Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions of prospective science teacher students regarding creative thinking abilities. This study is an exploratory research with research subjects as many as 14 biology education students. The research instrument used is a closed questionnaire which has been developed referring to indicators of creative thinking abilities, namely fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. The questionnaire has answers using a Likert scale that has been validated by experts and declared valid. This research data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with the Anova test. The results of this research are (1) biology education students have an average perception score regarding creative thinking abilities, namely the Fluency indicator is 2.52 in the Tall category, Flexibility is 2.61 in the Tall category, Originality is 2.63 in the Tall category, and Elaboration of 2.67 in the Tall category; (2) there is no significant difference in students' perceptions of creative thinking abilities on the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration, as evidenced by the results of the Anova test with a significance value of 0.719>0.05.

Abstract

The PjBL model has been proven effective in developing critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity skills. Critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. However, its incorporation with ethnoscience, especially in Sasambo culture, has not been widely researched. This study aims to analyze the research trends of PjBL based on ethnoscience-based PjBL research trends globally and to examine the effectiveness of Sasambo ethnoscience-based PjBL in improving the understanding of scientific concepts and appreciation of local culture. of local culture. This research is a mixed research with descriptive quantitative and bibliometric design. This research uses 2 data collection methods: bibliometric analysis with the Publish or Perish (PoP) tool and data visualization through VOSviewer, to identify research trends on ethnoscience and PjBL. Trends in research on ethnoscience and PjBL, and a questionnaire for students' understanding of ethnoscience-based PjBL. About PjBL based on Sasambo ethnoscience. The subjects involved were 30 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the trend of PjBL-based ethnoscience-based PjBL shows great potential in strengthening high-level thinking skills. Skills. This study concludes that integrating PjBL and ethnoscience can be a practical approach in contextualized science learning based on local culture and contextualized science learning based on local culture. The implication of this research is that it is important to encourage the implementation of culture-based education in the formal curriculum to strengthen the connection between science and local wisdom among the younger generation. Among the younger generation.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the lack of practical training and mentoring for teachers in improving their pedagogical competence, especially in science learning. This study aims to provide a bibliometric review of the research trends of the Navigating Inspiring Strategy Workshop Action Transformation Holistic Implementation (NISWATHI) coaching model to improve science teachers' competencies from 2015 to 2024. This study used qualitative methods with bibliometric analysis techniques on 1000 journal article documents taken from the Dimensions.ai database according to PRISMA guidelines. The analysis was supported by VOSviewer software to visualise keyword trends and research patterns. The results showed publication trends peaked in 2019, reflecting significant interest in this topic. The dominant publication types were chapters and edited books, suggesting that this topic is often covered in comprehensive academic references. In conclusion, this research improves science teachers' competencies, showing significant development from 2015 to 2024. The implication is that this research provides strategic guidance for teachers, policymakers, and educational institutions in creating a learning ecosystem relevant to global needs and contextualised with modern educational challenges.

One of the Basic Competencies of Applied Science at Tourism Vocational Schools discusses waste handling in the tourism sector. This condition places Tourism Vocational School students as one of the main actors in implementing sustainable tourism. This study was conducted using quantitative descriptive research type. The strategy used in this study is an associative strategy. The research instrument in this study used a modified questionnaire from the Waikato Regional Council research report in 2013 entitled "Environmental Awareness, Attitudes and Actions and New Ecological Paradigm Combined Survey: A survey of residents of the Waikato Region ". The respondent sampling technique used in this study was convenience sampling, by distributing questionnaires to respondents using the Google Form application. 142 respondents completed the environmental awareness questionnaire. Abstract

Rendahnya literasi lingkungan menjadi salah satu penyebab terjadinya perusakan lingkungan.
