Abstract

This paper consecrates to a comparative performance study of singly-fed and doubly-fed of induction generators thrusted by wind power turbine of similar generation capacity of 2.5 kW, and constant or variably wind speed. The singly-fed induction generator model could be represented using natural reference frame and doubly-fed induction generator model is described using a Park reference frame. Because of several physical domains existing in both induction generators like mechanical and electrical, modeling of generators is difficult, therefore the modeling based on physical methods takes a high credibility under these conditions. Among the procedures is Bond-graph method that models the systems based on law of mass conservation and/or law of energy conservation containing in the systems. Modeling the parts of both singly-fed and double-fed induction generators are based on Bond-graph method. We found that the impact of stator coil winding for on the current is in the form of changes of its value and steady state intervals; increasing the number of stator coil windings may also lead to increased stator current and the longer their steady state interval. Our study demonstrates also that doubly-fed induction generator possesses advantages compared to singly-fed induction generator, namely better current quality output and an adaptation to fluctuating wind speeds. The performance study is done in constant and variably wind speeds using simulated results of 20-Sim software.

Abstract

Makalah ini memperlihatkan laboratorium virtual untuk mempelajari peristiwa kualitas daya, yaitu voltage swell dan voltage sag, harmonik, dan flicker, yang digunakan oleh siswa untuk belajar dan menguji pengetahuan mereka tentang subjek terkait. Laboratorium virtual diperlukan karena dalam kehidupan nyata, dalam ranah kualitas daya, merupakan sesuatu yang rumit untuk menghasilkan peristiwa kualitas daya dalam memahami efek atau menganalisis fitur-fiturnya. Laboratorium virtual dianggap memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mempelajari terlebih dahulu aspek teoritis dari suatu mata pelajaran, kemudian menerapkan pengetahuan yang mereka kumpulkan ke berbagai bentuk isyarat, untuk mendapatkan karakteristik peristiwa dan pada akhirnya untuk menguji hasil yang mereka capai. dengan karakteristik isyarat tersebut. Terdapat dua manfaat utama pada penggunaan laboratorium virtual: pertama adalah siswa dapat melihat peristiwa yang berbeda, dengan karakteristik yang berbeda dan dengan cara ini, mereka lebih memahami fenomena tersebut; dan yang kedua adalah laboratorium konvensional untuk pembelajaran peristiwa kualitas daya sangatlah mahal, komponen utamanya memiliki biaya yang sangat tinggi.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming increasingly popular. IoT has been used to assist people in almost every field in their daily lives. IoT is used in a variety of fields, including agriculture, animal husbandry, automotive, and others, to work more efficiently and improve performance in order to achieve the best results. Researchers used the ESP8266 as an AC controller and Home-Assistant as a web application interface to create an AC remote for monitoring and controlling AC temperature in this study. The AC remote that we created aims to make it easier for room users to control the air conditioner from anywhere, at any time, and with any device as long as they have a browser, such as Firefox or Chrome. The system we developed can adjust the air conditioner's temperature based on the temperature settings specified by the user via the home-assistant web application. Users can adjust the temperature of their air conditioner using their smartphone or a laptop.

Abstract

This paper is to describe the use of Matlab as a scientific tool for the teaching of statistics in undergraduateschool. Application of this software in the teaching of some difficult topics like probability concepts, probabilitydistribution, statistical significance, and significance tests, were demonstrated using the Matlab. Matlab has proved it self to be a very effective tool in the educational process because it offers a simple and powerful tool for analyzing and visualizing results of numerical simulations and measurements.

Abstract

Abstract Total blackouts (on August 04, 2019) in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta have an impact to daily the economy and the cessation of MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) public transportation services, as well as public communication systems. The determination of the value of the voltage gradient for knowing of the black-out was used the method of analyses to the exposure of the electric fields under the Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines 500 kV, at the span of the tower T.434 and T.435 in Malon hamlet, Gunung-Pati village, districts of Gunung-Pati, Semarang city - central Java. The analysis of the electric field exposured has been carried out in a simulation using a Matlab softwere by solving the simultaneous equations model that corresponding to the tower configuration system and how many conductors were used. The results of the simulation showed that there was a failure of air insulation between phase conductors and the trees of Sengon (Paraserianthes-Falcataria) at a value of voltage gradient of 32 448.10 kV / m, 66 861.13 kV / m, and 33 129.75 kV / m, each were for the lateral distance of 10 m, 12 m, and 14 m from the tower axis T.434 and T.435. Abstract

