Abstract

Indonesia sudah bergabung dalam Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) sejak 31 Desember 2015. Ini menjadi salah satu peluang Indonesia untuk mempromosikan budaya yang dimilikinya ke luar negeri secara lebih mudah. Salah satu budaya tersebut adalah budaya Minangkabau yang tercermin dalam novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck karya Hamka. Pengenalan budaya melalui novel ke luar negeri dapat meningkatkan wisatawan ke Indonesia khususnya Sumatera Barat sebagai latar novel tersebut. Hal ini bisa memberikan kontribusi untuk ekonomi Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan budaya Minangkabau yang terdapat dalam novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck karya Hamka serta pemasarannya dalam konteks MEA. Penelitian ini dikaji dengan pendekatan antropologi sastra. Datanya berupa dialog atau narasi yang mengandung budaya Minangkabau. Ada tiga wujud kebudayaan yang terdapat dalam novel ini. Ketiga wujud kebudayaan itu ialah (1) wujud kebudayaan berupa norma dan peraturan, (2) wujud kebudayaan berupa aktivitas dan tindakan masyarakat, dan (3) wujud kebudayaan berupa benda-benda hasil karya manusia. Strategi pemasaran budaya Minangkabau dalam novel ini dapat dilakukan dengan cara adaptasi novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck karya Hamka kedalam bahasa Inggris atau berbagai bahasa di negara ASEAN.Kata kunci: keunikan, budaya Minangkabau, novel tenggelamnya kapal van der wijck, MEA

Abstract

CAMPUR DAN ALIH KODE DALAM NOVEL KUKEJAR CINTA KE NEGERI CINA KARYA NINIT YUNITAAbstractCode-mixing and code-switching cannot be avoided in a bilingual society. Besides in daily utterances, code-mixing and code-switching are also used in language literature. The use of code-mixing and code-switching in literature is certainly based on its contexts. This topic is essential to study because it really reflects what it is in a particular society rather than the use of the language in terms of its beauty. In addition, it is closely related to the social and cultural life as a form of language as the tool of communication. This study is aimed to describe and explain code-mixing and code-switching with the function in the novel Kukejar Cinta ke Negeri Cina written by Ninit Yunita. Data are collected by simak method. The data are validated by triangulation theory and analyzed by padan intralingual method that refers teknik hubung banding menyamakan hal pokok (HBSP). The results of the study about code-mixing are outer code-mixing which are English, Mandarin, and Arabic languages and inner code-mixing which is Javanese language. The study result of code-switching is found externally that is the use of English, Mandarin, Indonesian, and Arabic. Keywords: code mixing, code switching, function, novel, Kukejar Cinta ke Negeri Cina  Abstrak Campur kode dan alih kode tidak akan bisa dihindari pada masyarakat dwibahasa. Selain dalam tuturan kehidupan sehari-hari juga digunakan dalam bahasa karya sastra. Penggunaan campur kode dan alih kode dalam karya sastra tentu berdasarkan konteks. Topik tersebut penting untuk dikaji karena sifatnya lebih nyata dalam merefleksikan apa yang ada pada masyarakat tertentu daripada penggunaan bahasa hanya dari segi keindahannya. Selain itu, erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan sosial budaya sebagai wujud bahasa untuk alat komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan campur kode dan alih kode serta fungsinya yang terdapat pada novel Kukejar Cinta ke Negeri Cina karya Ninit Yunita. Data tentang campur kode dan alih kode yang terdapat dalam novel ini didapatkan dengan metode simak, yaitu dengan cara mengidentifikasinya. Validasi data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teori. Data dianalisis dengan metode padan intralingual. Metode ini memiliki teknik hubung banding menyamakan hal pokok (HBSP). Hasil kajian ini diperoleh campur kode yang sifatnya ke luar, yaitu menggunakan bahasa Inggris, Mandarin, dan Arab sebagai wujud campur kode. Selain itu, campur kode bersifat ke dalam dengan menggunakan bahasa Jawa. Alih kode yang ditemukan bersifat ekstern, yaitu menggunakan bahasa Inggris, Mandarin, Indonesia, dan Arab. Kata Kunci: campur kode, alih kode, fungsi, novel, kukejar cinta ke negeri cina

