Abstract

Abstract The implementation of PKM was motivated by the low understanding of teachers regarding income tax and teachers did not know how to fill out and report the Annual Income Tax Return for Individual Taxpayers using e-Filing. To overcome these problems, various solutions can be carried out. One solution that can be provided is to conduct an Online Annual Tax Return Filling Training for Teachers of SMP Negeri 17 Kupang. The results achieved from the implementation of the PKM include 1) There is an increase in teachers' understanding of Income Tax, 2) Teachers are able to fill out and report the Annual Income Tax Return for Individual Taxpayers by using e-Filing. Keywords: Annual SPT, Income Tax, Taxpayers, E-filing Abstrak Pelaksanaan PKM dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman guru-guru mengenai pajak penghasilan dan Guru tidak tahu cara mengisi dan melaporkan SPT Tahunan PPh Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi dengan menggunakan e-Filing. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka dapat dilakukan berbagai pemecahan masalah. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah melakukan sebuah Pelatihan Pengisian SPT Tahunan Online Bagi Guru-Guru SMP Negeri 17 Kupang. Hasil yang dicapai dari pelaksanaan PKM antara lain: 1)Adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru mengenai Pajak Penghasilan, 2)Guru mampu mengisi dan melaporkan SPT Tahunan PPh Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi dengan menggunakan e-Filing. Abstract

Guru-guru tingkat sekolah Dasar dan sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Sabu Raijua banyak yang tidak memahami dengan baik bagaimana penelitian tindakan kelas yang sebenarnya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka dapat dilakukan berbagai pemecahan masalah yaitu salah satunya melakukan Pelatihan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di Kabupaten Sabu Raijua. Target dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah 1) Adanya peningkatan penerapan iptek bagi guru, 2) Guru mampu memahami penelitian tindakan kelas yang sebenarnya 3) Hasil dari PTK guru. Metode pengabdian perencanaan (survei awal dan penyusunan materi terkait prosedur melakukan penelitian Tindakan kelas), pelaksanaan (Penjelasan/Coaching clinic materi penelitian tindakan kelas dengan mitra dan pelatihan dan praktik penelitian tindakan kelas, analisis data dan yang terakhir melakukan evaluasi atau refleksi. Hasik meningkatkan profesionalitas melalui kegiatan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dapat dikembangkan. Ditunjukan dengan pertanyaan dan tanggapan yang diberikan selama kegiatan pengabdian. Sebagian besar (90%) peserta telah memahami PTK, arti penting PTK dan bagaimana menyusun proposalnya.

Abstract

Critical thinking is essential in economics education, yet many senior high school students are still taught through memorization-focused methods, limiting the development of higher-order thinking skills. Project-Based Learning (PjBL) offers a potential alternative by engaging students in real-world, inquiry-based tasks. This quasi-experimental study employed a nonequivalent control group pretest–posttest design involving 71 senior high school students. The experimental group received instruction using the PjBL model, while the control group followed conventional teaching. Data were collected using a validated 20-item multiple-choice critical thinking test aligned with Bloom’s revised taxonomy (C4–C6). ANCOVA was used to analyze posttest differences, with pretest scores as covariates. Hedges’ g and normalized gain (N-gain) were calculated to assess effect magnitude and improvement. ANCOVA results revealed a statistically significant difference in posttest scores favoring the PjBL group (F = 5.686, p = .020), with a medium effect size (Partial Eta Squared = .078). The experimental group outperformed the control group with a mean posttest score of 67.86 versus 60.00. Hedges’ g was 0.522, and N-gain for the PjBL group (M = 0.558) exceeded that of the control group (M = 0.435). The findings suggest that PjBL is effective in enhancing students’ critical thinking in economics, particularly when projects are grounded in real-life contexts such as local inflation data. PjBL implementation requires structured planning, authentic tasks, and clear assessment criteria.