This paper contributes to a modeling part of singly-fed induction generator (SFIG) systems driven by constant wind turbines of generation capacity of 2.5 kW. As a consequence of some physical domains present in wind turbine, that are aerodynamical, mechanical and electrical, the modeling of wind turbine is challenging; therefore, modeling based on physical techniques has a higher credibility in these conditions. One of these ways is Bond-Graph modeling those representations the systems developed from the law of conservation of mass and energy covering in the systems. Bond graph uses causal analysis which is a process for identifying and addressing the causes and effects of a problem; moreover, the model is presented visually so that they are easier and more user friendly. In this paper, modeling the parts of among blades, tower, gearbox, and induction generator are based on the bond-graph method. The blades are modeled based on aerodynamic force model, both tower and gearbox are modeled based on rigid components model, and generator is model based on hybrid mechanic-electric model. Then, all of parts are connected together to accomplish the entire model of wind turbine for simulation based on 20-Sim software. The proposed wind turbine is the 2.5 KW variable speed with three blades, two-mass gearbox, tower, and a singly-fed induction generator type which is used in small and isolated category power generation systems. The model consists of realistic parameters. Using the Bond-Graph modeling method makes it easier to know what is actually happening in the system, for example the direction of energy movement in the system. Simulation results point out better performance of wind turbine with singly-feed induction generator, namely a more constant output current under constant wind conditions compared to varying wind conditions.

Abstract

Variable speed wind turbines are suitable for isolated populations, island communities or usages in which the charge of electric lines beats the connection and upkeep charge of wind turbine. This research builds wind turbine which working over variable velocity of wind. The proposed construct incorporates three-bladed aerofoil rotor, gear box with ratio 1:8, three-phase doubly-fed induction generator, automatic voltage regulator and tower. Results verify efficacy of this installed structure at wind speed of 7.0-8.2 m/s. The proposed design generates power output at 3 kW, voltage per phase between 220 V, and frequency of 50 Hz; and exhibits noise just around 60-70 dB which is below the permissible noise threshold of 85 dB.

Abstract

Produk eco enzyme merupakan hasil fermentasi limbah organik yang ramah lingkungan dan multifungsi, seperti untuk pembersih alami, pupuk cair, dan pengusir serangga. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendukung penguatan kapasitas ekonomi masyarakat melalui uji pasar produk eco enzyme berbasis IoT yang dikembangkan oleh Rumah Sampah Ringas Trengginas di Bantul, Yogyakarta. Produk ini dinilai potensial, namun belum memiliki strategi pemasaran berbasis data. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyebaran kuesioner, distribusi sampel, wawancara, dan simulasi penjualan terbatas kepada 150 responden dari lima segmen pasar. Hasil menunjukkan respons positif dari konsumen, dengan tingkat ketertarikan tinggi dan potensi pembelian ulang yang signifikan. Temuan ini menjadi dasar penyusunan strategi pemasaran awal yang dapat diterapkan mitra secara mandiri. Hasil pengabdian ini penting sebagai langkah awal dalam memperluas pasar produk berbasis lingkungan dan teknologi, serta mendukung pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The priority classification of road maintenance is an important issue in regional infrastructure management. This study developed a classification model based on Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to determine the priority of district road maintenance automatically based on actual condition data. The data covered 141 road sections, reduced from 15 to 9 main variables using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), and normalized with the Min-Max Scaler. The ANN model consists of 10 input neurons, 30 hidden neurons, and 5 priority class outputs. The data is divided in a 55-15-35 ratio for training, validation, and testing. The model produces 92% accuracy, 91.7% accuracy, 90.4% recall, and 90.9% F1-score. These findings demonstrate the reliability of ANN in multi-class classifications to support more efficient road maintenance decision-making. The novelty lies in the integration of actual field data, multi-criteria classification, and the application of ANN in the context of complex and underexplored district roads in the literature.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara tropis dengan 11% wilayah tropis yang dapat ditanami dan dibudidayakan setiap tahunnya, hal ini memudahkan petani untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan masyarakat Indonesia, seperti kebutuhan pangan sayur dan buah-buahan. Kebutuhan pangan tidak dapat terpenuhi sepenuhnya dikarenakan tingginya angka pembangunan perumahan dan gedung bertingkat, hal ini menyebabkan berkurangnya lahan pertanian dengan rata-rata peralihan lahan pertanian menjadi lahan non-pertanian mencapai 100.000 hektar pertahunnya. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan keterbatasan lahan dengan smart greenhouse untuk budidaya brokoli green magic f1 (brassica oleracea var. green magic f1) media hortikultura, prototipe dirancang dengan menggunakan Esp32, DHT22, DS18B20, YL-69, Soil pH, RTC, Water Pump, dan Exhaust Fan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan merancang dan mengembangkan alat prototipe yang terintegrasi internet of things (IoT). Alat prototipe dirancang untuk menyiram tanaman secara real time (jam 07.00 WIB dan 16.00 WIB) atau otomatis (kelembaban 80%-90%) dan menstabilkan suhu greenhouse (18) yang dimonitor dan dikontrol melalui aplikasi Blynk pada ponsel.
