Abstract

Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) is a wireless network technology that supports vehicle communication. The problems and research focus on VANET are generally related to the selection of effective routing protocols. Topology-based protocols in the Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) still have limitations because they are vulnerable to fast node movement and dynamic topology changes but are still used on VANET. Position-based protocol removes these limitations, so it is the most appropriate protocol used in the VANET environment. In this study the routing protocol used is Anchor-Based Street and Traffic Aware Routing (A-STAR). The A-STAR protocol is included in the position-based protocol category and has a mechanism of action based on intersections on the road. This study uses Simulation of Urban Mobility (SUMO) and Network Simulator 3 (NS-3) to simulate the A-STAR protocol based on a real map. The test scenario that will be used to test the protocol is the number of nodes, node speed, and the number of node intersections. The results of the test are analysis metrics consisting of packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, routing overhead, convergence time, and euclidean distance. The test results of the three scenarios show the average value of packet delivery ratio of 85.1%, end-to-end delay of 93.28ms, routing overhead of 873.88 packets, convergence time of 1.46s, and euclidean distances of 104 , 64m.

Abstract

Each hospital or clinic practices independent management of data regarding medical health information is a major case that must be met if included in a large amount of data. The goal is to facilitate data processing and quality of service to clients. However, in Pedis Care Malang there are several constraints such as a system that is still manual in processing client data. Waste of time in recapitulating the client's medical data which is done twice a week for the same data and the difficulty of sharing data between each member, when one member requires client care data before in a rush. From the constraints that have been obtained, we need an information system that can manage client data in Malang's Independent Pedis Care Practices. The information system has several data processing features that include adding data, editing data, deleting data, printing, and displaying the history of the data entered and more efficient data storage. In addition these features make it easy to access data on each division member. For a more complete depiction of the features can be seen in the design of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) which consists of 12 main modules. The study was conducted using the Rapid Application Development Method (RAD) as a system development method. The functionality testing is done using the unit testing strategy, integration testing, validation testing with 100% valid results. While non-functional testing uses compatibility testing, the results show that the system works well in all versions of the browser.

Abstract

Ad-Hoc Vehicle (VANET) is a network for wireless communication on vehicles that allows one node to another node to communicate with or without infrastructure. In VANET there are two modes of communication Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I). This paper is focused on discussing vehicle communication with infrastructure (V2I). In designing of VANET several problems arise, one of which is the selection of a routing protocol that matches the criteria and characteristics of the VANET network. In this paper, the protocol used is the Distance Routing Effect Algorithm for Mobility (DREAM), the protocol which will be simulated and analyzed based on a test-parameters that includes vehicles and variations of the RSU to establish a DREAM protocol suitable for use in VANET environments, DREAM protocol was chosen because the data transmission mechanism is related to the Road Side Unit (RSU). The simulation is performed using NS-2 for protocol simulation and SUMO is used for map simulation. The results of the DREAM protocol simulation will be analyzed based on test parameters namely packet delivery ratio (PDR), end-to-end delays, routing overhead and convergence The test results show the average value of PDR is 97,515%, the average value of end-to-end delay is 46,273 ms, the average value of routing overhead is 31,872 and the average value of convergence has is 548,207 ms..

Abstract

Storing medical records on paper cause problems that can make medical records data scattered across various healthcare facility. The problems concerning healthcare facility to use electronic medical records so that they can share the data and increase its availability. Data sharing mechanism raises awareness that data privacy and integrity must be guaranteed. A technology that can be utilized for this problems that arise is blockchain. In this research proposed a medical record system using Hyperledger framework based on permissioned blockchain. The proposed system solves this problem by recording transactions that occur on medical records thus providing data integrity. Recorded transactions will be distributed inside blockchain envinronment so that every hospital has a copy of recorded medical data. Multi user rest server provided by Hyperledger framework is used to prevent unauthorized user accessing stored medical data inside the blockchain. Data availability can be maintained because blockchain keeps a copy of data on each peer. Data privacy can be maintained by using multi user rest server and access control provided by Hyperledger framework. Data integrity can be maintaned because blockchain used consensus mechanism. Performance results on this research shows that increased latency metrics directly proportional to the number of users accessing data inside the blockchain.

