Hadith of the Prophet PBUH as a Remedy for Hedonism Muktashim Billah; Zulfahmi Alwi; Abdul Rahman Sakka

Abstract

Because the world is mortal, Islam is a complete religion that is the solution to all problems. Islam regulates the way of human life based on needs and does not splurge, making enjoyment the goal of life. The Prophet warns his people not to be extravagant, greedy, or oblivious to the world. However, the emergence of a lifestyle trend makes enjoyment. Enjoyment of life and endless satisfaction is a disease. Hedonistic behavior causes perpetrators to be excessively consumptive without realizing that if their income sources are limited, the impact of hedonistic actors will be wasteful, irresponsible, and in debt to the worst corruption. This paper addressed the Prophet's hadith as a solution to hedonism. Sahih (valid) hadiths are found by using the takhrj hadith method (validation) and examining its content using the taḥlīli (analytic) method by revealing the ontology, epistemology, and axiology sides. From the way of seeking sustenance and always seeking the lawful in order to benefit human life and avoid hedonistic behavior.

Abstract

Research on the Urgency of Islamic Moderation in the Aspect of Da'wah and Communication Between SARA, motivated by the escalation of inter-religious conflicts in Indonesia after the 1998 reform, such as in Ambon, Poso, Situbondo and Sambas. This study aims to determine the Theological Basis of Moderation, the Urgency of Ethnicity, Religion and Race (SARA) Da'wah and the Urgency of Cross-SARA Communication. Knowledge of these three aspects is very important as an effort to prevent conflict, because the conflict is like a malignant cancer that at any time inflames and damages one's own resilience joints. Kind This research is included in the category of library research The results of the research obtained include, 1) The Theological Basis of Islamic Moderation is explained in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 143 (wa kadzalika ja'alanakum ummatan wasathan) which is used as a theological basis or starting point for religious moderation. There are three main keys in the application of wasathiyyah, namely correct knowledge, controlled emotions and vigilance. 2) The urgency of Ethnicity, Religion and Race (SARA) Da'wah is to care for a tolerant religious character, to strive for universal peace in the midst of differences in Ethnicity/Nation, Religion and Race/Group. Da’wah Suku, Agama dan Ras (SARA) is a da'wah that reconciles, enlightens and edifies. 3) Poor communication will cause miscommunication even the worst can be a trigger for conflict, while conflict is like a malignant cancer that at any time can damage the body's immune system and nervous tissue, so you must always maintain and maintain the body's immunity to stay healthy. Herein lies the importance or urgency of cross-SARA communication to prevent miscommunication and discommunication that has the potential to trigger conflict in Indonesia.

Abstract

Mosques have a great deal of potential for supporting Muslim families. However, there are still a lot of mosques that do not fully utilize this excellent opportunity. In order to shed light on this issue, a literature review titled " Realizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by Reviving Mosque Functions in Family Guidance" was conducted. The problem stated in this paper is "How to revive the mosque's role in family formation." This study seeks to explain the idea of creating a Muslim family centered around a mosque. The methodology utilized is qualitative, and the literature or books that are relevant to the topic of the conversation are used as data sources. This study demonstrates that by maximizing mosques' contributions to the development of Muslim households, helping the government achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially those that relate to a healthy, prosperous living and high-quality education. Re-actualizing mosque management and congregational coaching techniques is important to maximize the mosques' contribution to the upbringing of Muslim families. The management side comes first; every mosque needs a mission and vision that are both distinct and measurable. Particularly when it comes to achieving one of the most crucial tasks, which is the development of Muslim families. Mosques should offer more welcoming facilities for the congregation. so that parents can watch events at the mosque in safety and comfort. Next: elements of the coaching approach For the purpose of making the guidance materials more efficient, organized, and focused on the desired vision, a guidance on guidance materials is required. These resources cover several facets of faith, worship, and muamalah in addition to tazkiyatun nafs and other resources. The following techniques are utilized to put the notion into practice: lectures, question-and-answer sessions, group discussions, demonstrations, assignments, and field trips. -- Masjid memiliki potensi sangat besar dalam pembinaan keluarga muslim berbasis masjid. Namun masih banyak masjid yang tidak memanfaatkan potensi besar tersebut. Maka untuk mengungkap persoalan tersebut dilakukan penelitian pustaka dengan judul “Revitalisasi Fungsi Masjid dalam Pembinaan Keluarga Mewujudkan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB)”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana revitalisasi fungsi masjid dalam pembinaan keluarga”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep pembinaan keluarga muslim berbasis masjid. Metode yang dipakai adalah kualitiatif dengan sumber data yang digunakan berupa buku-buku atau literatur yang berkaitan dengan pembahasan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; optimalisasi peran masjid dalam pembinaan keluarga muslim berbasis masjid, mendukung pemerintah dalam mewujudkan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB)/Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya pada aspek kehidupan sehat dan sejahtera, dan pendidikan berkualitas. Guna optimalisasi peran masjid dalam pembinaan keluarga muslim perlu dilakukan reaktualisasi pada aspek manajemen masjid dan metode pembinaan jamaah: Pertama: aspek manajemen, yakni setiap masjid seyogyanya mempunyai visi dan misi yang jelas dan terukur. Terutama dalam pembinaan keluarga muslim sebagai salah satu misi penting yang akan dicapai. Masjid hendaknya memiliki fasilitas yang lebih friendly dengan para jamaahnya. Sehingga orang tua merasa aman dan nyaman mengikuti kegiatan di masjid. Kedua: aspek metode pembinaan, diperlukan adanya Panduan Materi Pembinaan sehingga lebih efektif, sistematis dan terarah sesuai visi yang dituju. Materi-materi dimaksud meliputi aspek akidah, ibadah dan muamalah serta tazkiyatun nafs dan materi lainnya. Adapun metode yang dipakai dalam implementasi konsep dimaksud antara lain; metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab, metode diskusi, metode demosntrasi, metode penugasan dan metode karya wisata.

