Abstract

Badminton is a highly popular sport in Indonesia, yet many rural courts lack essential support facilities, such as scoreboards and adequate lighting. These elements are crucial for ensuring the smooth flow and quality of the game during both practice and competition. The program aimed to improve the badminton court in Karang Indah village by providing a modern scoreboard and installing proper lighting. The project involved planning, material procurement, installation, and testing phases. The scoreboard enhanced the accuracy and ease of tracking match scores, while the lighting improved player visibility, especially during night games. The results showed a significant improvement in both the comfort and quality of gameplay, benefiting players, referees, and spectators alike. This initiative serves as a model for similar rural areas, promoting broader community participation in badminton and fostering a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Abstract

Karang Indah Village, located in Bojongmangu District, Bekasi Regency, faces challenges related to the underutilization of organic waste, particularly dry leaves and used paper. The accumulation and burning of dry banana leaves contribute to air pollution and environmental degradation. To address this issue, an eco-friendly recycled paper production initiative was developed by combining dry leaves and used paper to enhance the quality and durability of recycled paper. This initiative aims not only to support environmental sustainability but also to create economic opportunities for the local community through the development of recycled paper-based crafts. The program implemented various methods, including socialization, training, hands-on practice, and monitoring of the recycled paper production process. Participants were introduced to fundamental techniques in paper recycling, raw material processing, and product marketing strategies. The results demonstrated a significant increase in community awareness regarding sustainable waste management. Several participants successfully produced higher-quality recycled paper and began developing craft products such as greeting cards and book covers. Moreover, there was growing interest among the community members in establishing recycled paper-based businesses as an additional source of income. This program is expected to continue evolving as a model for effective and sustainable organic waste management, contributing to both environmental conservation and economic empowerment.

Abstract

Passing is an important basic skill in football that affects the effectiveness of the game and teamwork. However, low motivation in basic technique training such as passing is an obstacle in the development of young athletes' abilities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of individual passing and face-to-face passing training on increasing the training motivation of junior football athletes. The research design used a quasi experiment with a pretest–posttest approach two groups design. The subjects of the study were 24 junior football athletes aged 13–15 years who were divided into two groups. The motivation instrument uses a validated exercise motivation questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using paired t-test and independent t-test. The results showed a significant increase in motivation in both groups, with the passing group facing off showed a higher increase (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that social interaction in face-to-face training can strengthen the motivational aspects of young athletes.

Abstract

Public service at the village level is directly connected to the community, making service quality a key factor in evaluating government performance. However, Ridomanah Village still faces challenges in administrative services, healthcare access, and education quality. This community engagement program aims to enhance public services in these three sectors through a strategic approach. The method involves digital administration training for village officials, health literacy campaigns, and optimizing educational infrastructure. The program was implemented through training, consultations, technology dissemination, and advocacy. The results show significant improvements, including better administrative efficiency, increased health awareness, and enhanced learning resources for students. Despite some challenges, such as limited infrastructure and digital adaptation, this initiative provides a foundation for sustainable service improvements. Strengthening collaborations with health institutions, expanding digital access, and ensuring continuous evaluation are recommended to maximize the program’s impact on community welfare.
