Abstract

Performance management is becoming a major requirement for many organizations, due to a good performance management of an organization can make it easier to achieve objectives, further impacts are as an advantage acceleration of sustainable organizations.   PT. PJB Surabaya conducts performance management through the creation of a compensation system and employee career management. Compensation system that is applied is in the context of employee performance management is through a system of remuneration and incentives for the employees, while the management system of the careers of employees are done transparently and equitable for every employee to prepare the employees who have integrity and high competence, and professional in carrying out the companys vision and mission. The purpose of this study was to determine how performance management is conducted by PT PJB Surabaya, as well as how is the designs of the compensation system and career management that are conducted by PT PJB Surabaya in order to do the performance management. This research is a study case, which uses primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires, in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, while secondary data obtained through observation and analysis of documents. The findings obtained from this research is to know about the compensation system and career management that are conducted for performance management of employees, so PT PJB Surabaya is capable of accelerating sustainable organizational excellence.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Sri Rejeki Desa Bogo merupakan kelompok yang dibentuk oleh Bumdes Desa Bogo dalam bidang produksi berbagai macam produk berbasis kelor, antara lain teh dan serbuk kelor. Kualitas dan desain kemasan kedua produk yang selama ini digunakan masih terbatas dari segi stabilitas dan belum memberikan ciri khas produk. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan program pengembangan desain kemasan ini adalah untuk melakukan perbaikan kemasan kedua produk melalui pemilihan bahan kemas yang optimal, pemilihan komposisi warna yang meningkatkan atensi konsumen, penambahan logo ciri khas produk dan informasi produk. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pelatihan konsep desain kemasan, pendampingan penyusunan prototipe kemasan, dan aplikasi kemasan baru pada produk. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan KWT Sri Rejeki, tim PPDM Sentra Kelor, Bumdes Langgeng Makmur, dan Pemerintah Desa Bogo. Hasil program ini adalah kemasan baru untuk produk teh dan serbuk daun kelor dengan kualitas yang lebih baik, desain yang lebih menarik, dan terdapat informasi serta ciri khas produk. Penjualan produk mengalami peningkatan dan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap kualitas produk meningkat setelah digunakan kemasan baru luaran program ini.  Abstract:  Sri Rejeki Farming Women Group of Bogo village (KWT) is a group formed by Bumdes Desa Bogo in the production of various types of moringa-based products, including tea and moringa powder. The quality and packaging design of the two products which was previously used are still limited in terms of stability and do not yet provide product characteristics. The aim of implementing this packaging design development program is to renew the packaging of the two products by selecting optimal packaging materials, adjusting color compositions that increase consumer preferences, implementing product characteristic logos and product information. The method of implementing these activities is carried out through training on packaging design concepts, assistance in the preparation of packaging prototypes, and application of new packaging to the products. The implementation of this activity involved KWT Sri Rejeki, PPDM Sentra Kelor team, Bumdes Langgeng Makmur, and the Bogo Village Government. The result of this program is the new packaging for tea products and Moringa leaf powder with better quality, more attractive design, additional product information and, product characteristics. Product sales have increased and consumer confidence in product quality has increased after the use of new packaging resulted from this program.

Abstract

Desa Bogo merupakan desa yang terletak di Bojonegoro dan memiliki potensi alam tanaman kelor. Daun kelor mengandung berbagai macam senyawa yang bermanfaat untuk kesehatan kulit. Kandungan senyawa fenolik dan antioksidan pada daun kelor bermanfaat untuk melindungi kulit dari radikal bebas dan menghambat penuaan kulit. Berdasarkan potensi tersebut, Tim PPDM Sentra Kelor Desa Bogo dari Universitas Surabaya menginisiasi suatu program pelatihan pengolahan serbuk daun kelor menjadi produk pemeliharaan kulit. Tujuan dari pelatihan tersebut adalah memberdayakan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Sri Rejeki dan BUMDES Langgeng Makmur untuk melakukan pengolahan daun kelor menjadi sabun mandi padat alami. Luaran dari pelatihan tersebut adalah peningkatan ketrampilan, pengetahuan, kesehatan, dan pendapatan masyarakat desa Bogo. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan tersebut adalah pelatihan (ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan demonstrasi), difusi teknologi tepat guna, dan advokasi (pendampingan). Hasil dari pelaksanaan program ini adalah produk sabun mandi padat alami berbasis daun kelor sebagai varian produk kelor Desa Bogo. Selain itu, KWT Sri Rejeki juga telah mampu melaksanakan produksi sabun padat secara konsisten berdasarkan prosedur operasional standar. Melalui kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa diversifikasi produk berupa sabun kelor mampu meningkatkan daya tarik masyarakat sekitar dalam pemanfaatan kelor bagi kesehatan kulit sehingga meningkatkan pendapatan warga Desa Bogo melalui penjualan produk.

Abstract

Kebontunggul village (Gondang district, Mojokerto, East Java, Indonesia) is abundant in teak (Tectona grandis L.) leaves, but their utilization is still lacking. Based on this potential, supported financially by Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology/Kemendikbudristek) University of Surabaya (UBAYA) and Widya Mandala Surabaya Catholic University (WMSCU) collaborated with Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Village-owned Enterprise/BUMDes) Gajah Mada, Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Tourism Awareness Group/Pokdarwis), and Organisasi Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (Family Welfare and Empowerment Organization/PKK) Kebontunggul village in Pemberdayaan Desa Binaan (Community Engagement Program/PDB). The program aims to produce cookies from teak leaves to increase the economic activity of the Kebontunggul residents. The methods used are community education, consultation, training, science and technology transfer. The focus of this specific program was before-after knowledge assessment, skill development, and community participation in teak leaf-based cookies innovation. There was an increase in the knowledge and skills of the Kebontunggul people, as indicated in the pre-test and post-test results. The training output was the procedure and formulation development of teak leaf powder and teak leaf cookies to support its production scale and increase the residents' economic activity.

