Abstract

PLN UID Jawa Timur pada bulan oktober 2018 me-launching program terbaru diantaranya adalah Gardu Induk Tanpa Operator (GITO). Salah satu dampak dari program GITO adalah kurangnya pemantauan terhadap kabel outgoing 20 KV. Akibat yang akan terjadi bila kabel outgoing 20 KV tidak dipantau adalah breakdown atau kerusakan pada kabel outgoing 20 KV dan dapat berdampak buruk pada peralatan yang lainnya. Bahkan kebakaran akan terjadi bila kerusakan yang ada di kabel outgoing 20 KV sangat besar. Untuk itu diperlukan alat yang dapat memantauan kabel outgoing 20 KV secara kontinu untuk mengatasi dampak permasalah tersebut. Aspek yang perlu dipantau dari kabel outgoing 20 KV adalah suhu kabel outgiung 20 KV. Sensor yang dipakai adalah sensor inflamerah MLX90614 karena dapat mengukur suhu kabel tanpa harus menyentuh kabel outgoing 20 KV. Komunikasi yang digunakan berbasis IoT (Internet of Things) dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler wemos D1 mini. Pemantauan hotspot pada kabel outgoing dapat dipantau oleh operator gardu induk dan dispatcher menggunakan smartphone yang telah tersambung dengan internet secara kontinu menggunakan aplikasi blynk yang sudah terinstal di dalam smartphone. Sehingga hotspot yang terjadi pada kabel outgoing 20 KV segera dapat dilakukan perbaikan untuk menjaga kehandalan sistem ketenagalitrikan PT PLN (Persero).

Abstract

This scientific article presents a novel approach to address the challenges of shoe drying by developing a controlled shoe drying system. The system utilizes a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller with internet connectivity, enabling monitoring and control of the drying process via a smartphone application. By integrating temperature and humidity sensors, the system optimizes the drying time and prevents damage to shoe materials, thus ensuring the preservation of their quality. The research objectives were to enhance drying efficiency, reduce drying time, and maintain the integrity of shoe materials. Experimental methods involved the design and implementation of the system, followed by rigorous testing and evaluation. The results demonstrated significant improvements compared to conventional shoe dryers, reducing drying time from 1-2 days to an efficient duration. The implications of this research are profound, as the developed system offers a sustainable solution to shoe drying, contributing to the preservation of shoe materials and reducing wastage. The findings have relevance for the global footwear industry, with potential applications in shoe care services and consumer households alike. Abstract

Aviary is a large cage that is designed to resemble the natural habitat of the flora and fauna contained therein. The purpose of making an aviary is as a breeding place for several flora and fauna within the scope of the community. Apart from that, some people build an aviary in their yard as a place to channel their hobbies. The success of aviary development has many supporting factors, one of which is weather conditions. Many aviaries out there do not have a protective roof so that the aviary experiences bad conditions when it rains, considering that Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate where rain can fall at any time. Based on these problems, this research was carried out by designing an automatic roof prototype that was placed on the aviary with a working system to detect the conditions that existed in the aviary and to protect the aviary from exposure to heat and excess rain. The prototype will detect the light intensity value and the value from the rain sensor reading, when it exceeds the specified value limit the tool will work and the roof will be closed. Contribution of this research The application of this prototype directly has a success rate of up to 90% as long as the components used can work optimally. The contribution to this research is the use of the Research and Development method as a research method and the use of telegram bots as a monitoring tool in this study.

Abstract

Hampir di semua wilayah perkotaan banyak dilihat pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah pada bidang makanan kecil dan angkringan.  Pengusaha makanan kecil dan angkringan ini ketika beerkeliling atau menetap pada suatu tempat selalu kebingungan dengan energi yang digunakan untuk penerangan dagangannya. Mereka melakukan  penyambungan kabel ke rumah penduduk setempat untuk mendapatkan energi listrik. Beberapa yang lainnya menggunakan accu sebagai sumber energi. Yang mana saat accu sudah habis maka dilakukan pengisian kembali dengan menggunakan listrik PLN. Sehingga dengan permasalahan ini perlu dibuatkan suatu sistem perangkat Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) yang murah, mudah pengoperasian,  sederhana dan mudah mobilisasinya. Dengan dilakukan pemasangan PV dengan Solar Charge Controlle (SCC) dan accu dilengkapi dengan pengaman dan meter yang cukup. Maka pengusaha akan mendapatkan listrik yang murah untuk penerangan di malam  hari. Dengan analisa rencana pemakaian maka akan dapat ditentukan kapasitas Phtovoltaic (PV) dan accu yang akan digunakan. Seberapa besar nilai investasi dan penghematan yang didapatkan akan dipaparkan sehingga pengusaha akan mendapatkan nilai penghematan sebanyak 100 % pada tahun ke 3 usaha.

Abstract

Indonesia is a large country, so it does not rule out the possibility of natural resources owned by Indonesia such as natural resources coal, petroleum, gas, nickel and many others When we enter the industrial world, especially placed in the production process area, more precisely the process of sorting goods, it is very necessary to optimize the performance and results of the effectiveness of these working hours so as to get high performance efficiency and will get maximum yield. In the shipping section there are several occurrences of problems which include three main activities of the process of receiving, storing and sending when receiving or sending. We recommend reducing errors at the time of delivery of goods. As for the problem of empty packaging and calculating the number of inappropriate products, by providing solutions using loadcell sensors for weight, proximity sensors for automatic counters and using google sheets as data storage in real time using esp8266 as a controller module.causing performance effectiveness that is expected to be better automatically and using the sophistication of IoT systems connected to the web system.and supported by several Components include relays, pneumatics, googlesheets in order to get accurate results, product sorting tools using this loadcell will be compared with loadcell weighing devices that have been on the market in order to find out how accurately it has obtained the appropriate results using a volume of 103gr. The results of the entire test tool get accurate data ranging from googlesheet to reading through Lcd 20x4 testing is carried out five times so that this tool can be applied to other supporting tools.that the entire tool is able to answer the problems of the developing industrial world.

