Abstract

Abstract. This study describes the practice of social work in an effort to further improve the quality and quantity as a helping profession for others, by applying the principles of social work in accordance with the code of ethics contained in it. This research is a type of qualitative-descriptive research, data collection techniques with observation, interviews, documentation. This research is oriented to the description of the application of social work principles and the dynamics of efforts to tackle homeless people and beggars in Kab. Jember and how to work with team work. The performance of this research explains the existence of several social work principles applied by Liposos Jember: individualization, meaningful relationships, acceptance, communication and expression of feelings, controlled emotional involvement, non-judgmental attitude, self-determination, self-awareness, social learning, confidentiality. The dynamics are: the skills/skills of social workers themselves, determining the fate of the clients themselves, improper planning in the static innovation and innovation process, financial problems/budget funds, and there are several strategies carried out by social workers in dealing with dynamics in the application of social work principles as is the case when burn out, namely: Relax or accept reality, dedicated me time, self-relaxation, exercise and adequate rest. The results of this study also show that Liposos social workers work together in providing services to clients. Abstrak. Studi ini mendeskripsikan praktik pekerjaan sosial dalam upaya lebih meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas sebagai profesi penolong bagi sesama, dengan menerapkan prinsip pekerjaan sosial yang sesuai dengan kode etik yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan observation, interview, documentation. Penelitian ini berorientasi tentang deskripsi penerapan prinsip pekerjaan sosial dan dinamikanya upaya menanggulangi gelandangan dan pengemis di Kab. Jember serta bagaimana bekerja dengan team work. Performa penelitian ini menjelaskan adanya beberapa prinsip pekerjaan sosial diterapkan oleh Liposos Jember: individualisasi, hubungan yang bermakna, penerimaan, komunikasi dan ekspresi perasaan, keterlibatan emosional terkontrol, sikap tidak menghakimi, penentuan nasib sendiri, kesadaran diri, pembelajaran sosial, kerahasiaan. Adapun dinamikanya yaitu: keterampilan/skill Peksos itu sendiri, menentukan nasib klien itu sendiri, perencanaan yang kurang tepat dalam proses inovasi dan inovasi yang statis, masalah keuangan/anggaran dana, serta terdapat beberapa strategi yang dilakukan oleh para peksos dalam menghadapi dinamika dalam penerapan prinsip pekerjaan sosial seperti halnya ketika burn out, yaitu: legawa atau menerima kenyataan, dedicated me time, self-relaksasi, latihan dan istirahat yang cukup. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa Peksos Liposos saling bekerja sama dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada klien. Kata kunci: .

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become integral to various sectors; however, public understanding of this technology remains limited. This study explores the roles of government, educational organizations, and the community in enhancing AI's understanding and ethical implementation. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through a survey of 300 respondents, in-depth interviews with 15 officials and representatives from educational organizations, and focus group discussions with 30 participants. Results indicate that only 30% of respondents feel adequately informed about AI applications, while government policies lack clear regulations. Community involvement in education-based programs has effectively reduced the negative stigma associated with AI. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to create a supportive environment for AI implementation. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective policies and educational programs related to AI in the future.