Abstract

Pupose: This paper investigates the acceptance of telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic using an integrated framework of social cognitive theory, social capital, and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Method: The research employs a quantitative method through online surveys. The findings indicate that: 1) Self-efficacy is associated with the perception of ease of use of telemedicine. 2) Social capital is related to both the perceived ease of use and usefulness of telemedicine. 3) The turbulent pandemic situation strengthens the intention to use telemedicine. This study collect 155 respondents and use partial least square for testing hypothesis. Result: All of hypothesis in this research are supported. The results suggests that the implementation of telemedicine should consider social capital, social cognitive aspects, and TAM.

Abstract

This design aims to conduct a job analysis and designing a performance appraisal system for Management Consultant Office "D". The constructionism approach used in this design that presents a structured and systematic analysis by describing the steps of designing a performance appraisal system through data collection methods: interviews, direct observation and document analysis. A summary of the findings shows that the Management Consultant Office "D" has never done a job analysis for each level of position in the organization and don’t have a performance appraisal system. Therefore, a job analysis is performed for each level of position and neatly formatted in the job analysis table. The results of this design are in the form of job analysis, determination of the performance appraisal dimensions and their weighting which are made into the format of the performance appraisal form along with the procedures and the procedures for carrying out the performance appraisal.

Abstract

This study investigates innovation strategies for aquaculture in East Java using SWOT analysis and TOWS matrix. Although East Java is one of the three largest contributors in aquaculture in Indonesia, maintaining its sustainability is highly dependent on the right strategy based on environmental conditions. This research used a qualitative method with data collection techniques involving in-depth interviews with 7 informants from various backgrounds. The research findings revealed East Java's strengths in terms of community cohesiveness and adaptability to limitations, but a one-time business cycle due to limited capital and low levels of domestic consumption. Some opportunities still arise, such as East Java's high fisheries export demand and capability and the support of a government program called 'Gemarikan'. On the other hand, its vulnerability to weather, water, budget fluctuations, and poor business practices may pose a threat. As a result, the TOWS Matrix identified several innovation strategies for aquaculture in East Java, namely improving aquaculture literacy and knowledge transfer, community-based improvement, and bottom-up collaborative coordination.

Abstract

Permasalahan malnutrisi pada balita merupakan masalah kesehatan utama yang dihadapi oleh sebagian besar negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia. Daun kelor merupakan salah satu bahan alam yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi dan bermanfaat untuk pemenuhan gizi. Daun kelor selama ini banyak digunakan pada berbagai negara berkembang sebagai alternatif makanan untuk mengatasi malnutrisi. Salah satu desa di Jawa Timur yang memiliki potensi tanaman kelor adalah di Desa Bogo, Bojonegoro. Daun kelor telah dimanfaatkan masyarakat Desa Bogo dalam bentuk olahan makanan sederhana seperti sayur bening, keripik, dan pepes. Produk makanan berbasis daun kelor yang selama ini dikembangkan belum ada yang dapat diterima dan digemari oleh anak-anak, padahal pemenuhan gizi balita merupakan salah satu fokus yang juga diprioritaskan oleh pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur. Berdasarkan pada fakta tersebut, diperlukan suatu kegiatan pengembangan produk makanan berbasis daun kelor untuk pemenuhan gizi balita. Produk makanan yang dikembangkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah nugget dan es krim daun kelor. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Kelompok Wanita Tani dan kader PKK di Desa Bogo untuk menciptakan produk makanan berbasis daun kelor yang digemari oleh balita. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan evaluasi pemahaman di awal kegiatan, penyampaian materi dengan media vidoe,  praktik pembuatan produk, dan evaluasi akhir kegiatan.Kata Kunci: produk makanan; daun kelor; gizi; balita; Desa Bogo. Training on Making Moringa Leaf-Based Food Products for Toddler Nutrition Fulfillment in Bogo Village, BojonegoroABSTRACTMalnutrition in toddlers is a major health problem suffered by most developing countries, including Indonesia. Kelor leaves are one of the natural ingredients which contain nutrients and beneficial for nutritional requirements. One of the villages in East Java that has the potential of kelor plants is Bogo, Bojonegoro. Kelor leaves have been utilized in Bogo as simple foods product including clear soups, chips, and pepes. Kelor leaf-based food products which have been developed, are not being accepted and favored by children. Whereas, the nutritional fulfillment of toddlers is one of the focus that is prioritized by the government of East Java province. Based on this fact, kelor leaf-based food development activity is required for the fulfillment of toddler nutrition. Food products developed in this activity are nuggets and ice cream based of  kelor leaf. This activity aims to empower Kelompok Wanita Tani and PKK in Bogo village to create a kelor leaf-based food products which are favored by toddlers. This activity is conducted by an evaluation of understanding at the beginning of activities, delivery of material using video, product creation practices, and final evaluation. The final result of this program obtained two new variants of product, including nugget and ice cream.