Abstract

Background. Indonesian Language and Literature Education Students, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Jambi University annually accepts students who are very diverse in culture. However, in general, from year to year, it can be seen that the dominant students are students from Jambi, Kerinci, Javanese, Toba Batak, Minang, Bugis and Palembang Malay backgrounds. Purpose. This research aims to describe the types, functions and politeness of speech acts developed by students of Indonesian Language and Literature education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University whose mother tongue is from a multilingual background. Method. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data was collected from 28 informants. Data was collected using free listening techniques in various settings on campus, as well as recordings and field notes. Data were analyzed using the flow technique from Miles and Huberman through data reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques used triangulation techniques of theory and methods. Results. The research results can be seen from the types of illocutionary speech acts formed in multilingual student speech events, including speech acts; (1) commissive, (2) assertive, (3) declarative, (4) expressive, and (5) directive. Likewise, the function of expressed speech acts is a function; (1) competitive, (2) fun, (3) cooperative, and (4) conflicting.  Meanwhile, the politeness that is adhered to is; (1) Maxim of wisdom, (2) maxim of generosity, (3) maxim of praise, (4) maxim of humility, (5) maxim of agreement, and (6) maxim of sympathy. In terms of interference, speakers who are often interfered with are Minang, Jambi Malay, Palembang and Kerinci speakers, namely phonological interference. Conclusion. In terms of language use, those on campus are dominated by the use of Indonesian, because the average use of Indonesian is above average. However, the highest are speakers of Batak and Bugis languages.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon in novels with an intertextual approach. The focus of the research is the portrait of hijrah in the novel Assalamualaikum Beijing and the novel Kukejar Cinta ke China. In addition, religious and cultural values as well as hypogram and transformation relationships. The data of this research is in the form of dialogues or narratives that contain structural elements, religious values, and culture. Data collection techniques are carried out by document analysis and interviews. Data validation is carried out by theoretical triangulation. Data analysis is based on the Miles and Huberman model which consists of three analysis activities, namely: data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. The theme of these two novels is hijrah as a process of finding true love. The meaning of hijrah in this context is a change in the character of the character to become a nobler person before being met with a soul mate. All of this is illustrated in the characterization of Asma and Zhongwen in Assalamualaikum Beijing and Imam and Widya in Kukejar Cinta ke China. The novel Kukejar Cinta ke China as a transformation continues its hypogram because of the many similarities found in the two novels, both structurally and in terms of religious and cultural values. The inspiration  for the novel Assalamualaikum Beijing began with Asma's trip to Beijing before the Olympics, while Ninit Yunita got the idea to write the novel Kukejar Cinta ke Negeri China during the Hajj pilgrimage in 2003. Thus, the transformation deviates from the hippogram if studied expressively.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the linguistic elements of short story texts in the compositions of class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. The type of research in this study is qualitative. In this study, a descriptive method was used to determine and describe the linguistic elements of short story texts in the compositions of class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. The data source in this study was the short story text of class VII D students of SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi, observations of the linguistic elements of short story texts in student compositions. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. The data validity test in this study used the triangulation technique. The theory in this study uses interactive data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model which consists of four stages. The first stage is data reduction, followed by data presentation, and in the third stage, drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the short stories made by students as a whole do not contain one or two linguistic elements. In particular, students still have difficulty in using second person pronouns and inter-sentence conjunctions. The most common repetition elements are word repetition and phrase repetition. Most of the short stories made by students contain short story linguistic elements in the form of first and third person pronouns. And the short stories written by students often use intra-sentence conjunctions and only a few use inter-sentence conjunctions.

Abstract

Study This aiming For to reveal and describe various type act speak directives used by teachers in the interaction process learning eye Indonesian language lessons in class VII SMPN 10 Bayung Lencir , Musi Banyuasin Regency . In the research This give Contribution new in field study pragmatic learning Indonesian , especially related use act speak teacher directives in interaction within​ class . Research This use method descriptive qualitative with approach pragmatics . The data studied in the form of speech directives delivered by the teacher during activity learning ongoing . The data sources in study This is sentences that contain element act speak directives spoken by the Indonesian language teacher in class The data collection was carried out through Free Listening and Speaking (SBLC) technique . While that , data analysis was carried out through a number of stages , namely data collection , data reduction , data presentation , and data extraction conclusion . Based on results research , found six form act speak directives , namely : requests , questions , orders , prohibitions , giving permission , and advice. Speech request covers begging , inviting , and requesting . Speech question covers interrogate and ask . Speech order covers command , direct , demand , wish , instruct and regulate . Speech prohibition covers restrict and prohibit . Speech giving permission covers agree , forgive , allow , and grant . Speech advice covers suggest and advise. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan mendeskripsikan berbagai jenis tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses interaksi pembelajaran mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas VII SMPN 10 Bayung Lencir, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Data yang dikaji berupa tuturan direktif yang disampaikan oleh guru selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung unsur tindak tutur direktif yang diucapkan oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia di kelas tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC). Sementara itu, analisis data dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan enam bentuk tindak tutur direktif, yaitu: permintaan, pertanyaan, perintah, larangan, pemberian izin, dan nasihat.Tuturan permintaan mencakup memohon, mengajak, dan meminta. Tuturan pertanyaan mencakup mengintrogasi dan bertanya. Tuturan perintah mencakup mengomando, mengarahkan, menuntut, menghendaki, mengintruksikan dan mengatur. Tuturan larangan mencakup membatasi dan melarang. Tuturan pemberian izin mencakup menyetujui, memaafkan, memperbolehkan, dan menganugrahi. Tuturan nasihat mencakup menyarankan dan menasehati.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan antropologi sastra untuk mengkaji tentang nilai- nilai budaya yang terdapat dalam seloko adat perkawinan  masyarakat  Desa  Pemunduran  Jambi.  Adapun  teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori yang dikemukakan oleh Djamaris (dalam Darazah 2022), tentang nilai-nilai budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunkaan metode analisis deskriptif maka bentuk hasil penelitian berbentuk deskriptif kata-kata. Adapun sumber data penelitian ini diambil pengamatan dan penelaahan dokumen yang di ambil dari buku seloko adat perkawinan masyarakat Desa Pemunduran Jambi (2023). Dari hasil penelitian di temukan 5 nilai budaya yaitu 1. Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan meliputi: ketaqwaan, berdoa kepada tuhan, dan berserah diri. 2. Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan alam, manusia perlu menjaga dan melestarikan keindahan alam. 3. Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat meliputi: musyawarah, keadilan, dan kerukunan. 4. Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain meliputi: cinta,tolong menolong, nasihat, dan kepatuhan. 5. Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri meliputi: rendah hati, dan menjaga harga diri. Nilai-nilai ini mencerminkan kearifan lokal yang memperkuat identitas dan moral budaya masyarakat setempat.