Abstract

To contribute to the development of electric vehicle technology in Indonesia, a data monitoring system has been designed to monitor and remotely control the condition of electric motorcycles. The device is designed using a nodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, voltage sensor, switch, button, Hall sensor, and buzzer. Data is processed and displayed on Blynk. Experiments were conducted on battery monitoring, speed, speed mode, crush control, and speed limiter alarms. Implementing the device on the Uwin Fly electric bicycle can serve as a reference for the feasibility of the device on other electric bicycles. Additionally, the development of electric bicycle monitoring displays and speed limiter features can increase awareness among electric bicycle users, especially mothers and children. Overall, the monitoring system could contribute to enhancing the safety and efficiency of electric motorcycles on the roads of Indonesia.Meanwhile, if the article is written in English, the abstract should be typed in English only. Abstract

This study examines the functionality and effectiveness of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems in maintaining power continuity in distributed networks. By employing observational and simulation methodologies, we assessed the operational dynamics of ATS systems when primary power sources fail. The results indicate that ATS systems significantly minimize electricity downtime through swift transitions to backup power, thereby enhancing system reliability. Despite the advantages, certain limitations were identified that could potentially impact system performance if not addressed. These findings have crucial implications for the management of distributed power networks, suggesting improvements in responsiveness to power interruptions and reduction in operational disruptions. Highlights: Seamless Power Switching: ATS guarantees uninterrupted power by swiftly transitioning to backup during outages. Resilient Network: Research underscores ATS effectiveness in minimizing downtime, crucial for robust power distribution. Addressing Limitations: Despite benefits, vigilance is needed to mitigate potential shortcomings for sustained system reliability. Abstract

Belum adanya perencanaan untuk menghitung besarnya kebutuhan daya listrik untuk pembangunan gedung baru yang mengakibatkan besarnya daya yang dibutuhkan lebih besar dari daya yang disediakan. Oleh karena itu analisa kebutuhan daya listrik pada Gedung Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo menjadi sangat penting. Analisis ini akan memberikan pemahaman tentang faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap tingginya konsumsi daya. Rumusan masalah yang terfokus adalah seberapa besar kebutuhan daya listrik pada Gedung Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan daya listrik pada Gedung Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang akan digunakan adalah metode studi literatur dan observasi lapangan. Setiap ruangan akan dicatat dan dianalisis kebutuhannya. Kemudian, data yang telah terkumpul akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya akan dihitung total beban daya listrik yang dibutuhkan Gedung Fakultas Kedokteran. Analisis data akan membantu mengidentifikasi pola penggunaan daya listrik dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan daya listrik. Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo memiliki luas 337,8 m2 dan 7 lantai. Setelah dilakukan analisa dan perhitungan secara keseluruhan di Gedung Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiya Sidoarjo maka dapat disimpulkan. Total daya yang dibutuhkan untuk penerangan dan AC dari lantai 1 hingga lantai 7 adalah 105064 watt atau setara dengan 105 KW.

Abstract

Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) poses a significant health risk due to long-term exposure to carbon monoxide-containing kitchen fumes. Installation of a cooker hood or kitchen smoke extractor with an automated fan is crucial for prevention. This study employed a research and development approach to evaluate the effectiveness of utilizing the NodeMCU ESP8266, MQ-7 sensor, 16x2 I2C LCD, and overall system configuration. Experimental results revealed the MQ-7 sensor's rapid response to smoke intensity changes, with an average 3.77-second response time and a range of detection up to 10cm. Relay testing for fan speed control, using three voltage inputs (5V, 9V, and 12V), categorized conditions as SLOW (PPM>10), MED (PPM <11 & >20), and HIGH (PPM>21). The tests demonstrated optimal performance, as the system successfully adjusted fan speeds based on varying smoke intensity levels, ensuring a healthy air quality environment.

Abstract

Solar Sel merupakan perangkat yang dapat mengubah energi surya menjadi energi listrik. Sumber energi listrik ini diciptakan dengan menerima cahaya langsung dari surya. Sumber energi ini dapat digunakan sebagai sumber listrik untuk peralatan seperti pengering kupang yang biasanya dilakukan dengan cara dijemur langsung di bawah terik surya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan PLTS dan heater untuk pengering kupang. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan dengan melakukan pengukuran pada besaran-besaran listrik, suhu dan kelembapan, setelah itu dilakukan analisa berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh. Proses pengukuran ada 2 perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dari kapasitas PLTS dan heater masih kurang efektif. Karena berdasarkan dari analisa pengukuran pada 2 perlakuan terjadi ketidakseimbangan hasil pengukuran temperatur dan kelembapan pada posisi 3. Pada perlakuan 1 hasil dari pengukuran temperatur mencapai 46,98 ? dan kelembapan mencapai 26,34%. Sedangkan pada perlakuan 2 hasil dari pengukuran temperatur sebesar 34,30 ? dan kelembapan sebesar 67,64%.
