plant which commonly used by local people as moisturizer. The usage of aloe vera can be applied in form of peeled off gel mask with polyvinyl alcohol as gelling agent. The goal of this research is to determine the influence of increase of polyvinyl alcohol as gelling agent to the formulation of peeled off mask from aloe vera juice. The formulation was made in a few concentration, 10%, 12%, and 14% by adding 0,5% of aloe vera juice. After that, the formulation evaluated for 4 weeks about the organoleptics, homogenity, pH, drying time and viscosity. The date of pH test and drying time analyzed by using one way ANOVA statistically and then followed by Tukey HSD test and the viscosity analyzed by using Kruskall Wallis statistically which result in the significantcy less than 0,05 that mean there are difference in drying time and viscosity, on the other hand there is no difference in pH.

Abstract

Nitrite preservatives commonly be used in meat which cured like a meat burger with aim for obtaining the red color which same in meat, and more recently known it can inhibits the growth of clostridium botulinum bacteria. Excessive consumption of nitrit can cause disadvantage such as poisoning and carcinogen. The method can be used to detect compounds the nitrit in meat burger that is with qualitative analysis and using sulfanilic acid reagent+ naftiletilendiamin it will form purplish red and KI reagent+HCl it will form dark blue color or violet, then the analysis quantitative method using UV-Vis spectrophotometry at a wavelength a maximum of 548 nm to determine levels of nitrite contained in meat burger. The results showed of 5 brand sempel there are 4 positive samples containing sodium nitrite and then obtained the average levels of sodium nitrite in 4 samples of meat burger brand FN of 11.7508 mg/kg, ED brand of 5.5090 mg/kg, brand VG of 5.4228 mg/kg, and brand HM of 2.5981 mg/kg showed that the levels of sodium nitrite contained in each sample does not exceed the maximum limit the use of sodium nitrit as regulations BPOM head no.36 of 2013 on the maximum limit use of materials additional food preservative that is equal to 30 mg/kg that are safe to eat. The results of the validation of analytical methods is the correlation coefficients obtained 0,997; the limit of detection and quantity 0,126 ppm and 0,421 ppm; devisiation standard 0,1557, 1.91% correlation coefficients and precision tool 98,09%.  Keywords : sodium nitrite, meat burgers, UV-Vis Spectrophotometry, validation of analytical

Abstract

Masa nifas merupakan masa yang rawan bagi ibu, sekitar 60 persen kematian ibu terjadi setelah melahirkan dan hampir 50 persen dari kematian pada masa nifas terjadi pada 24 jam pertama persalinan, diantaranya disebabkan oleh adanya komplikasi masa nifas paling banyak perdarahan pasca bersalin Faktor–faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya komplikasi selama nifas diantaranya anemia, Kejadian anemia pada ibu nifas dipengaruhi banyak faktor yaitu kurang gizi (malnutrisi) atau kurang makanan, kurang zat besi dalam diet, malabsorbsi, kehilangan darah yang banyak (persalinan yang lalu dan haid), penyakit- penyakit kronik (tbc, paru-paru, cacing usus, malaria) . hasil survey awal 8 orang (80%) diantaranya tidak mengkonsumsi sumber protein hewani selama masa nifas dan 2 orang (20%) mengkonsumsi sumner protein hewani selama masa nifas. Dan 10 ibu nifas (100%) tersebut ternyata tidak mengetahui manfaat sumber protein hewani. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan Januari – Maret 2011, tempat Penelitian di BPS Sumiati Gribig,Subyek Penelitian pengetahuan ibu – ibu nifas tentang diit protein hewani, alasan yang mendasari hasil survey awal yang telah dijelaskan dalam pendahuluan  Sumber data ibu-ibu dalam masa nifas yang proses persalinannya di BPS Sumiati, Penelitian inii menggunakan prosedur total sampling yakni dengan mengambil obyek penelitian ibu – ibu yang melahirkan bulan Desember, Januari dan  Februari di BPS Sumiati, peneliti melakukan kunjungan rumah untuk mendapatkan data dengan kuesioner/angket. Adapun analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan bantuan program SPSS 13,5 , karena skala variabel nominal-nominal maka untuk menilai hubungan digunakan Chi Square. Hasil penelitian ini  Ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan Ibu nifas dengan Konsumsi sumber protein hewani pada ibu nifas namun kekuatannya lemah karena kofiesien kontingensi 0,404 kurang dari 0,5.

Abstract

Pharmacy is a pharmaceutical service facility where pharmacy practices are carried out by pharmacists, namely manufacturing including quality control of pharmaceutical preparations, security, procurement, storage and distribution or distribution of drugs, drug management, prescription drug services, drug information services, and drug development services, drug ingredients and traditional medicine One of the scopes in the management of health services is logistics management, which is a field of management whose specific task is to deal with logistics. Pharmacy nias medika there was no specific arrangement for the procurement of drugs with certain methods so that often there is a vacuum of medicine one of which is for drugs contained in a doctor's prescription that goes to the nias medika pharmacy. For this reason, it was necessary to control drug inventory using certain methods, one of which was by using ABC analysis. The type of research was descriptive and quantitative, based on the prescription entry by recording the name of the drug, the number of drugs, and the unit price of the drug and then processed using data analysis during January-May 2020. The results showed that there were 160 types of drugs based on prescription entry into the drugstore nias medika. With 32 types (20% ) drugs classified as group A with an investment value of 69.68% with laroton drugs which are in the highest position 47 types (29.37%) drugs classified as group B with an investment value of 20.25%, while 81 types (50, 63%) the drugs belong to group C with a total investment of 10.07%.

