Abstract

The aims of this research was to identify the language politeness on short story in Crita Taman Putra rubric of Jaya Baya magazine as subject matters of Javanese in Junior High School at writing dialog involving parent’s basic competence. The result of this research concluded as follows: (1) the being maxim of language politeness of short story in Crita Taman Putra rubric of Jaya Baya magazine covering six maxims such as used maxim of wisdom, maxim of generosity, maxim of appreciation, maxim of simplicity, maxim of consensuality, and maxim of sympathy; (2) the background of the language politeness behaviour that was used in short story in Crita Taman Putra rubric of Jaya Baya magazine caused by four factors. Those were respect older people, respect people in the same age, teach and respect younger people, and match perception with other people; (3) short story in Crita Taman Putra rubric of Jaya Baya magazine relevance as subject matters with some supporting factors such as the used of language were understandable, the use of vocabulary that suitable with Javanese, and contain character education values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena penggunaan bahasa daerah oleh peserta didik kelas rendah sekolah dasar. Penggunaan bahasa daerah ini selalu dikaitkan dengan bentuk pelestarian identitas budaya suatu etnik. Studi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan wujud praktik pendidikan bilingual dan kecenderungan penggunaan bahasa, bentuk bahasa bermuatan kearifan lokal, dan keefektifan pembelajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan bahasa Indonesia berpendekatan pendidikan bilingual dan etnopedagogi. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed approach yakni pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data berupa 1) kata, frasa, dan kalimat bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Dawan serta kecenderungan penggunaan bahasa, 2) kata, frasa, kalimat yang menunjukkan kearifan lokal suku Dawan dan kata, frasa, kalimat dalam pembelajaran yang bermuatan kearifan lokal suku Dawan, serta 3) tingkat keefektifan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan bilingual dan etnopedagofi yang meliputi presentase pengelolaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, presentase respon peserta didik, presentase aktivitas belajar, dan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik. Data ini bersumber dari pendidik dan peserta didik di SD Negeri Lanaus, serta tokoh adat. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran di SD Negeri Lanaus, tampak adanya praktik pendidikan bilingual yang ditunjukan dari penggunaan bahasa pendidik maupun peserta didik di awal, pertengahan, dan akhir pembelajaran. Bahasa yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran adalah bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Dawan. Dalam proses pembelajaran tersebut, baik pendidik maupun peserta didik lebih cenderung menggunakan bahasa Indonesia daripada bahasa Dawan. Presentase penggunaan bahasa Indonesia adalah 71% sedangkan bahasa Dawan 29%. Selain itu, dalam pembelajaran tampak adanya integrasi kearifan lokal masyarakat Dawan yang menggambarkan implementasi pendekatan etnopedagogi. Praktik pendidikan bilingual dan etnopedagogi ini dinilai efektif karena presentase pengelolaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran 77% yang tergolong dalam kategori baik, presentase respon peserta didik 100% yang tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik, presentase aktivitas belajar 75% yang tergolong dalam kategori baik, dan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 77,17 yang tergolong dalam kategori baik dan tuntas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis campuran kode dalam naskah drama Kamit karya Gusmel Riyadh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara mendeskripsikan data yang telah ditemukan secara rinci. Sumber data penelitian yaitu naskah drama Kamit karya Gusmel Riyadh. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik catat. Data dianalisis dengan mereduksi data yang ditemukan dan dilanjutkan dengan mendeskripsikan data yang telah disusun dan dikelompokkan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan adanya 7 fenomena campur kode yang berujud kata, ditemukan juga adanya 2 campur kode frasa. Selain itu, ditemukan juga adanya fungsi campur kode sebagai penyisip kalimat, fungsi campur kode sebagai spesifikasi lawan tutur. Adapun faktor yang menjadi penyebab lahirnya fenomena campur kode yaitu penutur serta situasi. Penggunaan campur kode dalam peristiwa tutur menunjukkan bahwa seseorang memiliki sifat terbuka dan penghargaan terhadap kekayaan bahasa yang digunakan dalam berkomunikasi.

