Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dan model  Cooperative Script terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain yang digunakan adalah “prstest-posttest two treatment desaign”. Populasi sekaligus sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Karangreja 04 Kabupaten Bekasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel  yaitu dengan teknik sampling jenuh dimana semua populasi dijadikan sampel. Intrumen yang digunakan berupa prates dan pascates dan lembar observasi. Sistem pengolahan data ini menggunakan software SPSS16.0 dan Microsoft Excel 2007. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian adalah: (1) Penerapan Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dalam pembelajaran membaca dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa, (2) Model Cooperative Script dalam pembelajaran membaca dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa, (3) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran membaca pemahaman dengan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran membaca pemahaman dngan model Cooperative Script. (4)  Peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa dengan model  Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan model Cooperative Script.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of puzzle learning media in PAI subjects with the material of Al-Khulafaur Ar-Rashidin Class VII Darussyafa'ah Middle School, Setail-Genteng for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This type of descriptive qualitative research. Data collection methods are passive participation observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The subject of the study was PAI teachers, students of class VII. The validity of the triangulated data. Data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification. The results of the study, PAI educators use three components in learning, planning, implementation, and assessment (evaluation). Lesson planning prepares the syllabus, lesson plans, and subject matter. The implementation of learning is in accordance with the steps of the puzzle learning media. And for evaluation/assessment, write tests, remedials, and evaluations are carried out in the middle of the semester and at the end of the semester. Inhibiting factors, lack of motivation of students in studying religious education, varied learning styles, students who lack confidence, are not maximally applied in large groups, only exist in schools, and require special care in storing them. Supporting factors, the sense of interest in learning and the curiosity of students to use puzzle media, the size is not too large, students can see, observe and conduct experiments and add insight, teachers are creative, teacher abilities, appropriate learning models, and student responses good.

Abstract

This paper conducts a profound exploration of eschatology in Islam, with a particular emphasis on the importance of belief in the Day of Judgment from the viewpoints of Fazlur Rahman and Tafsir Al-Munir. The belief system of Muslims is rooted in the Quran and Hadith, with the Five Pillars of Islam and the Pillars of Faith serving as the cornerstone. The fifth pillar of faith enjoins belief in the Day of Judgment, yet regrettably, there exists a lack of awareness among many in this regard. Consequently, this paper presents a comprehensive elucidation of eschatology in Islam, drawing from Quranic verses and contemporary interpretations, notably Tafsir Al-Munir. Adopting an analytical approach, this paper focuses on Surah Al-Infithar, providing an innovative analytical perspective and dispelling potential ambiguities and open-ended concepts. This study employs an interdisciplinary methodology, integrating literature review and contemporary exegesis to depict the significance of belief in the Day of Judgment as a foundational tenet in Islamic faith.

Abstract

Penurunan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia sepanjang tahun 2020 menyebabkan beberapa perusahaan ritel di Indonesia mengalami penutupan dan beberapa toko mereka terpaksa tutup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi efek parsial dan simultan yang terjadi antara variabel independen, seperti Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Asset (ROA), dan Return On Equity (ROE), terhadap variabel dependen, yaitu Pertumbuhan Laba. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data dari laporan keuangan perusahaan di sektor ritel makanan dan bahan baku yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, yang menghasilkan 8 perusahaan dari total 13 perusahaan di sektor tersebut yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Periode observasi adalah 5 tahun, dari tahun 2017 hingga 2021, dengan total 40 observasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi data panel, dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya NPM dan ROA yang memiliki efek positif terhadap pertumbuhan laba, sedangkan GPM dan ROE tidak signifikan dalam mempengaruhi pertumbuhan laba. Selain itu, efek simultan dari GPM, NPM, ROA, dan ROE terhadap pertumbuhan laba juga signifikan secara statistik

Abstract

   The existence of basic principles in communicating in pragmatics can be referred to as the principle of cooperation.  The principle of cooperation according to Grice, namely the maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance, and maxim of implementation.  This study examines the maxim of quantity and maxim of relevance more.  The purpose of this study is to explain the maxim of quantity and the maxim of relevance that exist on Najwa Shihab's YouTube about 20 Years of Timor Leste, Stories After Independence.  This research method uses descriptive qualitative and note-taking techniques to collect data.  The results of the study state that there are 11 maxims of quantity and maxims of relevance in the video.  Of the 11 maxims, there are 6 maxims of quantity and 5 maxims of relevance.  The maxim of quantity can be seen that what the speaker answers is in accordance with the purpose and is not exaggerated, while the maxim of relevance answers with relevance and what is being questioned is in accordance with 5w+1h.

