Abstract

This research examines the impact of a Trojan Backdoor Attack, referred to as a Gacor attack, on the security and service integrity of a private cloud environment based on OwnCloud. The experimental environment was deployed ubuntu server 22.04 using OwnCloud version 10.15.2 and supported by a Mikrotik CCR1016-12G network device. Application level and network level activities were monitored through Apache web server logs and Snort Intrusion Detection System (IDS) version 2.9.15.1, respectively. The investigation adopts the knowledge Understanding assessment defence (KUAD) framework, which structures the analysis into initiation, acquisition, execution, mitigation, and digital evidence disposition stages. The attack scenario focuses on exploiting a file upload vulnerability in the OwnCloud service to deploy and execute a malicious PHP-based Trojan Backdoor. The results show that the Gacor attack demonstrates highly repetitive and centralized behaviour, originate from a limited number of highly active IP addresses. This behaviour exploits weaknesses in application security configuration and results in system takeover and service defacement. Correlation between log analysis and IDS alerts confirms 10 distinct attack events and reveals a structured intrusion pattern rather than random probing activity. The data visualization reveals a structured and centralized attack pattern, resulting in 100% defacement of the OwnCloud index page, which highlights the severe security risk faced by private cloud environments that lack a adequate file upload protection mechanisms. The findings demonstrate that the application of the KUAD method, when combined with log analysis and intrusion detection systems (IDS) is effective in identifying, analyzing, and systematically documenting Trojan Backdoor attacks in private cloud computing environments.

Abstract

Styrofoam waste constitutes an increasingly acute environmental problem in Indonesia due to its non-biodegradable nature and widespread accumulation across various sectors. This study presents the design, development, and evaluation of a proof-of-concept prototype of an Arduino microcontroller-based automatic room sprayer — designated Aero-Spray — that utilizes recycled styrofoam as the primary structural material, shaped into a miniature representation of an Airbus A320-200 aircraft. The system was developed following the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) instructional design model, which enabled a systematic and iterative development process. The hardware architecture integrates a PIR motion sensor, servo motor, aroma spray module, LCD display, LED indicators, and a buzzer, all coordinated by an Arduino microcontroller. Comprehensive functional testing demonstrated that the PIR sensor reliably detects human movement at distances of up to 6 meters across all evaluated angles (0°, 15°, and 30°). The average system response latency from motion detection to spray activation was 3.8 seconds, while spray interval accuracy attained 98.34% of the programmed value. System power consumption was measured at 1.025 W in idle mode and 4.025 W during active spraying, yielding a total estimated daily energy consumption of 17.42 Wh to 28.16 Wh. Fragrance endurance analysis indicated operational durations of 15 to 24.5 days per 60 mL volume, depending on occupancy levels. These results collectively demonstrate that the Aero-Spray proof-of-concept prototype operates reliably under normal indoor conditions, validating the feasibility of transforming styrofoam waste into a functional, value-added, and environmentally responsible automated device.

Abstract

The requirement for a computer that is physically connected to a computer network to be able to access existing resources on a computer network in the form of an IP address obtained statically or dynamically. On a static IP address, there are not many problems that arise because it is loaded directly into the computer, while for a dynamic IP address, security problems arise in the form of a dynamic IP address sharing server in the form of DHCP Rogue. The configuration that is added to the first router when the network is hit by a DHCP rogue attack is to configure the main router, in this case, the first router, and the switch used as a connecting device between computers. configuration on both switches is done by snooping trust which is useful for securing IP addresses to avoid IP attackers. This research was conducted to find out if a computer network with a dynamic IP address was attacked by sending files between computers. Files with the longest sending time indicate an attack on the computer network. The method used in this study is the ANOVA test with descriptive-based analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the average file transfer time on networks affected by DHCP Rogue is higher than the average file transfer time on normal and mitigated networks, and the significant value of the ANOVA test results has a value of 0.004. In general, it can be concluded that there are differences in data transfer when the network is normal, the network is subject to DHCP Rogue, and the network has been mitigated with DHCP Rogue.