Abstract

In an effort to counteract skin irritation due to repeated use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, there is increasing interest in non-alcoholic alternatives incorporating natural antibacterial ingredients. This study focuses on developing a hand sanitizer gel utilizing ethanol extract from Averrhoa bilimbi L. leaves as an antibacterial agent, evaluating the effect of Carbopol 940 concentration on product characteristics. The aimed to develop a hand sanitizer gel that leverages the antibacterial properties of Averrhoa bilimbi L. leaf ethanol extract, by testing the effects of different Carbopol 940 concentrations (0.4%, 0.5%, and 0.6%) on product characteristics. The methods used included organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, and pH tests, with data processing using one-way ANOVA and Tukey HSD. Tye results of Organoleptic and homogeneity testing of all gel formulas on a weekly basis revealed consistent characteristics, with a yellow-brown color and a distinctive aroma characteristic of the Averrhoa bilimbi L. leaf extract. Furthermore, results showed that viscosity increased with the concentration of Carbopol 940, with the 0.6% formulation achieving the highest stability. However, all formulations had a pH range of 6.49 to 6.85, above the ideal skin range of 4.5–6.5. Quantitatively, significant differences in viscosity among the formulations were observed, while pH variations were not significant. The conclusion of the study confirmed that the Carbopol 940 concentration significantly affect viscosity, but further adjustments are needed to optimize the gel's pH to meet skin standards and enhance efficacy as a hygiene product.

Abstract

This activity aims to enhance the understanding and implementation of financial record management among stall owners at the Bumi Perkemahan Palutungan (Buper Palutungan) tourist site in Cisantana Village. Stall owners at Buper Palutungan play a strategic role in enhancing the attractiveness and welfare of tourists. However, a lack of understanding of financial record management can hinder business growth and effective financial management. The goal of this activity is to improve the understanding and skills of stall owners in financial record management, enabling them to manage their businesses more efficiently. The activity was conducted in March 2024 at Buper Palutungan with 25 stall owners participating. The method employed involved socialization through training and direct practice. The material was presented in a practical approach relevant to the needs of the stall businesses at the location. The results achieved have enhanced and increased a better understanding of financial recording among business operators. Positive implications are expected to improve the quality of their business financial management, which in turn can enhance competitiveness and contribute to the development of local tourism.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the capacity of teachers at Alazhar Asyarif North Sumatra's elementary, junior high, and Madrasah Aliyah schools in scientific writing and book authoring. The training is designed to equip teachers with the necessary knowledge and skills to produce high-quality scientific papers and to create books that can be used as teaching materials. The methods used in this training include presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice. The results of the training indicate an improvement in teachers' understanding and skills in writing scientific papers and books, as well as a strong motivation to continue developing these competencies.

Abstract

Currently, many production facilities are very concerned about the sustainability of their production processes. Generally, ICS users need suppliers to maintain production facilities, especially during the operation period. Therefore, response of supplier is important to recover the critical equipment of production facilities such as ICS in Indonesia. In this study, ORM (Operational Risk Management) was chosen as one of the independent variables along with Supplier Service Recovery to create customer satisfaction who do not have a service contract with the supplier. Strategy of suppliers is needed to find good after sales service. There is a research gap in this study between the expectations of ICS users and their Satisfaction without considering long-terms relationship and long term marketing /business plan. This is conducted using a quantitative approach. Data collection method is done by providing a list of questions and sent to users maintenance managers where are located with in Indonesia. The 20 questionnaires are developed according to each variable. The 5-point Likert scale is used. The tool of analyze is using the Structural Equation Model with the WarpPLS 7.0. approach. ORM is found to mediate the relationship between supplier service recovery and customer satisfaction but supplier service recovery will not give impact to customer satisfaction directly. The ORM and Supplier Service Recovery are proven to bring satisfaction to ICS customers.

Abstract

Teknologi berkembang sangat cepat saat ini, hal ini dipengaruhi oleh berkembangnya teknologi perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras yang dapat digunakan dalam berbagai hal. Perkembangan teknologi yang berkembang saat ini telah memasuki berbagai aspek kehidupan yang ada dimasyarakat, sehingga beberapa pola-pola kegiatan mengalami perubahan dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi di era 4.0 saat ini. Salah satu perkembangan teknologi tersebut dimanfaatkan dalam institusi pendidikan di tingkat perguruan tinggi negeri maupun swasta. Kegiatan belajar mengajar mahasiswa sedikit banyak juga mulai memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi seperti pembelajaran secara online, pembibingan secara online dan kegiatan lain yang dilaksanakan secara online.   Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut memudahkan dosen dan mhasiswa untuk dapat melakukan kegiatan tersebut dari mana saja asalkan terkoneksi dengan internet. Namun penerapan teknologi tepat guna tersebut, masih jarang diimplementasikan kedalam proses penyusunan dan pembimbingan Tugas Akhir mahasiswa.Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif PSDKU Medan Prodi Multimedia adalah salah satu program studi yang sedang berkembang dan menerapkan teknologi dalam kegiatan pembimbingan tugas akhir mahasiswa. Teknologi yang diterapkan adalah dengan menggunakan Software Framework Codeigneter. Selama ini proses pembimbingan tugas akhir dilakukan secara konvensional dengan menggunakan kertas sebagai media pembimbingan yang jika ada revisi akan menggunakan kertas yang baru sampai tugas akhir tersebut siap untuk di jilid. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah pengembangan aplikasi Framwork Codeigniter pada tugas akhir mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, Prodi Multimedia Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif dapat mengembangkan suatu website bimbingan tugas akhir mahasiswa secara online dengan menggunakan Software Frame agar dapat meminimalisir biaya dan waktu saat bimbingan. Hasil penelitin ini adalah uji coba pada mahasiswa Multimedia yang melakukan pembimbingan Tugas Akhir.