Abstract

This study explores the role of exemplary Islamic religious education teachers and morals in shaping students’ social behavior at SMA Negeri 1 Waru. Using a qualitative field approach with descriptive-qualitative-phenomenological methods, the findings highlight that teachers significantly influence students' attitudes and behavior by serving as role models. Teachers are not only educators of religious material but also exemplify integrity, noble morals, and responsibility, inspiring students to develop character traits such as integrity, responsibility, and social care. This is evident in vertical interactions with God, such as congregational prayers and dhikr, which enhance students’ spiritual awareness, and in social interactions, characterized by politeness, collaboration, and mutual support, creating a positive learning environment. Supporting factors include teacher integrity, parental involvement, peer influence, and school facilities and regulations that strengthen social behavior development. However, challenges arise from students’ diverse backgrounds and external global influences, requiring concerted efforts to promote exemplification among stakeholders. Ultimately, the role of teachers as role models not only shapes individual student behavior but also fosters a positive school environment and strengthens the school community at SMA Negeri 1 Waru.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become integral to various sectors; however, public understanding of this technology remains limited. This study explores the roles of government, educational organizations, and the community in enhancing AI's understanding and ethical implementation. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through a survey of 300 respondents, in-depth interviews with 15 officials and representatives from educational organizations, and focus group discussions with 30 participants. Results indicate that only 30% of respondents feel adequately informed about AI applications, while government policies lack clear regulations. Community involvement in education-based programs has effectively reduced the negative stigma associated with AI. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to create a supportive environment for AI implementation. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective policies and educational programs related to AI in the future.

Abstract

English-speaking ability is an essential skill for EFL students to communicate effectively; however, many students face challenges such as limited vocabulary, lack of motivation, and low self-confidence. Therefore, the study "EFL Students’ Perception in Using Duolingo for Developing Speaking Ability" aims to analyze students' perceptions of using Duolingo to improve their speaking skills, focusing on how the application's features assist in speaking development and its effectiveness in English language learning at senior high schools in the Greater Jakarta area. This research using quantitative method, with data collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 25% of 187 randomly selected students. The results indicate that students have a positive perception of Duolingo due to features such as a reward system, learning reminders, and game-based multimedia content, which enhance motivation, confidence, learning flexibility, and active participation in speaking. However, challenges such as limited vocabulary and fear of making mistakes still persist, suggesting that while Duolingo is an effective learning tool, its use should be supplemented with conventional teaching methods for optimal improvement in English-speaking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran KIT Smart-System with Solar Panel and Sound Sensor berbasis pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) guna meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pengenalan instrumen digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Validasi media dilakukan dengan 10 expert judgement, dengan hasil kelayakan rata-rata 92% pada aspek alat dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), serta validasi instrumen pembelajaran memperoleh nilai CVI sebesar 1,00. Kepraktisan diuji menggunakan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) dan memperoleh skor tertinggi pada skala Attractiveness (1,44) dan Stimulation (1,42), yang menunjukkan respon sangat positif. Efektivitas media dianalisis melalui n-Gain dengan rata-rata skor pre-test 40,5 dan post-test 78,2, menghasilkan nilai n-Gain sebesar 0,62 (62%), yang tergolong cukup efektif. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa KIT Smart-System sangat layak, praktis, dan cukup efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika berbasis pendekatan STEM secara optimal dan berlanjutan.

Abstract

Limbah kertas menjadi pilihan dalam edukasi pembuatan kerajinan topeng yang dimaksudkan agar dapat mengurangi limbah kertas dan dapat meminimalisir budget yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat topeng Jabung. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan kerajinan topeng Jabung dan cara pembuatan topeng Jabung menggunakan limbah kertas kepada anak-anak di Dusun Mindi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan, pendampingan, edukasi, sosialisasi, dan monitoring. Dari kegiatan pengabdian edukasi tersebut mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan kepada anak-anak di Dusun Mindi tentang kerajinan topeng Jabung dan mendapat pengalaman baru cara pembuatan topeng Jabung dengan menggunakan limbah kertas.
