Abstract

Abstract

The method employed an integrated approach consisting of several stages, including socialization, interactive training, hands-on practice, and pre- and post-activity evaluation. Interview results showed an increase in participants’ average ability from 26.4% to 76.0%, or a 49.6% improvement after the training. The program had a positive impact on participants’ digital literacy and marketing strategies. As a follow-up, the Sumber Padi Digital MSME Community was established, and the development of the “Sumber Padi Digital Corner” is planned as a center for digital-based business promotion and consultation. Abstract

The study purpose was to examine the effect of competence, training, and work environment on employee performance at PT. Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk. This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding factors that influence employee performance in the plantation sector. Materials and methods. This research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The population consisted of all employees at PT. Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk, with a total sample of 42 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using structured questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. Hypothesis testing was conducted through t-test and F-test, supported by classical assumption tests and coefficient of determination analysis. Results. The findings indicate that competence, training, and work environment each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, these variables significantly influence employee performance. The coefficient of determination shows that competence, training, and work environment collectively explain a substantial proportion of the variance in employee performance. Conclusions. The study concludes that improving employee competence, implementing effective training programs, and creating a supportive work environment are essential factors in enhancing employee performance at PT. Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk

Abstract

The study purpose was to analyze the influence of central government spending, road infrastructure development, and the Human Development Index (HDI) on economic growth in Indonesia over the period 1995–2024. Materials and methods. This study employs annual secondary data sourced from the official publications of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Ministry of Finance. The analytical method applied is multiple linear regression to determine the extent of the influence exerted by each independent variable on the dependent variable, namely economic growth. Results. The study found an R-squared (R2) of 0.988291, showing that 98.83% of GDP variation is explained by the model. The F-statistic (0.000) confirms a significant simultaneous effect. Partially, central government spending (X1) has a highly significant positive impact (p=0.000), while road infrastructure (X2) and HDI (X3) do not show significant effects (p > 0.05). Conclusions. The study concludes that central government spending is the primary driver of Indonesia's GDP, whereas road infrastructure and HDI require better optimization to yield immediate economic impacts. These findings suggest a potential "lag effect" in infrastructure and social investments. Consequently, the government should prioritize spending efficiency and the long-term quality of human capital to ensure a more balanced and sustainable contribution to national economic growth

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of digital transformation on inclusive economic growth in Indonesia, in light of significant social and economic inequality. While previous studies, particularly in South Africa, have highlighted opportunities for market access, this study focuses on identifying the factors that influence the contribution of digital transformation within the Indonesian context, using Prakash’s theory. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency across ten provinces in Sumatra. The analysis applied the Panel Vector Autoregressive (PVAR) method to examine the relationships among variables, including the Human Development Index (HDI), consumption, and social inequality. The findings indicate that, in the long term, both consumption and HDI have a negative impact on inclusive economic growth, with t-statistics of -2.452 and -5.093, respectively. Inequality, however, did not show a significant influence, with a t-statistic of 1.148. Similar trends were observed in the short term. The study concludes that a nuanced understanding of the equitable implementation of digital technology is essential for achieving inclusive economic growth. Notably, the negative influence of HDI on economic inclusion suggests that improvements in quality of life do not always correlate directly with economic growth, offering new insights into the discourse on digital transformation and economic inclusion in Indonesia.
