The importance of communication increases development of information and communication technology in world so rapidly, especially in telecommunications equipment. Mobile phone or smart phone is one type of communication tools that provide communication services to a wide range of features offered but the services offered are not free. Handy Talky is applications and services to communicate for free with the use of smart phones based on Android and has a wifi enable this feature. This communication utilizing wifi network at a frequency of 2.4 GHz as to communication network. Test the application is done by trying on some of the features on a smart phone application with different specifications. From the test produced a smart phone that can run the application properly in some smart phones with Android operating system version 4.2 and above, and the smartphone is connected to a wifi network

Fiber optic cable is the fastest computer network transmission medium today. In addition to its ability to transfer data faster than other transmission media, fiber optic cable also has factors that can interfere with its performance, one of which is bending. Experiments were carried out on fiber optic cables that were given bending, then tested the data transfer speed for 60 seconds at different bending diameter variations. The results of the test with a maximum speed of 967.35 mbps at a bending diameter of 20 mm, then the speed decreases as the bending diameter is getting smaller, and the slowest speed is at a diameter of 6 mm with a speed of 4.15 mbps. The data was then tested using the validity test, normality test, linearity test and analyzed using simple regression analysis. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an effect of bending on the quality of data transfer by 41%.

The introduction of color to children under three years of age is done by providing and explaining objects favored by children, such as toys and food, which have certain colors so that children recognize colors at that age. Unlike adults, how to introduce color in children does require a different way, in addition to the objects and food, in this study the introduction of color in children is done by using the software that is installed on the smartphone using the image to speech. This method is expected to be more easily carried out and the results are expected to be maximum because of equipment smartphones today the price is very affordable and are often used by children ages two until three years old to play games.

Pada penelitian ini diusulkan sebuah metode untuk kriptografi sebuah teks dan kumpulan teks. Metode yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah permutasi dengan mengadopsi bahasa Jawa Walikan gaya Yogyakarta. Cara kerja Bahasa Jawa walikan ini dengan cara menggeser karakter sejauh sepuluh langkah. Pada Bahasa Jawa walikan gaya Yogyakarta, karakter yang dikenai pergeseran sepuluh langkah ini sejumlah dua puluh karakter yang terbagi menjadi empat baris, sedangkan karakter alfabet latin jumlah karakternya dua puluh enam. Agar terjadi pertukaran karakter sebanyak sepuluh langkah, maka diperlukan penambahan karakter dari dua puluh enam karakter pada alfabet sehingga menjadi empat puluh karakter. Terdapat empat belas simbol yang dimasukkan untuk melengkapi huruf abjad yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penggunaan simbol sebanyak empat belas buah terbukti membuat ROT10 menjadi bagian dari kriptografi substitusi dengan menggeser sepuluh langkah maju dan mundur dapat bekerja secara stabil tanpa ada kesalahan pada proses enkripsi dan dekripsi.

Advances in technology are increasing rapidly, especially in the field of information and communication technology provides convenience in exchanging information. One widely used communication tool today is the mobile phones which have facilities sending messages or SMS (Short Message Service). With the mobile phone application development, application technology of short message or SMS widely used for more general purposes, one of which is in the academic field. To facilitate the exchange of academic information, including financial data, grades, and exam schedules, distributed systems into tools that are able to provide and process information dynamically.To facilitate the exchange of academic information between the school and students, they invented a system that is distributed for the dissemination of academic information that can be accessed via SMS.Academic information dissemination system based on short message or SMS can enhance the effectiveness of the dissemination of information between the school and students. With a system of information exchange is expected to be faster and more controlled because the cost for all messages can be recorded.

The Admissions in the College of Technology Adisutjipto Yogyakarta, the committee has had PMB Computer Based Test (CBT) to test new students since 2010. However, CBT is owned by STTA not support randomization and answer questions about each exam so issued, the order of questions and answers will remain the same. Of the many random algorithm, algorithm Congruential Linear Generators (LCG) is an algorithm suitable for use in scrambling about in CBT because of the rapid process of generating random numbers and the algorithm is easy to learn and implement. By giving feedback LCG a current value of the length of time it will produce a different value in each random from the first randomization. With randomness about the cheating in the exam PMB can be resolved.

