Abstract

This study explores the use of IoT technology to enhance communication between Android smartphones and sumo robots, aiming to overcome the limited range of Bluetooth connections. By utilizing the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, the researchers achieved a connection speed of 4.6 seconds. Furthermore, the step-down circuit test with a 5Vdc power supply and the LiPo 3-cell battery test with a 12.54Vdc power supply yielded positive results. The Bts7960 driver was also successfully tested for clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. Finally, the maneuver test using the Blynk software showcased the robot's ability to respond to four commands—forward, backward, turn left, and turn right—via the IoT system. Highlights: Enhanced communication: Utilizing IoT technology enables improved communication between Android smartphones and sumo robots, expanding the range beyond the limitations of Bluetooth. Efficient connection: The implementation of the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller achieves a speedy connection with a response time of 4.6 seconds, facilitating seamless remote control of the robot. Abstract

Production cost calculation is a crucial factor that impacts productivity and profitability in the printing industry. This study presents an automatic print costing tool that runs on a spreadsheet and is intended to increase operational efficiency and calculation accuracy in Small and Medium-Sized Printing Enterprises (SMEs). With the use of Esp32 as a microcontroller, TCS3200 and infrared sensors, this project seeks to create an automated print pricing spreadsheet that would help printing SMEs swiftly and precisely determine product prices. This tool's components include an LCD to show the cost computation findings, an infrared sensor to identify the number of printed sheets, a TCS3200 sensor to determine whether or not colored paper is present, and a push button feature to resume the calculation and upload the entire cost to the spreadsheet. The instrument functions effectively and aids users in doing cost calculations in an efficient manner, according to the findings. Despite some challenges, such as slow internet connections that cause delays, to enable effective cost assessment poor internet connection. This strategy should decrease calculation errors and increase manufacturing cost management effectiveness.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The development of technology has a tremendous impact on human life. Work that previously required many large devices and was done manually, then with the development of technology, the work only requires a small tool and can work automatically, namely a microcontroller. The use of microcontrollers is very influential in the development of technology, many new tools have been created which are updates from previous tools, one of which is the process of making Printed Board Circuit (PCB) paths or also called the etching process. The etching process is carried out manually by immersing the PCB in FeCL3 liquid and then moving it manually for a few minutes, this is inefficient and can endanger users if it comes into contact with their hands. This study aims to develop the etching process so that it can work automatically and users can see the process through the Telegram application on their Smartphone. There are several factors why ESP32 - Cam is chosen as a microcontroller, including the camera feature that allows users to monitor directly in different places, besides that the ports are quite numerous and easy to connect to the telegram application
