Abstract

Muhammadiyah sebagai organisasi masyarakat islam terbesar di indonesia kondisi bangsa yang mengalami keterbelakangan menjadi lahirnya organisasi ini untuk membebaskan masyarakat dari berbagai praktik agama islam yang menyimpang dari ajaran islam. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif studi literature dari sumber buku, Jurnal, prosiding yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian KH. Ahmad pergi haji kedua kalinya dan pulang ke Indonesia mulai melakukan pemurnian ajaran islam, dengan kondisi masyarakat yang terbelakang membuat ahmad dahlan mendirikan organisasi Muhmmadiyah tanggal 8 Zulhijah 1330 H./ 18 November 1912 M di Kauman Yogyakarta atas kondisi umat islam tidak sesuai ajaran nabi Muhammad saw seperi Takhayul, Bid’ah, dan Khurafat, tujuanya untuk dakwah amar maaruf nahi mungkar, surat al maun sebagai teologi muhammadiyah tidak hanya berhenti pada praktik ritual keagamaan juga terlibat dalam berbagai aktivitas sosial untuk membantu yang membutuhkan. Keseimpulan muhammadiyah dibentuk oleh KH Ahmad dahlan di kauman Yogyakarta setelah pulang haji melihat kondisi masyarakat islam melenceng dari A-Quran dan Sunnah, teologi al maun sebagai landasan dakhwahnya untuk membantu yang membutuhkan lewat amal

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the strategies of teachers in the field of Islamic religious education in instilling character values ​​in Al-Fauziah Private Madrasah Aliyah students, Talippuki sub-district. Mambi District. Mamasa. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and research instruments to collect information in order to reveal an empirical fact in an objectively scientific manner based on strong scientific logic in accordance with known scientific disciplines. The research results show that the students' character is basically good, but the influence of the external environment and also the lack of attention and support from their parents makes them experience obstacles in their enthusiasm for learning and school. So, to achieve school success, teachers in the learning process create strategies for appropriate learning methods and motivate students to stay in school until completion. In learning, teachers instill character values ​​that are instilled in students, namely the character of self-confidence, the character of discipline in learning, the character of enthusiasm for learning, the character of focus in learning, the character of being active in creativity.

Abstract

This research analyzes the concept of character education from the perspectives of the Al-Qur'an, Muhammadiyah figures, and Muhammadiyah itself to offer comprehensive ideas about character education. Employing library research, primary sources include works by Muhammadiyah figures and other literature on character education. The findings reveal: 1) The Al-Qur'an advocates various aspects of character education, such as goodness (ihsan), virtues (al-birr), fulfilling promises (al-wafa), patience, honesty, reverence for Allah SWT, justice, and forgiveness, as seen in Surah An-Nahl verse 90 and Surah Al-Isra' verses 23-24. 2) Muhammadiyah figures like KH. Ahmad Dahlan emphasize cultivating Muslims with virtuous characters, broad perspectives, and societal commitment, while Syafi'i Ma'arif highlights the collaborative nature of character education involving educators, parents, teachers, and society. Muhammadiyah's commitment is evident through Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah (AIK) education across its institutions, aiming to develop an Indonesian society with superior traits such as being religious, moderate, intelligent, knowledgeable, independent, and cooperative.

Abstract

This research explores the resilience of interreligious harmony in Kedang, Lembata Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, by focusing on the intersection of local culture, religion, and governance. The study identifies three central pillars in the philosophy of life for the Kedang people: the Customary, Religious, and Governmental pillars, which together foster a strong social fabric. Key aspects of Kedang culture, including traditional architecture, music, rituals, and customs, are examined for their role in sustaining peaceful coexistence among different religious groups. A phenomenological approach is used to understand these practices authentically, with data collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research employs purposive sampling to select informants, including community, religious, youth, and traditional leaders, as well as government officials. Through SWOT analysis, the study assesses the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to interfaith relations in Kedang, proposing strategic measures for reinforcing religious harmony. The findings contribute to a broader understanding of cultural and religious dialogue, offering a model for promoting peace and unity in diverse communities, both within Indonesia and globally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini, mengkaji pemikiran pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an, pendapat tokoh-tokoh Muhammadiyah dan perspektif Muhammadiyah tentang pendidikan karakter. Dengan tujuan untuk mengonstruksi pemikirannya, baik yang bersifat tawaran maupun gagasan tentang pedidikan karakter. Penelitian ini  menggunakan jenis penelitian  kepustakaan (library research), dengan mengambil sumber-sumber pustaka yang ditulis oleh tokoh-tokoh Muhammadiyah, sebagai sumber utama (Primary source) dan buku-buku lain yang membahas tentang pendidikan karakter. Peneliti kemudian mengkaji beberapa temuan penelitian mengenai pemikiran pendidikan karaker perspektif Muhammadiyah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep pemikiran pendidikan karakter perspektif al-qur’an, pendapat tokoh-tokoh Muhamamdiyah dan perspektif Muhammadiyah tentang pendidikan karakter 1) Di dalam al-Qur’an ditemukan pendidikan  karakter, seperti perintah untuk berbuat baik (ihsan), dan kebajikan (al-birr), menepati janji (al-wafa), sabar, jujur, takut kepada Allah Swt, bersedekah di jalan Allah, berbuat adil, pemaaf terdapat dalam banyak ayat di dalam al-Qur’an, diantaranya seperti al-Qur’an surah An-Nahl ayat 90, dan surah al-Isra’ ayat 23-24. Kesemuanya itu merupakan prinsip-prinsip dan nilai karakter mulia yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap pribadi muslim. 2) Konsep pendidikan karakter menurut tokoh Muhammadiyah dibedakan menjadi beberapa konsep. Konsep pendidikan karakter KH. Ahmad Dahlan adalah membentuk manusia muslim yang berbudi pekerti luhur, luas pandangan dan paham masalah ilmu keduniaan. Menurut Syafi’i Ma’arif, pendidikan karakter adalah upaya yang dilakukan oleh pendidik, orang tua, guru dan masyarakat untuk menanamkan pribadi-pribadi yang memiliki perilaku dan cara berpikir yang sesuai dengan norma agama dan social. Komitmen Muhammadiyah dalam pendidikan karakter ini diimplementasikan dalam bentuk pendidikan Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) di seluruh lembaga pendidikannya. Melalui pendidikan AIK di lembaga- lembaga pendidikannya, Muhammadiyah berusaha untuk mewujudkan masyarakat Indonesia yang berkarakter unggul seperti; religius, moderat, cerdas, berilmu, mandiri, dan kerjasama.