Wireless networks / hostspot using wave or signal transmission media. Waves or signals emitted from a device called an access point having a particular frequency. Signal beam is formed a circular pattern in which the antenna from the access point to the source signal. In a wireless network signal is captured and used a computer to be able to communicate with each other. PING technique is a method to double check the connection by sending data packets from the sending computer to the destination computer. This process can be seen from the travel time required to transmit data packets. So there is some problems how to convert time obtained from the PING into the distance. Algorithm Jawa can be used to convert units of time-based PING the wireless LAN / hostspot into the distance. Basically, two computers that are in a wireless LAN / hostspot will form a triangular pattern. This pattern will be used algorithm jawa to determine the distance between two computers within the wireless LAN / hostspot by utilizing modifications pythagorean theorem for isosceles triangular pattern and the large angle of 400.

Synchronization is the process of setting the course of several processes at the same time. Synchronization builds upon students' academic value table STTA Yogyakarta by comparing records for the records in the database. If there is a difference in the academic value of the table the different values will be returned as the value of the original with comparing by using the master database. Record based table synchronization is expected to address the security system on the database and provide security guarantees a safe and comfortable.Authentication is a process by which a user is identified by the server before the user using the network. In the process, the user is requesting access rights to the server to use a network. Authorization is the allocation of what services are entitled to be accessed by the user on the network. Authorization is done when the user has been declared eligible to use the network. Accounting is a process performed by the server to record all user activity in the network, such as when the user starts using the network, end user when the connection to the network, how long the user using the network, how much data is accessed from the network user.The results of the implementation of synchronization using a table based record system security authentication, authorization, accounting changes that may prevent the occurrence of data in a database, optimizing the use of stored, and enhance security systems at the database STTA center of Yogyakarta.

Designing a website is the first step to build website that gives the appearance of an interface to the website visitor. the appearence web design that interesting can be gived conveniences for visitors to browse the contents of any website content. designing of the website, skill are required several to be master multiple web programming languages, the programming language are HTML, CSS and Javascript. In the overall control of the programming language takes time to be master and understand each other codes. Therefore, to built application that allows users to create a website design. This application is called WebEditor is built using CodeIgniter and Twitter Bootstrap framework. In the rendering process design needed parallel processing techniques to the process. so, the impact in terms of rendering time speed to website design. Throughout this system, users can design a website easily and quickly, and in the process of rendering design does not require for long time. the results of study case have done that it can be seen that influences of the implementation of rendering speed transmission media based on the number of processors and computers server. The percentage of the speed to rendering of design does not using a grid server on the LAN network are 33.7 %, 33.3 % and internet routers 33 %. While using a part of grid servers on the LAN network are 33.6 %, 33.4 % and internet routers 33 % and the final grid using 2 servers on the LAN network are 44 %, 33 % and internet routers 26 %. So the highest rendering speed on the LAN router network for further 44 % and 30 % at the latest on the Internet 26 % by using 2 part of grid servers. Thus rendering the best in the website design is using LAN with 2 part of grid servers.

One way of written communication is to send a message to the others. With the current technological developments, written communication can be supported by the computer and internet media so that messages sent can be delivered to target internet users in a short time and geographical distance is no longer a barrier of communication. In communicating between countries is often used in English, but that will be an obstacle when the language used to write the message was not understood by the other person and vice versa. Seeing this condition, then there needs to be an alternative media to overcome these obstacles. One of them is to design a bilingual (Indonesian-English) chat translator application. The system was created using Delphi 7 as a programming language and Oracle as Indonesian and English vocabulary storage database. Through this system, users can send messages using Indonesian or English and receive messages according to language used. The result from the design of this application indicates that the application is able to translate the text that is sent into the appropriate language which is controlled by interlocutors. So it can be a solution to communicate although with different language. However, the ability of the translator is very dependent on the current record in the dictionary table, so the translation can be developed in subsequent research to be more complete and better.