Abstract

Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a network consisting of a collection of mobile nodes that function as routers for data transmission. The node communicates without relying on a fixed network infrastructure. One of the routing protocols on the network is DREAM which has characteristics in finding paths using the routing table. Mobile nodes are free to join and leave the networks at any times, thus leaving MANET vulnerable to attack. One of them is a wormhole attack that creates a link between two or more of nodes that affects routing performance. The study will be conducted using NS-2.35 to see the performance of the DREAM protocol in the presence of a wormhole attack based on the scenario of the number of nodes and variation of the wormhole node with a random waypoint mobility and random direction model. Parameters for testing include packet delivery ratio (PDR), end-to-end delay, routing overhead, and convergence time. The results show that increasing the number of node variations can affect evaluation metrics, while increasing the number of wormhole nodes is more stable. Testing with 3 pairs of wormhole nodes get the lowest packet delivery ratio of 11.975 % on 10 nodes with random direction mobility. The highest end-to-end delay result is 446,544 ms at 50 nodes with random direction mobility. The highest routing overhead result is 33.216% at 50 nodes with random waypoint mobility, and the highest convergence time result is 183,459 s at 50 nodes with random waypoint mobility.

Abstract

Nodes that have mobile properties form a network called MANET. This study uses protocol routing that is reactive, namely Location Aided Routing (LAR) where the protocol routing uses the position information of each node that comes from the Global Positioning System (GPS). From the use of these techniques and position information, the area to search for routes is reduced and restricted. Along with this, the energy consumed by each node needs to be reviewed. The performance of the Location Aided Routing (LAR) routing protocol can be affected by node movement. This movement node can pose a risk of disconnection between nodes and routing unsuccessful. The performance of the protocol is routing directly proportional to energy consumption. This study uses the number of different nodes and node movements to conduct test scenarios. In the 30 node scenario, the largest total energy consumption occurs in the movement model the Random Waypoint node and has a difference with the total energy consumption of the Random Direction node movement model of 351.491386 Joules. Conversely, in the scenario 45 and 60 nodes the largest total dominant energy consumption is when employing the Random Direction node movement model. In the Random Waypoint node movement model, the average energy consumption scenario decreases and increases regarding node addition. Whereas in Random Direction, the average energy consumption continues to increase. The amount of energy consumption is affected by the number of nodes and the different node movement models.

Abstract

The energy level owned by a node will affect the services performed by that node. When the node's energy is at a high level, the node will provide communication services for sending data and routing, but when the node's energy is at a low level the services performed by that node will be limited. The limit given to the node is when the remaining node energy is below 20% of the initial energy, the node will discard all packets that will be forwarded and when the node's energy sis has entered below 10%, the node will discard all packets that will be forwarded and do not do routing. The application of these energy restrictions results in changes in the Quality of Service. The testing of the application of energy restriction is carried out using a number of diverse nodes, namely 30, 40, and 50. The results are taken with two tests, the first test without applying energy restriction and the second test uses energy restriction. The results of the comparison of the average throughput test value for the number of nodes 30 and 50 have increased, but for testing with 40 nodes has decreased in value. The results of the comparison of packet delivery ratio testing values on all tests the number of nodes has decreased. And the results of testing the remaining energy changes the value of the remaining energy owned by each node.

Abstract

MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Network) is a network where each of its nodes can adapt to Mobile conditions. The protocols contained in MANET are divided into three types: proactive, reactive and hybrid. The Destination Sequence Distance Vector (DSDV) is one of the proactive protocol types. In MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Network) There are frequent routing problems such as looping. To handle this, use the DSDV protocol where this protocol uses a sequence number to avoid the occurrence of looping on the MANET network. Traffic models used are traffic CBR and Exponential. The simulation program is done using Network Simulator 3.21 (NS-3.21) in the Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) Mobile network. The test parameters are used in the form of Packet delivery ratio (PDR),throughput, and average end-to-end delay. Based on the simulation that has been done shows that the DSDV protocol has a good performance by using exponential traffic judging by the PDR test value and its end-to-end delay. Judging from the value of traffic throughput CBR has a higher value compared to Exponential traffic. Traffic CBR with an average value of PDR 55.31%,throughput 319.9 and an average end-to-end delay of 1.377 seconds. Compared to the results exponential traffic is with the average value PDR 63.74%, throughput 312.8 and average end-to-end delay 1.289 s.