Abstract

Islam as a solutive religion that is a blessing for all humans, one form of mercy is by giving Islamic law to humans. The application of Islamic law was carried out starting at the time of the Prophet. become a leader for Muslims, to this day even though the intensity of its application is different. There are two major countries that include Islamic law in their laws. Even though it is included in the law, there are different legal approaches that give birth to Islamic law that is unique in each region, therefore it is necessary to study modernization and reformism in the development of Islamic law and social institutions, its challenges and cases. The study was carried out in the literature and concluded that in the realm of ijtihad it is permissible to carry out legal reforms as long as it is based on the basis of the text, even though there are many challenges because the struggle is related to politics.

Abstract

This study is to determine the Impact of Biological Dissatisfaction of Married Couples on Divorce in the Bantaeng Regency Religious Court in 2021-2022, this purpose is described in sub-problems: 1. How is the picture of divorce caused by biological dissatisfaction factors of married couples that occur in the Bantaeng Regency Religious Court. 2. How the impact of biological dissatisfaction on married couples led to divorce at the Bantaeng Regency Religious Court. This research is a field research that uses a qualitative approach by conducting an interview and documentation process. The results of this study show that based on data from the Bantaeng Regency Religious Court, divorce cases in Bantaeng Regency in 2021-2022 have increased. In 2021 there were 337 divorce cases and in 2022 there were 379 divorce cases. Divorce occurs due to several factors including economic factors, family, biological dissatisfaction or other factors. 15%-25% of the total cases each year divorce due to biological dissatisfaction and partly due to other factors. And the impact of biological dissatisfaction with the couple is first, lack of respect for the partner, second, not being provided for by the husband and domestic violence.

Abstract

This research explores the resilience of interreligious harmony in Kedang, Lembata Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, by focusing on the intersection of local culture, religion, and governance. The study identifies three central pillars in the philosophy of life for the Kedang people: the Customary, Religious, and Governmental pillars, which together foster a strong social fabric. Key aspects of Kedang culture, including traditional architecture, music, rituals, and customs, are examined for their role in sustaining peaceful coexistence among different religious groups. A phenomenological approach is used to understand these practices authentically, with data collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research employs purposive sampling to select informants, including community, religious, youth, and traditional leaders, as well as government officials. Through SWOT analysis, the study assesses the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to interfaith relations in Kedang, proposing strategic measures for reinforcing religious harmony. The findings contribute to a broader understanding of cultural and religious dialogue, offering a model for promoting peace and unity in diverse communities, both within Indonesia and globally.

Abstract

This study explores the empowerment of persons with disabilities through guidance from Qur'anic verse Surah al-Nūr/24:61, offering ethical and spiritual frameworks to reduce discrimination and enhance well-being. The research emphasizes applying Qur'anic principles, including compassionate care, spiritual psychology, and ability-based empowerment, to the lives of persons with disabilities. Using an analytical exegesis method that incorporates historical, linguistic, and legal contexts, as well as literature reviews, the findings underscore the significance of eliminating stigma through empathy, enhancing mental well-being through spiritual connections, and empowering individuals according to their abilities. The verse directs able-bodied people to engage in inclusive social interactions, fostering acceptance and support for persons with disabilities. The study concludes that integrating Qur'anic values into social policies provides a comprehensive approach to creating inclusive and just societies, while offering insights for developing religiously informed, disability-inclusive policies that address the needs and dignity of all individuals.

Abstract

Violence against women remains a critical global issue, fueled by patriarchal norms and socioeconomic pressures. This study examines an Islamic-based educational outreach at Muhammadiyah Islamic College Singapore, aimed at raising awareness and offering strategies to prevent violence and bullying against women. Using a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach, the program involved workshops, focus groups, and modules grounded in Islamic principles of justice and compassion. Findings show increased awareness among participants about respecting women's rights and maintaining a violence-free environment. The integration of Islamic values, such as emotional regulation and peaceful conflict resolution, positively influenced attitudes and behaviors. Ultimately, the program succeeded in fostering a supportive, safe campus environment, demonstrating the potential of faith-based approaches in addressing social issues and promoting inclusive communities.