Abstract

The waste problem is something that is very familiar, especially in Indonesia where a large population produces large volumes of waste. It is feared that the recent increasing use of plastic in daily life will have a bad impact, because plastic is non-organic waste that is difficult to decompose. Ecobricks are a technique for processing plastic waste which is converted into environmentally friendly materials or also called environmentally friendly bricks. The problem of plastic waste also occurs in Jaharun B Village, Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency, thus encouraging KKN students to recycle plastic waste through ecobric. This activity was carried out by KKN students at Al-Wasliyah Muslim Nusantara University with the aim of helping the community, especially the younger generation, in processing waste in facing the problem of inorganic waste in their environment into a new environmentally friendly material. This activity was carried out with the community, especially teenagers from Jaharun B Village, Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency on 20 July-1 August 2024. The results that will be obtained from implementing this ecobrick are that the people of Jaharun B Village, Galang District will have more in-depth knowledge about plastic, about its dangers. , the impact on the environment whether fast or slow, and how to overcome these problems.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Menurut Survei Demografi Kesehatan Indonesia perilaku menstrual hygiene remaja putri masih buruk, yaitu 63% penyebabnya karena kurang pengetahuan dan informasi tentang personal hygiene pada saat menstruasi, sehingga remaja putri tidak memiliki pemahaman yang tepat tentang menstrual hygiene. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku personal hygiene menstruasi pada remaja putri MTs EL-Yasiniyah Pebayuran. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat analitik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross-sectional dimana pengumpulan datanya di lakukan pada satu waktu. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku personal hygiene menstruasi pada remaja putri di MTs EL-Yasiniyah Pebayuran tahun 2023. Hasil: Analisa univariat Analisa univariat dari 40 responden yang berpengetahuan baik sebanyak (52,5%) dan dari 40 responden yang berperilaku personal hygine tidak baik sebanyak (52,5%) responden. Analisa Bivariat menunjukan bahwa nilai P = 0,003 < nilai alpha 0,05 artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan tingkat pengetahuan remaja putri dengan perilaku personal hygiene menstruasi di MTs EL-Yasiniyah Pebayuran. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan remaja putri dengan perilaku personal hygiene saat menstruasi di MTs EL-Yasiniyah Pebayuran.

Abstract

Studi ini menganalisis teknologi IWB untuk pengajaran kosa kata di sekolah dasar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seorang guru yang dipilih dari sekolahnya yang menggunakan media digital IWB dalam proses belajar mengajar bahasa Inggris. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui 1) Apa saja kesulitan yang dihadapi saat menggunakan IWB Ke pemahaman siswa 2 ini? bagaimana minat siswa menggunakan IWB dalam belajar kosa kata. 3)apa manfaat penggunaan IWB dalam belajar kosakata? Metode pengumpulan dan analisis data adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dari seorang guru yang dipilih dari sekolah yang menggunakan IWB di sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan betapa mudah dan menariknya menggunakan IWB dalam membaca bahasa Inggris di kelas. IWB dapat menjadikan membaca lebih menarik dengan banyak fitur siswa. Selain itu, beberapa aspek penggunaan IWB ini: 1) memperkaya dan memperbanyak kosa kata, dan 2) lebih banyak minat membaca.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: the learning motivation of Grade IV primary school students; the learning outcomes of Grade V primary school students in science; and the correlation between learning motivation and learning outcomes of Grade V primary school students in science. This research is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive correlational design. The population used in this study were all fourth-grade students from SDN Lengahjaya 02, a total of 63 students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a large sample size of 39. Data were collected using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Of the 30 items tested, there were 28 valid questions. The data analysis technique used was product-moment correlation. The results showed that the average learning motivation of the students was 74.1 and the average learning outcome of the students was 71.5. There is a significant correlation between learning motivation and science learning outcome of the 5th grade students of SDN Lengahjaya 02 with a correlation test value of 0.323 and a low coefficient value.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, online learning is a solution in the world of education, including learning carried out by Tadris Biology students at UIN North Sumatra. This research focuses on education statistics courses conducted online. The data collection technique was carried out through a google form questionnaire and followed by a qualitative descriptive analysis. The research subjects were Biology Tadris students who were in the Even Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year who took education statistics courses with a total of 86 students as respondents. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of success in online learning of educational statistics. The results of student responses stated that online learning of educational statistics was not going well in terms of psychology and facilities, but in terms of educators (lecturers) it was good in online lectures with WhatsApp as a learning medium that was often used.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) through the application of the Snakes and Ladders learning media in class VIII-H of SMPN 1 Sakra in the 2025/2026 academic year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) employing the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection, conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 21 students of class VIII-H at SMPN 1 Sakra. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, tests, documentation, and field notes. The results showed that the use of Snakes and Ladders learning media could increase students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This was evidenced by an improvement in the average learning score from 86.19 in the first cycle to 96.23 in the second cycle, as well as an increase in learning mastery from 85.71% to 100%. The improvement occurred because the learning process became more engaging, interactive, and enjoyable, allowing students to learn while playing and actively participate in classroom activities. Thus, the Snakes and Ladders learning media proved effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies, particularly in economic topics. This media can serve as an innovative alternative in the learning process to create a more meaningful, active, and enjoyable learning environment for students.