Abstract

Identitas profesional guru merupakan hal yang penting yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap guru. Identitas profesional guru Indonesia dapat diartikan sebagai seperangkat nilai, keyakinan, dan perilaku yang diyakini dan dipraktikkan oleh guru Indonesia dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan identitas profesional guru Indonesia di SMA Jati Agung Taman Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 guru Indonesia di SMA Jati Agung Taman Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Identitas profesional guru Indonesia di SMA Jati Agung Taman Sidoarjo terdiri dari empat dimensi, yaitu dimensi kompetensi pedagogis, dimensi kompetensi kepribadian, dimensi kompetensi sosial, dan dimensi kompetensi profesional. Abstract

The use of Javanese script in Javanese communication is increasingly experiencing an alarming degradation. Appropriate preservation strategies need to be implemented so that Javanese characters can be preserved and widely used again. The right effort is to carry out training in reading and writing Javanese script to the younger generation. The training activities are adapted to the cognitive level of the subject, namely learning while playing. This training was conducted at Sanggar Pelangi Surakarta with elementary school-age children as the subjects. The purpose of the training is to introduce and educate the younger generation to be able to read and write Javanese characters properly and correctly. The training was conducted with the help of ular tangga media which is recognized as accurate in optimizing the absorption of material for elementary school-age children. The training was carried out with the stages of preparation, delivery of material, playing ular tangga modified by including Javanese script elements, working on LKDP, and filling out questionnaires. The result was a significant increase in the trainees' understanding of how to read and write Javanese characters properly and correctly.

Abstract

The low literacy skills of students, the lack of teachers' role as facilitators, and environmental conditions that increasingly show an ecological crisis are the basis for the design of this research and the development of this supplementary book. The purpose of this study is to describe the process and results of developing an eco-pedagogy-based procedural text supplementary book and to describe the ecological awareness of students. The development of the supplementary book used the Four D Model (4D). The data on the development process of the supplementary book consists of descriptions of activities starting from the definition stage, the design stage, and the development stage. The data on the quality of the supplementary book consists of data on the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the supplementary book. The data on the ecological awareness of students consists of the level of ecological awareness. The technique used in collecting data on the development process of the supplementary book is the observation technique. The data collection techniques used to obtain data on the quality of the supplementary book were questionnaires, observation, and tests. Meanwhile, the technique used to obtain data on the ecological awareness of students was questionnaires. The results showed that the supplementary book developed was of high quality and could be applied in junior high school Indonesian language learning. In addition, the results also showthat students have ecological awareness after participating in ecopedagogical-based procedural text learning. Thus, the results of the development of this supplementary book greatly help students to have holistic competencies, namely to acquire positive attitudes reflected in ecological awareness, as well as to acquire knowledge and skills evident from the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

The purpose of our research is: (1) to provide and add references related to the contrastive levels of speech in Javanese and Japanese, (2) to explain the differences in the levels of speech in Javanese and Japanese, (3) to introduce politeness to the younger generation through the use of good and correct language. The research method we used was a literature study by prioritizing the results of the analysis of a reference as a reference for the writing data from the research we conducted. The results of the study show that: 1) Javanese and Japanese both have levels of speech in their use as daily communication tools as a form and parameter of politeness. 2) Javanese recognizes the level of speech in Javanese which is divided into four language varieties, namely, Ngoko lugu (Nl), Ngoko alus (Na), Krama lugu (Kl) and Krama alus (Ka). The level of speech in Japanese is classified into three parts and is used by considering the age or social strata of the interlocutor, how close or familiar the speaker is with the interlocutor, and paying attention to Uchi and Soto. Keego is divided into three parts, namely, Sonkeego (Sk), Kenjoogo (Kj), Teeneego (Tn). 3) Speech levels are introduced and passed down through examples of everyday life and through learning.
