Abstract

Bayan Village has cultural value related to weaving production, which can be developed into tourism. This research aims to find out how social entrepreneurship is owned by the community in preserving and developing weaving businesses and to find out how the empowerment process is in Bayan Village. The research method is qualitative using interviews and observation to obtain primary data. The theory used is community empowerment carried out by stakeholders to preserve and develop weaving as a traditional cloth and the traditional wealth of the Bayan Village community. The research results show that existing entrepreneurship is still traditional with simple forms of business, local in nature, prioritizing wisdom and preserving culture. Increasing entrepreneurship is carried out through empowerment carried out by the village government, tourism service, trade service, community leaders, and UNESCO in various ways, including providing development funding assistance for weaving production, assisting weaving production by organizing various kinds of exhibitions held at the hamlet level up to provincial which is held in the provincial capital; various kinds of training related to weaving in the form of thread selection, natural dyeing, introduction to looms from India which are different from those in Indonesia and training in making motifs. Sustainable empowerment is carried out by providing education and training in weaving skills with motifs characteristic of Bayan Village. How children can become skilled at weaving is part of the curriculum and extra-co-curricular activities at school. Apart from school, children practice weaving in community groups after school to practice their skills and increase their income. The hope is that these various types of entrepreneurial efforts can improve community welfare.

Abstract

The main problem encountered in the field of education in Yogyakarta is the large number of children with special needs who do not get adequate educational services. Schools in the city of Yogyakarta tend to rejectandon the other hand, are lessaccessible to the crew. The number of complaints from the public push for education reformin the city of Yogyakarta, namely inclusive education. In 2008, drafted onthe concept of inclusive education policy in the city of Yogyakarta, which is then passed into the Mayor Regulation No.47 in 2008. With the inclusi on of education policy, the crew can obtain equivalent education with other normal children. A subsequent stage after the Mayoris Regulations Technical Guidance (technical guidelines) the implementation ofinclusive education. After completion oftechnical guidelines drawn up, the socialization and awareness of teachers in schools ranging from kindergarten tohigh school/vocational school in the city of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Jumlah difabel daksa di kabupaten Bantul termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dibandingkan daerah lain, terutama pascagempa tahun 2006. Meskipun pemerintah telah memperhatikan keberlanjutan hidup yang layak bagi difabel, namun sampai saat ini, program pemberdayaan yang dilakukan pemerintah belum memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi kemandirian dan life skills bagi para difabel daksa. Salah satu lembaga difabel yang berperan dalam program pemberdayaan ini adalah Paguyuban Bangkit Bersama (PBB). Forum ini merupakan wadah dari perwakilan DPO seluruh (17) kecamatan di Kabupaten Bantul. FPDB sudah memiliki berbagai macam kegiatan pemberdayaan, diantaranya pembuatan dan reparasi sepatu roda, kerajinan anyaman bambu, dan pembuatan meja kursi untuk cafe. Sayangnya, FPDB belum memiliki manajemen SDM yang bagus dan tertata rapi, di samping hasil produk dari program pemberdayaan yang sebenarnya sudah layak jual, namun proses pemasaran yang kurang dapat menarik pasar. Oleh karenaitu, melalui Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini akan diusulkan PRODADISA (Program Pemberdayaan Difabel Daksa) yang meliputi kegiatan assessment, kelanjutan program yang diselenggarakan PBB, dan evaluasi program pemberdayaan difabel yang selama ini telah dilakukan oleh PBB bersama pemda kabupaten Bantul. Tujuan PRODADISA adalah untuk: meningkatkan kemampuan difabel daksa anggota PBB dalam hal manajemen SDM; membentuk masyarakat difabel yang mandiri dalam berwirausaha; memberikan pelatihan teknologi informasi kepada anggota FPDB dalam mendukung usahanya; memberikan pelatihan menjahit dan pengembangan produk jahit yang marketable. Tujuan akhir dari kegiatan ini adalah FPDB menjadi percontohan Balai Kerja Difabel (BKD), sehingga sustainability kegiatan dapat terus terjaga.
